AbroCadabro Not sure why General Hydroponics has been left off the list of nutrients but I had to enter them in manually. I recently moved to central Illinois and have my medical patient card which allows me to grow up to 5 plants. I really only need 2 per year. These two plants will grow enough medicine to last me through the next season. The wife won't let me grow in the house so I had to move my tent into the garage which can reach temperatures of up to 100F in the peak of the summer. So, I invested in a hydroponics system with a was chiller. I bought the Vevor 1/2hp water chiller and it has been great so far. The water temp in my resevoir never goes above 68F. I started at week 8 because I had a real bitch of a time getting my system stabalized. This is my first hydroponics grow and I had to learn by trial and error. There is a lot of information out there on the internet that over complicates this process and is generally just bad advice. I have found that the best results for this system revovle around a steril resevoir with a maintained temperature and minimal nutrient application. After I sorted out my feeding schedule and system care, it has been smooth sailing. The water Ph and temperatures remain relatively constant, the exception being when I add fresh tap water to top off the resevoir once a day. A small amount of Ph Down resolves tthe issue quickly and ph swings are rare. I add 30mL of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide in each gallon of water that I top off with to prevent root rot and other bacteria from developing in the water. So far the plants have responded well to their environment and are growing rapidly. I will be adding a trellis net next week as the OA#1 is outpacing the SC. I'll just bend the top of the plant over and weave it through the netting while the SC catches up.

AbroCadabro The growth on the Strawberry Cough seems to have slowed while the growth of the Afghani has exploded. I placed a trellis net in the tent in an attempt to redirect the verticle growth into horizontal growth that fills the canopy. I flipped the tent to a 12/12 light cycle and the change in my system was almost immediate. PPM went from 1600 to 1100 over night and the EC went from 2400-2000μS/cm in the same time frame. The Afghani is like a freight train with growth. I am having to trim and bend branches on a daily basis. After this week. I will no longer be performing any training methods on the two plants. They will go untouched until the end of flower.
