Just setting up my account here and figuring everything out. I got these seeds from ILGM and they have by far been the longest ever crop I've ever had, Slow doesn't even begin to describe how long it took to veg. But I think over winter, my room was too cold for one. This is my... 4th or so crop ever, so I'm still leaning. Still building up better equipment. I started out on RIU.com and after searching for growers who have planted Pineapple Haze I stumbled upon this place.

Getting there. This is my first Sativa dominate. (70/30) About half or less of the pistils are brown which I've taken notice to. I still have almost two months left. Last time I checked trichomes they were still clear. I have three clones ready for my next batch that are doing ok. I did kinda neglect them early on, but they're doing fine now. I think I'm done playing with mainlining, and will do some LST and FIM. Got a new carbon filter in the mail, my old one isn't working as well any more, its at least 6mo old. And a new light arriving soon! 1000w LED. Amazon china knock off but 4.5 stars, 1200 reviews. I'll give it a whirl. Close to buying a second tent. My clone/tiny veg box is three cardboard boxes taped together. And the little pot with three sprouts are purple cone flowers :) Last month I had raspberries in there with my clones lol.

Got my new light in. Set it at 24". Also finally put both my carbon filter and inline fan inside my tent, now that I have more room from the new grow light. Buds are finally starting to fatten up a bit, the stretchy stems are starting to get weighed down, so I'll have to rig up some supports. Also have a new oscillating fan on the way should arrive today sometime, it clips on the bars.

I'm a little confused this week. Pistils are all brown, trichomes have the start of some amber. Looks like they're about ready- but I'm only week 6. I did have preflower for a super long time. I started in November, this is how long it took to veg. Maybe it shortened flower? Either way, I took a sample yesterday and its drying, I'll see how it is soon :)

Grow Questions

Should I harvest next week-ish? My pistils and trichomes appear to indicate its almost ready. But my flower time is 6 of 10-11 weeks. I'm going to check next week and take another picture of the trichomes, but they're at the beginning of showing amber.

I would say less than a week to go. They might fatten up a bit. You could try to reduce your light to 10 hours on. And have you started a flush yet?

Just kinda waiting for more amber throughout. I could possibly harvest the second plant's colas. I could possibly harvest it all. The general smell is weaker than it was a few weeks ago. The first harvest I did a week ago is dried and is curing in a jar. The smell is weak, the hay smell is diminishing (I wet trim), possibly getting a better smell. I had an earlier sample I took before harvesting the colas on the first plant. Smell was weak but I didn't really cure, just dried for about a week. The taste was plain, but very smooth. I'm going to give it another week to cure, then sample one from that harvest. I'm just debating if I want to harvest the colas on the second plant in a day or two, or wait a week until I taste my first harvest. A driving factor tbh is my 'veg box' is full and I need the room because I want to scrog the next set of plants. But I might get a second tent, a 2 in 1, I've been needing one bad. Also popped another seed the other day, planted it two days ago. Yesterday morning it barely broke through, today its almost 2" tall. Its in the picture above and will go back in my veg box.
