Germaican This is my tripple Sativa lineup. Three very nice strains which will be my first non-autoflowers.
Lambs Bread: a to be said "nice Jamaican strain that gets you going creatively"
Maui Wowie: a legend from the 60ties born in Hawaii
Pineapple Express: a cross breed from Hawaii and Trainwreck
Germination: All seeds are in the Seedling Starter Tray. 10ml watering per plant with 2 droplets of Rhizotonic and some Mycorrhizae.
From my research it seems that the strains are a bit sensitive (diva like) to feedback and need good care. I will do my best to cater to their environments, while utilizing a full "Spider Farmer" setup from the Seedling Tray & Heat Mat to the Spider Farmer Grinder.
Lets enjoy the journey together. 😃
D2: Pineapple Express and Maui Wowie opened up
around 26°/27°, 70% RH but fluctuations due to Humidifier spit out my whole water in a few hours..they are under their dome, so no need for stats or VPD. More a dry run if my equipment is working as intended.

Germaican Keeping the RH on the high-end 70% with a humidifier. Slowly opening the dome a few hours per day so ease the transition to the full tent volume. From 5 seeds 3 sprouted with out any issues.
LB1 is strong and vigorous
MW is slow and small
PEX normal growth
Aaaand we have a later bloomer, LB2 awoke from its slumber 3 days later than the other seeds.
We got 4 of 5 opened. She is a bit behind I am not sure what to make of her.

Germaican The 1l pots seem to be alright for them with a touch of rhizotonic and ro water and also added mycorrhizae to the substrate every potting to keep it at the roots in low dose.
Watering in low volumes from 20 ml to 100ml upwards when we reached the 3g pots. Always watered in circles to let the roots search for it.
Mostly keeping VPD (rh, temps, vent) steady as much as possible.

Germaican My watering rhytm is a bit lacking. This time i am using more and more water as the plants keep growing and only water in circles around the plants, very little at the stems. No self feed activated only to keep them off the ground.
Sizes differ a lot. Even LB2 the latest addition starts to grow and keep up, I decided to give her a chance.
All seem happy, they have little side shoots already 😄
Keeping the feed light, cause they are all sativas ( except PEX ) the soil should give them enough for now.
At the end of this week i decided to start topping above 4h node.

Germaican This week they are gaining mass very fast. Even though their sizes differ a lot.
LB1 is the tallest and really shows it. MW is super small and I dont know why, maybe its here normal growth pattern, can't tell.
LB2 is growing without any trouble. PEX is super bushy.
Overall I am happy that they are still alive and seem happy. Keeping the vpd with a reasonable range without too many spikes and stress, like my grows before, gives them a better environment. Still I am having trouble with the cold nigts, as its getting colder and the window is leaking a lot. Also the hot wet air needs to be moved further away from my intake.

Germaican I swapped to RO water this grow, as the tap water here is really bad and has too much salts. Thats why i kept adding calmag constantly to keep up with their rapid growth. For now they do not show any signs of calmag deficiencies. Overall I am feeding super low compared to my other grows. From my almost not feeding LB1 shows little clawing, which means she has already enough. The light mix seeems filled enough for sativas at this stage and growth rate.
Mid week it was time to cut down some leafes, as the RH started spiking a lot. Also I fimmed 2 of 4.
They are taking the training good and also finally reached the net.

Germaican This week its transition time. I can not wait anylonger as LB1 is starting to outgrow everybody else. I gave them 5 more days to fill a bit more, patience is needed with sativas, thats for sure.
ITS MESSY ! ITS RUFF ! ITS HARD! I keep tucking and bending, snapped a top of LB1 but she doesn't care it still grows. Some tops of the FIMing are weaklings, got cut off. The net is filling and I had to find a solution to vent the warm air outside, I can not stress enough how important it is to get new fresh air in the room and the bad air out of the room.
Now the early pistils are showing after 10 days of transition.

Germaican Now we are at day 21 of flip and the early budlets are starting to form.
I was busy keeping the environment warm enough at nights, dipping under 18C is a bad idea which kept me busy.
Also keeping the dehumidifier, the heater and vent intake/outtake stable and in balance was the main hurdle.
For now the day seems to be balanced and without any issues 59% rh, 1.1vpd to 1.2, 21 to 25C
The night is a bit on the humid side with 18C at 67Rh the dehum is constantly toggling on and off every 30 min
to engage against the microclimate.
The characteristics have changed;
LB1 is vigorous and slim
LB2 is very balanced a indica leaning variant with less stress signs and a more floral smell
MW she is one of a kind. She grew slow now she had a push, but she grew very wide after the topping. Most budlets did not make it over the net.
PEX decided to not grow at all and get bushier day by day, also a heavy indica leaning variant it seems. Had to up her a few cm which is not enough still.
They all seem happy and healthy, some browning on the tops, i guess from the too fast growth and reaaching too close to the lamp and my constant touching and traning into the net might have cause that.
Feeding : They drink a lot. Roots are reaching out of the pot. I can fully soak each watering and they push it upwards into the new leaves which are light greenish and have a small brown at their tipps. Slight over feeding but still keeping it on the low end.
Defoil at day: 18/21
Smell started mostly at nights, light off. Its calm. Waiting on full flower and watching closely.
