FarmerRasa Germed in paper towel after 12 hr soak. Then planted in small pot of coco coir with humidity dome until sprout came up from the soil.
Germed back in early august. Plant is going into week 5 now. Finally getting this added in. Oops lol

FarmerRasa First week was originally 8/18 (didn't start diary until today.) dealt with some nute issues, mainly due to my mistake of not adding enough notes to my waterings. Fixed this in week 2. I doubt this stunted things too badly. First time using coco and read bad info on not needing nutes immediately. Regular feedings of nutes at 1/4 full strength fixed the problem in week 2.

FarmerRasa There is a lot more growth coming in now, thankfully. She stalled for a bit (maybe growth below, probably lol) 2 weeks probably from a transplant. maybe? 🤔
I will be transplanting into a 5 Gal fabric pot with newly buffered coco coir and perlite (70/30). I plan to take some clones of this once it is big enough to do so too...
Im so happy the early nute issue didn't affect the plant too badly. The best part of coco is that it allows you to fix things so fast! Never working with soil again lol. 😆 This plant would have died in soil lmao. I swear...

FarmerRasa 3 weeks old now. Moved her into a 5 gal pot for her final home during veg. She's doing much better getting out of her cramped cup. She got a bit root bound. I then moved her downstairs into my bigger tent as well now that has ventilation.
She and 3 other plants will be sharing this space.
I saw a gnat buzzing around. I am worried there could be pests popping up so I added some traps but so far only the one has adhered itself to the tape. IPM at the ready if it does happen.

FarmerRasa RIP! I am all sorts of twisted up on my diaries here. Somehow behind and yet ahead on my postings. From week 4 and post topping of the plant. Plant is actually going into week 5 of veg soon. 😅 I need to be better at keeping track of things....
Anyway, top went well and she is exploding in growth after that. Trying to get the top to root so I can have a clone of her. We will see if that is successful. For now, keeping her fed and pest free. Added in some DE and will be covering her in sand soon to keep the gnats away. I will be using a sprayer to water her going forward as to not disturb the sand layer when it's on. Seems the coco somehow has gnats in it despite my most careful efforts. Ugh!

FarmerRasa Started training the plant. Trying to spread out the branches so they all are level and evenly getting light. Going to need to do some defoliation in the next week. Green in the leaves has darkened well too after giving the tea to fix the N deficiency.
Unfortunately this suffered a casualty today and a fan fell on her and broke some branches. Soooo... she's getting a bit of HST unintentionally. :(
Hoping this won't kill her. Trying to make the best of a crappy situation and taking the broken pieces and cloning them. We will see what happens....
