NastyNatesJungle Greetings GD fellas. Time to hit that 'rock... Moon Rock that is.
Today is the start of a strain I've been salivating over for awhile now: Divine Seeds Auto Moon Rock. If the pictures on the package are anything close to what the final product looks like, I'm in for a real treat.
Started with my standard procedure:
Day 1: placed seed in small container with water and placed in darkness for 48 hours.
Day 3: removed seed to find a small tap root emerging. Nice. Placed in soaked peat pellet about 1 cm below the surface. Put into metal lunch box wrapped in seedling mat.
Day 5: still no signs of activity.
Day 6: a small seedling has emerged! Giving it one more day to grow a little. Transferring tomorrow.
A big shout out to the crew over at Divine Seeds. I've loved their stuff quite a bit since the last contest. Keep it up.

NastyNatesJungle Week 1... let's gooooooooo.
I've had some problems with stretching before on these new germinations, so I snagged this guy a day earlier than normal and transplanted him to a 1 liter yogurt container filled with All Mix. I highly recommend the yogurt container and it's easy to slice and transplant. I removed the netting around the peat pellet and placed it directly in the center.
I also built my own seedling grow box. It's a nice starter environment and a good use of these old burple panels I had lying around. Beneath the plastic box is a seedling mat. Keeps the temperature consistent and provides a good humidity. Set to 18/6 just as full spectrum. Plan to transfer to normal lights in a week.
I covered the seedling for the first couple days, then uncovered for the rest of the week. Also placed a small container of water in the box - gotta keep that humidity up. Until next time...
