Wanted to make the best out of the somewhat cheapest. Couldn't find 3 gallon pot the day I needed it since it's an auto I don't want to transplant. I'll be using 8 LED flood light for the most part. I will probably use 2 UVA led light bulb in flowering to stimulate the tri to comes out. I'm not sure about nutrient, but I guess I will at least be obligated to use some bloom at a point, I will be looking for homemade alternative id you have any idea, share. I have heard from forums that this strain get very smelly (skunk) so in the futur you will see me build a air vent system. For now look at her she's pretty 😁
At first I was a bit worried about the grow, it was looking good but I didn't know what to expect speed of growth speaking. I believe the sun bath I gave her was beneficial but I think it's more about the root really taking, ROOT. I tried multiple thing to see how she would react, from light schedule to water push push on her. I found the her sweet spot for now and it's going on great. That is pretty much at 12-13 day I would say. She really did explode, amazed. The new lights are on the way and I think it will do a good difference cause I can tell she can go faster than that. When do you begin LST ? I guess I should be ok at 21 day.

First 5 photos are more of late second week. Planted on 4th of April, until 22th I wont be home so here is the latest I had from late week 2. I will edit at end of week 3 (25th).
Edit: Yes I added 2 photo just now, it was when she was taking a bath of beautiful sunlight when I was inspecting the soil for White moss. There was a lack of aeration at a time so now the fan is right on point and I made AERATION hole into to soil, 6 of them. I believe I damaged a little root in the process which is to be expected and looook at who's peeking it's nose. I think we got a root clone here. Pretty lucky I think since it's was far from intended but I'm still not sure about it's identity. I'll take a look the 22th or 23th and give some feedback then.

URP NEWS: ... Well I removed the dirt, it must have been nothing anyway.

April 22:
There was white moss, removed it the hard way, dropped temp to 21 from 24. Will probly buy new dirt to coverup, redid the closet setup. Will wait a bit morr before watering again. Sprayed with a bit of baking soda. Washed wall, threw in trash useless things to reduce contamination probability and help me focus more on her health. Strange shit cause my fan was right on her but ambient air wasnt aerated.
April 24
New light !!! Need some positionning but overal good ! It will further benefit later on when I need more coverage. Plant didnt seems too happy, still growing but beside the signs of overwatering I think she needed a small shower so I gave her. I'll wait to see result. I will try to wait until monday next before starting fertilizer. Since it's a autoflower I felt morr confident buying a NPK of 18/18/23. It has micronutrient in it so I took it as a plus. Soil should have still plenty of nitrogen but I hope to help her with the snacks. I will be posting tomorrow to see her shape. She's down a bit right now but she proved me how vigorous she is. Not worried. I might try to acidify the soil next week with a bit of vinegar with the fertilizer. Not sur if my ph tester work correctly but the soil is most likely neutral at the moment so. Alright that's it for now.

Just began lst, she reacted good from watering yesterday but the leaf and dropping down again even thosoil is still wet, gave her a litttle bit of acidic water with fertilizer, just a bit. I'll be back to see her in 2 days and half. I'm in a learning curve so when back I'll see the result, her response to the current environnement and I will adapt. Even tho she might take it hard she might not, we'ill see. If she looks sad when I come back I'll give her a good amount of water with a bit of nutrient to see what's going on.
April 28
Plant react great to fertilizer. I think light was definitely too close, raised it a good amount. Turned down a bit on the fan. Sprayed with water and will continue as needed. Leaf feels much better already, soil is still pretty wet tho. Leafs color is much darker now. In a day or 2 I think she'll be pretty happy. Further trained her earlier, she's really bushy, I like it but it's hard to get all the new growth to get light. I'll need further upgrade my training tools. Hyped to see her in 3-4 days. Ill take care of her. Good night
May 02
Entering preflower, I think I don't have much training time ahead but I'm sure I'll be able to get her even and clean. Some small branches are trying to pop out under the already 6-7 ones but I just can't get light on there, we'll see later on if I harvest in sequence!
This won't be the most successful grow but it will have been a realllllyyy instructive one. Next one if there is soon will most likely give better result.
So far, without being too harsh, I think she's doing great still. Might not be in the most perfect healthy state but it's not a big deal in the sense that she's still pretty happy right now and that's fine with me.
From start she has been on 24 hour non stop and I don't see any problem with it. In any case you are sure to not halt her growth by doing so and each one of these led should consume about 6 watts. On 8 we get to a grand total of 48 watts which is very fine. Current light setup might have been upgraded to a potential increase in yield of 25 to 35 % I'd guess. But for the price I paid for all of this, it's very much worth it. Doubling the light setup would raise me to a 100 watts, and light coverage would be sufficient to grow 4 autoflower. Since I only have one plant I'm keeping it on the not too expensive side without sacrificing too much, but a third setup of 4 led with 2 reptile UV led would probably increase significantly the final quality and quantity. In any case, even tho I can say it has pained me to train her since she's so small and bushy, I would probably keep this strain around for sentimental reason, I really see value in life itself and this plant is part of mine, eheh. Good night guys.
May 03
I think I can notice 4 pistils growing out of the main head. Magnification from camera. It took me another hour or so to train her but I think it's worth it. I'm at about 9 new heads that are getting a good amount of light, I don't know what will happen to the other smaller ones under these 9s, we'll see if they have time to produce anything ^^. Funny expectation, if the branch don't stretch a good inch from today to 4-5 days in the future, this is gonna be chaotic there xD. Aye aye, I'll be away from pretty girl for roughly 2 day. I gave her about 350 ML of water 2 days ago. Since she has shown minor sign of problems relating to soil ph, I gave her 1 part decarbonated Perrier with about 2.7 part neutral water. Perrier is made from source water which contain macro-nutrient essential to plants. It's PH is also officially cotted at 5.5. There is debates on whether or not carbonated Perrier would be beneficial to a plant, but here I choosed to play narrower. I'm still spraying her with water once in a while. I am progressively lowering the frequency since she is approaching flowering and I don't want the humidity level to raises to much, for any question just message me. Aight, guud night.
May 05
Just came back, she need water, it's obvious to me since I know her grow rate which has been slower the past 2 day it seems, pot feel lighter and soil dry ^^. I'm a little bit sick and I just came back so I'll relax a bit and take care of her later tonight. I'll try giving her 600 ml of water this time, she's getting bigger and with flowering approaching I think it's time to look for a increase. Fan leafs did increase in volume from the newly trained branch, but it feel like she has been going at 75% of her speed, but it might also be her entering flowering phase so slowing her vegetative growth, I'll post more picture after training of her later tonight, good night ;)
May 07
I have read somewhere that cannabis plant often go for a good stretch before the flowering really kick in and I think that's what she's heading for. I am quite satisfied with the current evenest of each tops, I am expecting the main branch to grow higher even tho she's pretty much equal for now. I think it's normal and as long as possible I'll pull her down from the need of light coverage but everything should be fine, I don't think there will be any problem with the light. I am really looking forward to see how high she will stretch. Ideally, I don't want her to grow too big, but I am very interested in the idea of her being full of tops. The bigger the branch, the better nutrient are delivered and if light is managed correctly, you'll end up with a bigger harvest, bigger colas. So far I gave her nutrient 1 time, she got nitrogen toxicity because the soil is in fact rich enough for pretty much the whole grow, when I bought my fertilizer I thought about the fact that autoflower grow pretty much all in one at the same time but with that soil, I should have gone for something more on the P and K side. I am considering buying a new small amount of fertilizer for cheap, that is better adapted to my need. I do have little worries about micro nutrients but I do believe I am stressing a bit for nothing. In worst case I'll just answer to her need which is totally fine. Have a nice day !
May 09
Right side decided to stretch like yolo, left side ? Idk x) Sure thing, since a week ago I need to water a lot more.
May 10
Hello everyone, since she's bushy and the pot doesn't allow me much vision on the bottom of the plan I had not realized but I found out some yellowing browning leafs. As I'm aware from 2 week ago, my soil contain very little P and K, main nutrient in the soil is nitrogen. I thought that using my balanced fertilizer would be enough but I'm really restricted by the nitrogen toxicity kicking in if I give too much, thus limiting the amount of P and K I can give her. That said, I still want to make sure my problem is not ONLY cause by ph, so I tried again to lower ph over given water, this will be my last attempt before buying new nutrients, I will be looking for something like 0-15-15, or 0-20-15. I will then experiment again with Perrier feeding (this time I won't drink it all 😏). I had done it 1 or 2 weeks ago with a ratio of 1 to about 3 which had cause no negative effect, but I had let the water decarb for a certain amount of time. If nothing has changed in 2-3 days (next watering) I'll go buy it all and give her the following: 700 Ml of Perrier, opened and left to rest 2-3 minutes, combined with new nutrient which will mainly contain P and K. I will probably follow 1/3 of recommended dose, that should be plenty for now, I don't think I'll ever need to go over 1/2 of recommended dose with this plant. I am really looking forward to use Perrier as a watering solution, while you are certainly paying for water, it's source water which contain ppm of essential nutrient and has an official PH rated at 5.5, thus eliminating the big need for a ph tester that can cost effectively be pretty expensive. I will give you news as soon as possible on that. Have a nice day ^^.
Droopy leafs: Not worried, at first though it was over watering which cannot be the case anymore. There might be some oxygen problem in the soil but that will be it. She might also be rootbound which wouldnt be surprising since early in her growth I could already see big root right at draining holes. In any case I see this reaction more of a reflex than as a problem, as long as the nutrients are there she is gonna be fine. Pot is 2 gallon, it is definitely not enough, 3.5 gallon would be perfect for an autoflower considering you are watering in circle progressively.
May 12
Problem has occurred with soil acidification. She will probably survive but her yield if there is any will probably be really small... Flushed soil, will update
in 2-3 days. If it wasn't for the ruderalis genetic she would probably be done for
If its natural colours of photo, then your plant is ready for small feed in my opinion.
Her bright green colour of leaf shows me that.
Her redish leaf stems shows potencial mag problems, so i would add some calmag to feed or epsom salt.
Her curly down and droopy leaves looks to me like overwatering. Pot should be dry before you water.
There is plenty ways how to determine is your plant ready for watering, plant showing you that - worst of them ;)
For soil best ph is from 6.3 to 6.5. You can google nutrition absorb graph related to ph and you will see yourself.
Happy growing. Its wonderfull adventure !
@AsNoriu, Alright that make me feel more secure about the amount to give them, if you want to go organic I found that chart recently, it has lab analysis about NPK ratio in commonly used organic fertilizer. If you better prefer write that on google:
Horticulture
NPK value of everything organic!
https://thenutrientcompany.com/blogs/horticulture/npk-value-of-everything-organic-database?fbclid=IwAR3B9R_HzbczkfAy3-msG0E0T9h3NuIB8ZzeA2I0oPumiJigra0OVBKiJcU
@WetAndSmelly, fox farm grow big 80 ml. But i used around 100 ml of CalMag and around 200 of big bloom. But its my last run with fox farm. They are not total organic. I am after good smoke for me not after quantity for sale. So its different for each of us ...
Its only 6 weeks of veg.
@Adrenalized, Thanks a lot man :) Yeah I'm proud of her ^^ but yeah at this point the mainstem appears to be shorter than the one that stretched 😂😂😂 I've found out that some lower yellow leaf were yellowing browning :x I'll make an update in a bit
Cute plant. I know you already know this! Let this girl dry out a bit before your next watering. She is showing some light green/yellow newer growth that looks like a sulfur deficiency starting. Could be from a high ph see if you can get down below 6.5. Mix 1 teaspoon Epsom salt(magnesium sulfate) to 1 gallon water use this in with your next watering she should green back up. Then go back to your regular routine.
@Philindicus, First, thanks a lot !! Yes I think these symptomes are mostly related to soil ph being to high. I don't have a reliable way of measuring liquid ph and I am a bit afraid of putting the recommended amount of vinegar in my watering solution, I will invest myself into it at next watering, thanks for the tip about sulfur, I'll look into it when I go buy my bloom nuts.
I’m gonna put at work on 24/24 and as a good boss I will tell to others that you’re doing ok with no sleep.... 🙄
That plant is droopy, first I’ve thought it was slightly overwatered but I couldn’t see any speed bumps on the leaves, typical symptoms that goes with it.... then after reading you were on 24h cycle I have found why ....
Overwatering ? Too high Ph ? Potencial Mag deficiency ?
Bad time for leaving her alone ... At least dont water till pot is light. Just spray plant every 4-6 hours.
@AsNoriu, life come first and 2 day will just plainly show me if the worries were worth it, she's far from about to die. Not just sure about the precursor sign since it's my first :P
I loved to use first two weeks 24 and then reduse to 18/6. Many things shows and many people agrees that 18/6 best cycle even for autos. Plant learns to sleep with open eyes, but its not so efficient tho .... ;)
Even people after 100 grows still finds out or experience something new with every grow. Hope first grow will go smoothly and you wont need to learn a lot ;)))))
Enjoy the ride !
