Auto's All Around

Got 3 seedlings started last week, I planted a Fast Buds Mexican Airlines, G13 from SeedKing, Jack Herer (last one) from SeedKing. Put them in root riots and under CFL's for now and will be ready for 3 gal pots next Sunday.

4/20 was a busy day in my house when I got off work at 3:30, I had about 100 things that needed to be done around the grow room and after baking cokkies, making Cana Coconut Caps, and smoking as much as I could all day to be as baked as I could I ended up working till 2AM before I realized how tired I was. Well I got about 88 or the things done including mixing up 3 - 3Gal pots of Coco for these 3 Auto's I will track in this Journal. The Jack Herer and G13 have about 5 or 6 days on the Mexican Airlines I got those seeds Friday and she is in a root riot just popping her head up. I PH'd the 2 pots to 6.0 in and 6.0PH out. Took about 6 gallons of water to run through the Coco till I got PH down from 7.9 in the initial run off. This was a new step I added and I think it will be beneficial to the grow. I am using a 300W cobb light I bought really cheap on Amazon, it doesn't even have a switch, but I am using a KASA smart switch and have it on 24/7 anyway. The light is bright enough, but I am not sure it will have the spread I need to cover the whole tent. I may need to get another one. I am currently out of space and had to flip my veg room i built to flower for 3 photos in there and my flower tent is full with 6 plants in there, they are in various stages of flowering and tracked in my other two journals. But my plan is now to just run the rest of the Auto's I have which is 4 more G13 and 9 more Fast Buds Mexican Airlines. The other plant in the photo is a Poinsettia that was about totally dead my daughter's BF gave her for Christmas and I saved it from death and now it is growing like crazy, when the weather gets better I will put it outside. 4/24 Checked on the girls at lunch and everything is the same, I looked at the Mexican Airlines and its roots are starting to show out of the Root Riot. Last night I PH'ed the 3 gal coco for her to PH 6 in and 6 out, at lunch I mixed a batch with light nutes and some CalMagic and poured most of it through and gave the other two a small drink. Tonight I will plant the Mexican Airlines seedling. Otherwise they are just sitting there not doing much but I know they are building their root system and will take off soon. Autos start so differently than photos it seems to me. I grew 8 photos from seed so far and non of them did what the first 2 autos did but once they take off there is no stopping them! Fun to grow.

The Jack Herer 3 is starting to grow now, just last night she started to grow her next node. She is going to be fun to work with and compare the 3 yields of these Auto's The G13 looks like she is about to start growing too. The Mexican Airlines Fast Buds, is a week behind the other two. I am about to harvest 3 plants from the flower tent and will get a few more sprouting about the same time. I am still on the fence about the 300 watt light I bought it is bright enough, but the throw size of the light is not that big. I may get a 2nd one like this one it only draws 100W on. But things are well and when I get the other plants harvested I may be able to move the other 3 in the veg room under my 1500W Led to the flower tent and reclaim my veg room. I am temporally using my old 2x4x4 tent for the autos while I have 3 photos flowering in the room I built for veg. The Jack 3 has the yellow tag, the G13 has the blue one and the Mexican Airline has the white tag. 5/3 Had the day off yesterday and the two Mexican Airlines I put on paper towel the night before had a nice little tap rots and they got put in root riots and should be sticking their heads out soon. I am going to grow these in cups for a while so I can put the cup on the pots under the little light in my 2x4x4 tent. I have them on warming mat under a CFL for now. The other 3 must have had some PH issue or something initially the cotyledon leaves are covered with rust spots but all the new growth looks fine except the G13 has some strange shaped leaves but nothing I am really concerned with.

Wow, been a busy few weeks and missed a week, got the flu last week and was wiped out from Thursday night to Sunday evening. I managed to get up and do a bit with the girls. G13 and Mexican Airlines got some LST and a few lower branches removed. Jack 3 has been topped and starting the quadline process. Should be really cool to see 3 exact same plants have 3 different training and appearance are totally different. The Jack 2 untrained is huge and Jack 1 got a bit sick. I had one issue, I think my PH meter was way off, I just ordered another to try next time the other night I flushed all the girls with 6.0 measured by chemical testing. I have the new one now and will test tonight, all the girls need some attention today.
