The tent’s passive intake ports a bit wider to allow more intake.. The photos show the current setup. I’m working to keep conditions stable and plant-friendly. I noticed a few fungus gnats in the soil. It’s not a big infestation, but I’m trying to catch them with sticky traps and I also sprayed the top 2 centimeters of soil with neem oil. The plant on the left developed some dark spots about 10 hours after the transplant. The plant on the right is really strong and growing quickly. When repotting, I buried the stems about one to two centimeters deeper into the soil than they were before. The main stem is lying on the surface from training, not really planned but it happened. I think the slow growth comes from pests and my watering routine. The plant shows no classic drought signs, but I likely under-watered and did not wet the whole root zone. Nineteen-liter pots are harder to water evenly than 15 L or 11 L. For two plants I would use 2Ɨ15 L or 2Ɨ11 L. I was told larger pots are better for living soil and soil life, but I am not sure it matters at this scale in my setup. With a fresh mix I believe one autoflower in 19 L could fill the tent. No topping required. She is really compact and there isn't much space between the individual stems. Auto #1 will hopefully start flowering soon. She is one or two days younger. She is growing just as I imagined. PROBLEMS - Fungus gnats (flies) during first 3 weeks. - Early transplantation. - Soil dried to much between watering during week 2 and 3. - Low VPD probably causes less growth. - Auto#1: necrosis after transplantation. - Auto#2: Too much nitrogen during veg. - Auto#2: Hurt the baby leaves in veg while training. - Auto#2: main stem snapped during begin of flowering. She got really tall and has many many bud sites. I keep the lamp as close as possible to compensate the height difference. The room isn't heated right now but it's getting pretty cold these days so i probably turn on the heater. Night time is even worse. It's raining a lot so that is just unlucky. Auto#1 is growing taller and taller. The main stem is in the back, this one on the right just randomly shoot upwards. She shows some signs of light stress in the center of the LED. The development of the stems and buds is really different and weird. Not at the same pace. Auto#2 is staying small but more buds are stacking up. The first orange pistils are showing. She is purple, finishes in 9 to 10 weeks and is sensitive to nitrogen so my guess is "Purple Lemonade Auto" or "LSD-25 Auto". I had to cut one small side branch to get her out of the net. She has many flowers and defoliation helps her a lot. The main stem in the back has the most mature flowers. I don't know why the right side branches grew so tall. Leaves are burned In the center of the light source but it's not to bad. I just don't keep up enough with adjusting the height of the light. She isn't too smelly, her trichomes sometimes have a bit fruity smell but it's most dominantly stinky cheese. Auto#2 grew so dense and compact that i had to cut off many branches because there was water stuck between the flowers and leaves. The side branch on the right is somewhat early to finish. It has amber trichomes and orange pistils on top but the others don't. You can see she is extremely frosty and she smells really nice. Also her buds are stacking up really good. If you grow this with less nutrients (nitrogen) i am sure she will be huge. Damn just look at her it's amazing. Another one or two weeks for her to completely finish. I am really impressed and happy. Don't forget that they only get water and are fed by my self-made soil. - Auto#2: Water.caught between leaves.
