B3ardman420 Day 0 – Preparation
Seeds were soaked in RO water, while Rockwool cubes were pre-soaked for 60 minutes with a little Terra Aquatica Root Booster (0.20 mL/L).
The cubes were placed under a dome to maintain high humidity. 🌱
Day 2 – Germination
100% germination rate achieved. All seedlings are up and looking healthy.
Two of them kept their seed shell a bit longer, but it naturally fell off without any help.
Conditions under the dome: 25 °C, 86% RH, PPFD ~330 µmol/m²/s.

B3ardman420 🌱 Week 1 – Seedling Stage
The seedlings have completed their first week, showing steady and healthy growth. The cotyledons opened well, and the first true leaves are developing nicely. So far, everything looks strong and vigorous.
Nutrient solution has remained very light, only 0.25 ml/L Terra Aquatica Root Booster, with RO water. This provided a gentle start without stressing the young roots.
Environmental data (Week overview):
– Temperature: 21.5–28.2 °C (stable range)
– Humidity: 55–90% (under the dome up to ~85%)
– PPFD: ~330–350 μmol/m²/s at 38% light intensity
– CO₂: ~720 ppm average
The Spider Farmer system kept conditions stable, with only minor daily fluctuations. These parameters supported a smooth seedling start, with no stress signs or stretching.
So far, everything is going according to plan. Excited to see how they will take off in Week 2!
