CannaNotion 🆙 We’re starting a new grow diary on GrowDiaries with the Candy House strain from UKHTA Genetics
🗓️ Germination start date: 09/14/2025
🌰 Day 7 of germination in water
🌱 Day 1 out of the soil
📝 On 09/14/2025, we started germinating these 3 Candy House seeds using the germination system patented by UKHTA Genetics called JAWS (Just Add Water System), which will help us with the germination of our seeds. I should mention that the pack of 3 seeds came with an extra one as a gift, and it's Fruit Gum, which we will also be tracking.
📝 These seeds took a bit longer to open than usual. I’m not sure if it’s because of the system used or the seeds themselves. The first one opened on 09/17/2025 (no. 1) and the second on 09/18/2025 (no. 2), and they were planted once opened. The third one is still in the JAWS system, moist, and it seems like it’s not going to open… No. 1 emerged from the soil on 09/20/2025, and no. 2 hasn’t emerged yet, but it’s already peeking out.
It’s a shame that the third seed didn’t germinate, but we’ll keep an eye on it in case it’s just a late bloomer. I’ll upload more photos soon.

🌰 Day 22 since germination in water cup
🌱 Day 16 out of the soil
📝 We're continuing with this Candy House, which is growing slowly since we're limiting its growth by having the flowering cabinet running. We'll be monitoring the watering with nutrients, as the pot is 0.4L. It's been 17 days out of the soil, and when it reaches 21 days, we'll transfer it to a 2L pot.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update December 30th 🗓️
🌱 Day 107 since seeds were put to germinate.
🌺 Day 1 of flowering
📝 We’re starting the flowering of this strain, after a long time without commenting here. More than 2 months have passed, and these plants have been growing quietly in 2L pots for the flowering time of the last cycle. On October 15th, they were transplanted from 0.4L to 2L, and on December 4th, they were transplanted to 7L pots to get used to the new medium, as spending so much time in 2L pots was harming the plants. On December 26th, we did a low pruning and took some cuttings from these 2 plants, to preserve the genetics if this one turns out to be a bomb. Preventive measures with Spruzit and diatomaceous earth were taken a week before this defoliation.
💡 The lighting is at 50%, and it’s cold in the room where the cabinet is, but I’ve put heating cable around the pots, and it seems that at least the roots are doing well.
📌 The problems associated with being in small pots for too long are resolved, so we expect good flowering. They are receiving the Mills schedule as always, a bit less than indicated, and we’ve already picked up a BlueLab pH meter, ensuring that the mix has the correct pH and temperature at all times.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update on January 10th and photos from January 7th 🗓️
🌱 Day 118 since seeds were put to germinate.
🌺 Day 13 of flowering
📝 We're continuing the flowering of these Candy House with photos from January 7th. I haven't been able to stop and take more recent photos. We're maintaining watering with nutrients according to the Mills chart, with a pH of 6.1. I love that position adoring the light fixture.
💡 The LED has the flowering light activated at 50% and the growth light at 50%, and we've raised the temperature to a maximum of 21 at times, but it's really cold. Despite that, the stretch is happening correctly, as this variety doesn't stretch much.
📌 The pre-flowering is almost done. The only manual work left is defoliation on day 21 of flowering and practically keeping them well watered and fed to finish this cycle. Will we manage to do 6 cycles this year?

CannaNotion 🆙 Update January 18 (even though today is the 19th lol) and photos from January 17 🗓️
🌱 Day 126 since seeds were put to germinate.
🌺 Day 21 of flowering
📝 We finished the stretch phase of these Candy House, loving the lighting. They have stretched quite well and are filling up with pre-flowers.
💡 The LED has the flowering light activated at 60%, reaching sustainable peaks of 21ºC. Humidity is the current problematic factor, as our dehumidifier has broken and with the current weather, it's already too high.
📌 Severe defoliation pending after finishing these first 3 weeks of pre-flower, so that air circulates better, in case we can't lower the relative humidity much more.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update for January 26th and photos from January 25th 🗓️
🌱 Day 134 since seeds were put to germinate.
🌺 Day 28 of flowering
📝 On day 21 of flowering, after posting here, we did some defoliation and cleaned up the lower parts that weren't getting enough light. We've started adding C4 sugars, and the most photogenic phase is coming. I'm managing to raise the temperature in the room where I have the setup. So far, everything seems good, looking forward to seeing how the inflorescences fatten up.
💡 The LED is at 65% power, and the plants appreciate the little heat it emits.
📌 Pruning and such are done, now we just need to keep them well-fed for the rest of the cycle, and by the end of February, we'll finish the first cycle of 2026. I have to say that these plants, like the Fruit Gum, spent a lot of time in small pots of less than a liter while I finished the last flowering cycle of 2025. It could have been much better, but well, we have several cuttings of these Candy House, and we'll put it back in the next cycle.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update February 2nd and photos from February 1st 🗓️
🌱 Day 159 since seeds were put to germinate.
🌺 Day 35 of flowering
📝 We’ve started the fattening and scent intoxication in the room. We had to turn on the neutralizer due to the smell. We’re applying PK this week. It’s noticeable that this strain has smaller buds, but it’s full of resin and smells really good.
💡 The LED is at 70% power and this helps to gradually fatten them up.
📌 I’m not sure if the high humidity due to the rains is affecting the fattening, but the smell is incredible, so the result is going to be good, regardless of the quantity. Also, with such high humidity, we could lose some dense buds.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update day February 10 and photos from February 8 🗓️
🌱 Day 157 since seeds were put to germinate.
🌺 Day 43 of flowering
📝 We're still fattening up, but it seems like this strain isn't going to bulk up much, though I don't know if it's just me... and it's probably due to the cold and high humidity. But hey, we're continuing with the grow and nothing can stop us.
💡 The LED is at 80% and you can tell we've reached 23ºC and the plants appreciate it.
📌 We're still using the Mills chart and this is coming to an end.

🌱 Day 158 since seeds were put to germinate.
🌺 Day 53 of flowering
📝 I think I haven't done very well with this strain. And it's a shame that due to the cold, none of the cuttings I took worked out to try them again... I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth for not being able to maximize this, but soon we'll be able to try it again.
💡 The LED is almost at maximum and the growth LEDs haven't been used.
📌 This week 8 we've started watering with water and this is about to finish.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update February 27th 🗓️
🌱 Day 166 since seeds were put to germinate
🌺 Day 61 of flowering
📝 We’ve reached the end of this run of Candy House. In the end, it has taken shape and created a lot of trichomes that smell really good. I think this run could have been better due to the low temperature and high humidity, but by the end of the cycle, it seems to have found its rhythm to finish full of resin.
💡 The LED has reached 80% by the end of flowering
📌 The fan leaves have been drying out since it has been watered with water for the last 10 days, but intermittently. They have suffered a bit of final water stress, but the quality of the trichomes is very high.
After 14 days of drying, these 2 harvested plants are very similar to each other, although one has a more candy-like smell, like pineapple. But both are delicious. It's a shame I couldn't take cuttings, because the one that tastes more like pineapple is super tasty and has really thick resin, ideal for extraction. Sugar leaves packed with trichomes. Spectacular.
