Decretto The beginning of it all. Germination took a bit longer than expected, about 2 days more, because it was quite cold in my area. But since everything went well, the little one sprouted.

Decretto It's my first experience with this strain, unfortunately, I can't be sure of the responsible bank, but I realized that it is indeed a predominantly indica hybrid. I was surprised by the speed of growth in just 1 week using a makeshift low-cost grow setup.

Decretto I'm really surprised by her growth speed, the difference from the beginning of the second week of life to the end was quite significant as the secondary branches have already shown their potential and the leaves have a very pronounced serration.

Decretto The third week of life comes to an end. The growth continues at full speed, even though I haven't been able to give her more attention due to the daily hustle.

Decretto This week was tough, I barely had time to take care of them, but at least I managed to tie them down to keep them short, since my grow has only 50cm of height available for growth, so all my plants need to be trained, otherwise things get out of control.

Decretto The fifth week was laborious, I had to do several ties and clean-up because it was very bushy with super compact nodes, plus the airflow was limited. Despite that, it's showing good resistance to training.

Decretto The sixth week of life was pretty calm, I noticed that it started to exude an earthy/creamy odor that I believe is the strong point of the OG genetics. I went to check, and those tiny little dots on the leaves are responsible for that, right? It's very interesting that it's producing tiny trichomes even before the actual flowering.
But as not everything is sweet, unfortunately, I'll have to dismantle the grow to make a change, so it will spend days or weeks in total darkness with the grow closed 😭. Despite that, I believe it will survive, even with some aftermath, as it has shown to be quite resilient to the ups and downs of life. The next post will be about its recovery, and I'll start with a light period of 12/12, but I won't consider it as actual flowering, rather the end of the vegetative stage.

Decretto The week was surprisingly constructive. The plant spent several days without light, stuck in the sealed box, as I was moving. Despite all that time in the dark, and with dead leaves, it proved to be extremely resilient to pruning and abrupt environmental changes, recovering the pruned foliage in no time.

Decretto The first week of flowering has actually begun, pistils have appeared timidly. The branches are still stretching quite a bit, requiring several ties, supercropping, and defoliation to keep the plant low and not burn the tops.

Decretto The flowering is in full swing and the branches keep stretching. I hope it stops at this height next week, because it's tiring to do daily training haha.

Decretto And the growth doesn't stop. The third week since sprouting ends with the legendary OG Punch showing potential for compact and extremely resinous buds. By the end of the third week since the pistils appeared, I noticed that some pistils turned orange, while others are growing vertically, along with an intense resin shine on the older calyxes and sugar leaves.
