The cotyledon emerged sideways from the rock wool which is a first for me but as mentioned in the photos the root seems much stronger and thicker in the very early stages than what I am used to.
In my layman's opinion, I would venture that this is due to my new light which seems to be good quality and runs cool with a PPF of over 1000 at 33 cm from the light panel to the plant. If anyone wants to comment on the hanging distance, I would love to hear your thoughts as I am still new to this. I hope the fan will help to bring the room temperature down and I have a mini humidifier on the way as well. I am trying out a temporary solution to add humidity to the grow space i.e. damp cloths in a cup of water.
At around Day 5 I moved my light up to 80 cm and my fan down since one of my true leaves was turned inwards and the temperature was too high and the humidity too low. The growing conditions seemed much better after this move.
Thanks for reading.
