ACT Outdoor Grow 2025/2026

TwinkGrower This is my first time growing in Canberra, Australia. I’m going to track my progress using this platform. I’m going to make weekly updates from now until harvest. Im kinda winging it here so hopefully we get some results. Stay tuned for updates & happy growing

TwinkGrower Week 4 since Germinating seeds, Repotted in to some bigger pots and added about 10% perlite with some fresh Osmocote premium potting mix. Looking healthy and happy so far. Been watering with Hy-Gen Coco Grow added to my water I got with advice from the local hydroponics shop, So will continue to do that until around December, or when vegetation stage is up and I’ll start with the Part B of the Coco Grow. Will update again in weeks time. Keen to see how much they grow in another week in the new pots & propagation. Happy Growing

TwinkGrower Going well this week, Have doubled the nutrients to full strength now daylight savings has started and they surpassed their milk leaves leaving them mid way down the stem indicating they are no longer seedlings and now tiny little plants. Weather has been optimal for the beginning of this grow season for the seedlings, although tomorrow will be their first major challenge being rainy wet conditions in the ACT, and they are now fully outside without the glass shield I had covering them on wet days. Fingers crossed they don’t have any dramas. I also had to put a Stake in the 3rd plant as its leaves started to weigh down the plant when misting the other day, but seems to be thriving still. TwinkGrower Plants doing very well this week! Although I think after watering & Rain combined they have had a little too much to drink and that’s why I might have the yellowing on some of the tips. Have also read it could be Nutrient Burn but I don’t think it is that. Other than that, they seem to be thriving! Nice thick leaves. Looks like they could be Indica/hybrid plants. I have no idea of the strains, as they’re just random seeds I’ve accumulated from all different types of pot. But I have a couple of others growing that I think are sativa, as they’re no where near the size of these 4 and much thinner, lighter green leaves. Hoping in the next week or two, they’ll start to pre flower so I can determine sex, Until then I have my fingers crossed. Happy Growing all!

TwinkGrower 5 weeks - Doing Well

TwinkGrower Week 6 of Veg and we’re getting to the exciting bits, We have come to 5 Nodes this week, so I have topped all 4 of them and pruned the lower leafs to push the energy into making the new colas as advised. They’re coming along as well as can be expected from the crappy weather we’ve had lately. Will continue with weekly updates for anyone tracking my journey! Happy Growing all!

TwinkGrower 7 weeks into veg, and we’re finally starting to take off! After topping and pruning, and some decent weather, They are looking very happy. And not getting my hope completely up, but from all research and what I can tell from some of the tiny pre flowers, they all look to be showing female traits, but I could be wrong. Haven’t had to water them much due to rain but I will give them a nutrient feed this afternoon after they’ve taken in some of the moisture from the rain. TwinkGrower Week 8 Seem to be happy and going well so far 🙂

TwinkGrower So I put them in the ground on Monday, And they’re doing fine! Still can’t tell the sex yet so will keep waiting to see signs, will be going to the local Hydroponics shop for advice for more nutrients as I’ve ran out. But over all am happy with their progress so far, and keen to see how they do now they’re in the ground. Happy Growing All!

TwinkGrower Week 10! Growing fast now! Still using veg nutes as advised from hydro shop guy. Still unable to determine sex but hoping will show some signs soon. Keen to see how they go from here 🙂
