First Purple Lemonade 🍋

Professor_Little Not much to report — had to dial down the light a bit after noticing some slight tip yellowing. The plant’s looking happy now. Just regular watering with small doses of dechlorinated water.

Professor_Little Never thought she’d blow up this fast! 🌱 I just give her a drink whenever the soil dries out, using plain dechlorinated water. She’s basically on autopilot right now 😎 Little bit smaller then Queen next to her

Professor_Little Well, that didn’t go as planned 😅 — snapped a branch while doing LST, so I guess it turned into an unplanned supercrop session. At least I’m learning something new from my mistakes. Other than that, this strain’s super bushy — gonna need to step up my LST game next time.

Professor_Little This week I had to do some defol — bud sites are swelling up, but I’m a bit worried about powdery mildew. Gave her a nice trim, airflow’s much better now. We’ll see how she bounces back.

Professor_Little Looks like she ran outta nutes, leaves are showing some deficiency signs. So I started feeding her with a diluted mix I normally use for my bigger girl in bloom — around 500 PPM. Let’s see if she bounces back. Honestly, I’m not a fan of growing in soil… but that’s probably ‘cause I don’t fully get it yet. You gotta stay on top of things and fix issues as they come. In coco? It’s pretty much autopilot.

Professor_Little This was her last feed. Trichs are looking mostly cloudy now, so I’m switching to plain dechlorinated water. I’ll run a 10-day flush before chop. I have to say she smells amazing — light citrus tones. I love it.

Professor_Little This week, the plant is showing a worsening nutrient deficiency, likely Calcium and Magnesium. I administered a dose of CalMag to try and halt its progression. Some of the lower leaves have fallen off, and I removed a few others myself. The trichomes are mostly cloudy with a small portion of amber. I have decided to harvest her now to avoid risking any further complications.

Professor_Little Well, it was my first harvest ever and quite a journey. I dried the plant in a tent, starting at 65% RH and gradually lowering it to 55%. The drying took 9 days. I did the snap test and it showed the buds weren’t ready, but I harvested anyway. Once I put them into the jar, the RH settled around 55%. It seems I can’t fully rely on the test and have to trust my nose instead.
