Keep it simple bro. Understand what you are realistically capable of growing. Then next understand this is a grown mans game and you gotta pay to play my boy. Do not I repeat NEVER... EVER, EVER take the cheap way out on essentials(I will elaborate later), its better to wait until you can put out the bread for the good stuff or what the community is saying works. Now I was gonna make this short and sweet and just wish you lucc kid but Im feeling a lil spacey now lol. So here goes.....Let me explain my first parable my"Pay to Play" Genetics are key and good seeds cost my brother, You simply just cant grow top shelf bud that you yourself are gonna want to smoke over what your getting at your dispensary or budman. At that point it was all just a waste of time, money and energy that could be used else where. Do a little research and you will quiccly see the big dogs. I personally like going to seedbanks cause they normally ship faster than dealing direct and come with germination guarantees if you feel like going through all that to replace the ones that don't sprout, on top of that they normally have the popular breeders too with the same guarantee. However be prepared to spend 12-20 dollars a seed with it being cheaper the more you buy. Just start with a 3 or 5 pack. Growing anything you found in some smoke 11/10 will be some mids LMAO Onto my second Rule "Never Cheap out on Essentials" Let me list Essentials to make it clear... 1.Genetics 2.Light 3.Light 4.Soil/hydro Set up(growing for you=soil, growing for profit=hydro) 5.PH water meter(only if doing hydro) 6.Lighting These are things you just want to go a head and pay up for, everything else will be up to how much work you want to actually do in your grow routinely. If you did not get the message Lighting is super important and is the reason most ppl end up with ounces of mids instead of the frosty stuff they saw on youtube. Now to pull it all together if you want top shelf buds your start up total with out getting a tent is about 225. 50-seeds Spiderfarmer light with lm301h evo diodes-90(amazon) The rest you will need for nutes. Build your own living soil. (nothing miracle grow brand) And expect to upgrade that light in about 6 weeks for flowering as its perfect for veging 2 plants but not enough for flowering unless you are only doing one plant. I personally sticc with spider for my lights. Just love the performance for the price imho. Now if you got a couple bag seeds and want to pop them go head brother just dont put too much money into equipment unless you plan on getting good genetics next run. Not a bad idea either to get a little experience. However i said alll that just to tie it bacc to my opening statement keep it simple and understand what you can grow REALISTICALLY. I was just laying the foundation to grow top shelf stuff however your inexperience will have your first harvest be mids if you even make it that far. Dont give up cause man smoking that top shelf shit that you grew your self is the best feeling in the world. You will get there too if you sticc with it and your not an idiot. But yea my 1st grow ruined, second grow was just bad, 3rd grow was the worst, last year i finally got it all dialed in with future #1 from Amnesia after years of trial and error. Dont be like me and give up only to just come bacc. We all gotta start some where!!!! Hope this helped, GOOD LUCC AND MAY GOD BE IN YOU FAVOR.

ChrisNbran Well they have really started to stretch I had to defoliate a little cause some big leafs were covering a lot of spots so it wasn’t getting any light I still been doing the LST everyday it seems like I have to adjust the stakes cause they grow out of the spot I’ve staked them down to the one I topped bounced back and have grown three new colas where it was topped the other one I just tied down and spread it out as best I could next time I’m gonna have fabric pots I also upd the nutrients and started the aggressive vegetative stage feeding according to the general hydro nutrient schedule no burns or bad effects so far see yall next week

@ChrisNbran, Nice man. Looks like you're doing good. They got a nice bushy structure. I suggest doing a lot of leaf tucking with the auto's. to expose lower bud sites. So far my results have been good and the little ones are really catching up.

yea I’ve done a lot of that but there have been a couple big leaves I’ve clipped off cause there just wasn’t no tucking them they are in pre flower now couple days and I’m pretty sure they’ll be full blown flower when everyone talks about the stretch when does that happen and how much do they actually grow I’m assuming that it’s when they start flowering so that’s what I’m prepared for as far as light height and watering

@ChrisNbran, Nice man. This is also my first grow so we are in the same boat. My plants are currently 37 days old and stretch started around day 28-29. Plants are still stretching now. Mine are pretty bushy and have grown around 20 cm (9-ish inches) so far. They will probably go for at least another 10 cm (4-ish inches) looks like. But yeah you will see that your plants start making those pistils/white hairs. That will tell they are about to stretch/just started. One of my plants started stretching before it showed the hairs though. Watering increased a lot over the stretch. I was watering like 0,5 L per 3 days before. Now im doing about 2L. Basically have to add 0,5L to every 2nd watering.

@TangerineDre4m, yea mine are around the age maybe a week younger how big are your pots and what was you saying about watering you water every two days I have been going about 3 times a week how often do you use nutrients I been feeding them every watering and I haven’t had any bite burns so far these two autos are really just a first grow breaking the ice getting the feel for it and learning experience they are for sure bout to flower tho the lil hairs are starting to show and one of them seems like it’s bigger every time I look in the tent so it’s for sure stretching I’m at work but when I get home I’ll send you pics since we are about the same stages of our grows well chop them together bro

@ChrisNbran, Pots are 20L/5 gal. Yeah I was just saying that watering increased really quickly with the stretch. I water when I feel my soil is almost dry. So that would take 3 days usually but when they started stretching I was noticing it happened after 2 days and I had to water more to get it to stay moist for 3 days. For nutrients, I don't use any. Just some epsom salt for Mg. I put everything in my soil beforehand. Sounds your plants are definitely stretching. Looking forward to your update. Will be cool to harvest our first ever grows around the same time man. First grow is definitely just building a lot of experience. Good process.

it’s for sure a learning experience I have a strawberry gorilla and a apple stredel that are a couple weeks younger and just as big as my first two plants it’s crazy how much different they are as far as size I’m for sure going to have to get me some bigger fabric pots next time
