Germination
10mo ago
MyLittleGarden_XoXo The plants were germinated in cloth on 09/29/25 and then placed in peat cubes. Now they are in the final 1.8L pots. I might go for slightly larger ones later. At first, they were under 3x Osram 6500k with 1521 lumens. Now, since 09/02/25, they are under 5 pieces with a 12cm distance. Watered lightly. Humidity is unfortunately a bit low at 35-50%. Number 1 looks super. And Number 2 is a bit wavy; hopefully, it will grow out of it. The two PC fans above the lamps are running at 5v and about 300rpm. I think they move together 30m3/h-50m3/h (one alone is rated at 90m3/h at 12v). Maybe reduce to one at 5v? Fresh air is only passive. Inside, there is a mini 50mm fan at 12v for air circulation. Temperature: 24.2C Humidity 39.3%. PC size approximately: 21x40x40cm

MyLittleGarden_XoXo Here are a few new photos again. No. 1 is developing very well! No. 2 is still growing a bit weird, could that be a problem with the RQS genetics (I definitely sent an email to RQS)?

MyLittleGarden_XoXo Nr. 1 Looks super. Since they are quite close to 6500k LEDs, they have stayed wonderfully small so far, which is perfect for the PC. Nr. 2 Still has a very strange growth pattern, I think it might be bad genetics or a minor injury to the taproot. I've already contacted RQS and will be getting a replacement seed sent to me. Since Nr. 2 looks healthy in color and I find the slow/small growth advantageous, I’ll keep her. • Changed the light schedule from 20/4 ➡️ 18/6 • Every 2-3 days 150ml of tap water per plant. After watering, the humidity rises by 10-15% for 1.5 days. • As soon as I see the first shoots, I’ll start with LTS. I will make holes in the pot edge and tie them down there. I will definitely top the healthy one, and only the twisted one if it allows it. • Max 1.5-2 weeks left, then it’s time for flowering.

MyLittleGarden_XoXo The plants are growing quite well. Both were moved further away from the light and the red spectrum was increased so they stretch more, now there are: 3x Osram 6500K 1521 Lumen 11w 2x Phillips 2700k 1521 Lumen 10.5w In the box. A 120mm PC fan (running at 5v) was added for air circulation. The normally washed plant was topped and tied down. The plant with the weird growth, maybe it was once bent or has a genetic defect, somehow has 2 main stems and is growing very strongly horizontally. Here just a bit of light LST. I might build a mini ScrOG net in the tent, just for fun 🤩 The plants get 200-300ml of water every 3-4 days. During the last watering, there was 1ml of universal fertilizer NPK 8-3-6. During the next watering, there will be a bit of CalMag. Flowering starts in the next 5 days.

MyLittleGarden_XoXo Since I got a 60x60cm box and a stronger COB LED super cheap, I only use the PC for the first 3-4 weeks for seedlings. Then I try to grow them in the 120 box to a height of 40-55cm. Speedy Chile: Now they are in the big box and in 9l pots. When repotting, I watered with 0.75l to properly moisten the whole pot. The leaves are still hanging a bit, but everything should be standing again by tomorrow. One of the plants has a deficiency, so I'm now giving 0.3ml Calmag per liter, no fertilizer for now. LST will continue when they are in stretch. I will switch them to 12/12 in the next 3-5 days. Wild Thai Auto: To fill the big tent, I also have two Wild Thai Autos from the somewhat dubious Seedsupplier.de shop (free seeds, just pay for shipping). I'm curious; I've heard mixed things about them. I definitely assume they are white-label/rebred seeds. I hope one of the two makes it; both have germinated. I'll do a second grow report for them on my page. Big box: 20-23C 40-50% RH

MyLittleGarden_XoXo The plants were sent into flowering after about 25-30 days of the vegetative phase on 11/01. On 11/03, I watered for the first time with Bio Bloom: 2.2L water 1ml BioBizz Bio-Bloom 0.6ml BioBizz CalMag LST was adjusted again so that the plants remain about 20cm tall; without it, they would definitely be more like 25-30cm. Just before the flowering phase, I lightly defoliated.

MyLittleGarden_XoXo So far, everything has been great and my setup is now 90% complete. I've opened up the LST on both plants and keep tucking them under the scrog net whenever they are 4-7cm above it. Both have a lot of foliage, so I’m going to do a bit of defoliation from the bottom now and later remove everything under the net. Light distance and watering amount remain the same, nutrients have been slightly increased: 2l every 3-4 days 4 days ago 2l + 2ml Bio-Bloom + 0.6ml CalMag (EC 0.4, pH 6.4) Yesterday 13.11.25 2l + 3ml Bio-Bloom + 1ml CalMag (EC 0.6 pH 6.4) Both have clearly shown their sex and are now starting to pre-flower; I hope they stretch a bit more. Change to the setup: The exhaust has now been replaced with a 180m3/h duct fan with about 2m of ducting. Both boxes are connected to the fan: Air is drawn through Box 1 (mini box for seedlings/mini grow) into Box 2 (60x60x120cm) and then expelled through the fan next to the tent. For the fan, I built a wooden box with foam soundproofing. It runs super quietly!

MyLittleGarden_XoXo Tucking is done, now you can let the plants grow upwards. I'm at BT19 today and did a final defoliation. The bottom quarter is completely clear, and I took off a few leaves at the top that were blocking light and 2-3 branches. I water about 2x a week, 2 liters per plant each time. This time with 2ml/l Bio-Bloom and 0.7ml/l CalMag. The Speedy Chile are doing well, although a bit messy. The buds are starting to form nicely, and from next week I'll be increasing CalMag and Bio-Bloom. In the second picture, you can see the layout: Blue Speedy Chile 1 Orange Speedy Chile 2 (Had a weird growth at first but is looking nicer now) Red Wild Thai Auto (in another report!)

MyLittleGarden_XoXo Final position in the net and the flowering has fully started. Today is BT26. So far, everything remains the same, 2L every 3-4 days. pH at 6.4 and EC at 0.85. So far, they are taking up the nutrients very well, no signs of over-fertilization or deficiencies. Tomorrow I will use nematodes when watering and give Gen200 Control so the plant gets silica (I received this as a product sample).

MyLittleGarden_XoXo The buds are starting to get thicker. Unfortunately, a slight deficiency is also beginning. I think the substrate is no longer in the perfect pH range, which is why nutrient uptake isn't working perfectly. I'm now trying to give pH-regulated water and lower the pH level in the soil a bit. Otherwise, everything is great.

MyLittleGarden_XoXo I removed the net this week because I had/have deficiencies combined with light stress. That's why I repositioned them and tied them down again and raised the light. Since then, they are improving and the deficiencies are not progressing. One is getting mineral nutrients and the other is with Bio Bizz. Mineral: 3-6-6 + CalMag EC 1.5 and pH adjusted to 6.4. The other one got Bio Grow 3.5ml/l + Bio Bloom 3.5ml/l + CalMag 2.5ml/l. pH 6.4
