Homegrown_Mary Hi everybody!, to those who know me you've guessed right i am back!!! I run out of weed from the previous harvest so i need to grow once again my medicine.
This time i am happy to announce that i have a small upgrade since i equipped myself with both veg and flowering nutrients, which means when i am into flowering i wont have to feed her with just 20-20-20 fert!!
I am looking forward to yet another great season of growing. I hope i will make you all proud with this new grow! :)
I will start counting days and weeks once she grows her first pair of leaves (not the embryonic ones)

Homegrown_Mary Last week i didn't post many photographs of her since growth is minimal but contrary to the norm i started LSTing early on from day 3.
So far she has developed 2 notes, and i am keeping her low on the ground! :)
Here is something that i have spotted in this growth as well i know its not bad but i m trying to understand why its happening. Like my previous growth the very first 2 notes always turn yellow on the tips. Why? P.S. Soil is brand new out of the package.
Could be a little nute burn. The new growth looks good though, I put about a cup of seed starter or non fertilized soil mix in the middle of the pot to put the seed in until the roots and seedling are larger.
Homegrown_Mary Week 3 is here, this lady grows a bit on the slow side but as long as she grows healthy i don't mind it. The weather here though is getting hotter by the day and it feels like that soon she will need air conditioning to keep the temperature controlled for her! Anyhow i am looking forward to a good week of growing! :)
Day 16 and i am lsting her really hard, so far she has been bouncing back like a champ! :)
Day 18 the LSTing is starting to pay of, 3 sub colas have started developing already! :)
Day 21 I am facing a minor issue of leaves clawing! I am not quite sure what causes it, i am trying a couple of things in hope that it won't get worse! :)

Homegrown_Mary I have been pretty busy so for the last 6 days there was no footage. But Today on day 30 i implemented some heavy LSTing in order to give light to all the sub colas she has created so far, and if i am not mistaken i counted 14 sub colas plus 1 the main one!! Also her pistils are up and she is getting horny! I am expecting another 2-3 weeks of vegetation and then we enter flowering! Hope you all like her process so far!
Out of the three grows operations i have done this is the most extreme LSTing i have ever done and i am really happy it works well so far without any injuries!!
Day 31: Today she turns officially 1 month old and dear lord she grows so fast that i want to cry from joy. Also as you see she has bounced back in less than 24 hours from her LSTing, She really gets over fast the pain of the yoga classes. I should LST her some more but i m too lazy to do so today so tomorrow i' ll give her a little bit of exercise because we all know little exercise a day makes the difference between small and big yields, see ya girls and boys soon! :)
My last comment about my little girl is that it seems like the soil she is in still has quite some nutrients in excess so i will avoid giving her anything other than water until i see signs of deficiencies (macro), for micro deficiencies i still don't have much to offer her so she will have to suffer on that micro stuff which is really unfortunate (Companies that do have such nutrients PLEASE SPONSOR ME WITH WHAT MY BABY NEED <3 LOVE YOU <3) lol.
Day 32: Some more LSTing was applied today! Also applied for the first time on this grow some defoliation by cutting a couple of leaves that shaded a couple of colas!

Homegrown_Mary Its that time once again. We have officially entered the flowering stage. Pistils are all over!!! She doesn't need any feeding yet so we will have to wait a little bit longer for that!!
12 hours into the first week of flowering and i have applied some more LSTing to keep her down on her knees! Also i have made some selective defoliation on leaves that actually didn't get any light and were dying slowly but surely, so there wasn't any real reason as to why they were needed!
A little bit more about why i don't add nutrients yet in the mix is simply because from the start of the growth up until now i still get new growth with burnt up tips which to me means nutrient burn because of the soil mix. If any of the master growers disagree with my diagnose please do let me know as to what you think it may be.
Lastly, a bit out of content, i know that so far i hold the record for hindu kush automatic by sensi seeds in regard to the amount harvested. This time i am looking forward to break my own record since no one so far could!
DAY 38: So.... Today i did some really heavy LSTing from 18cm on height she is now back in just over 10cm!!!!! She is 10 cm in height now and with over 25 colas (to be honest i lost count after the first 15 xD). I have spotted that the brand new growth of yesterday and today doesn't have any burnt tips which is a good sign finally after 38 days!!! Honestly, i feel that this is going to be such an amazing grow operation!! Lastly, i realized that i not only do LST but also HST since many of the stems are bend over 90 degrees! xD
DAY 39: Todays menu had a little bit of everything, a little of LSTing, a couple of HSTs, and a very selective defoliation on super under developed colas hiding literally on the ground. I measured at least 25 colas from half the plant and i believe the total amount should be around 40-50 colas on a plant that is not taller than 10cm! LOL!!!!
I say just one thing, the main cola is not anymore the tallest cola, this is enough to understand how heavy my sexy baby has trained so far! No struggle, No gain!!!!
Here is a question for the masters of ganja!! Do you believe the fact that i keep her height as low as 10cm can turn against me in terms of lower harvest or any other issues?? Drop me your thoughts, please!! <3 xx
Homegrown_Mary New week, More pistils! oh and some fert!
Day 46 we are in the middle of the week and i have uploaded some clean pictures for those who like them that way! More LSTing, has happened along with some defoliation! As you see she has grown to be a really bushy plant. Also, so far, in this week she has stressed quite a lot but no worries since i working on her to keep her as low as possible! :)
Day 49 At the beginning of the week i fed her with a bit of nutrients which you can find above in the Nutrients section of the diary. During the week she has stretched remarkably with some colas stretching as much as 3-4cm higher! Also i think i have mentioned it in the early stages of the library, but i want you to know that even though the power of my light is at 320W i only use this time around half of that so in reality my plant is growing under 160W. Further more, i continued today the LSTing on her and applied once again some selective defoliation and cut down another couple of mini colas that were underdeveloped compared to the rest. Lastly, i have spotted today the very first trichromes developing in a number of leaves and some baby buds! Over all i m so happy about this grow op. Looking forward to next week which will be starting tomorrow!

Homegrown_Mary So week 8 is here!!! Its amazing how fast they grow. On the first day she was up she needed water almost once a week, now she needs water every second day!!! Week 8, started with (you must know by now with what!!!) more LSTing. As you can see from one of the picture there is one stem (not that the others aren't) that is bent in all sorts of ways, i could have cut it down because of how stretched it is but i left it on instead for my own amusement as to how it now looks! Its crazy, but yesterday it had a few trichromes and 24 hours later the trichromes have triple multiplied.
No more nutrients in this week, since i don't see any reason why she would need some! It feels like she is going to be a strong competitor of my last grow both quality and quantity wise!
More to come as week 8 progresses!
p.s. I took a picture of my thump in front of her in order to show you how cute and small i make her be (just like me!). xD
Day 55 By the end of this week i have given her a little bit more of the flowering nutrients not because she needed it that much but just to be safe! I have also defoliated her and cut down a couple of sub-colas that had bigger stem rather than actual flower and leaves! Looking gorgeous so far, with a lot of colas and many trichromes being under development and an amazing smell!

Homegrown_Mary So far she has been growing really well and at a normal pace. Pretty happy so far, by the last day of week 8 i had cut down all colas that didn't have trichromes yet, so that she concentrate on the colas that matter! Looking forward to this new week and bud creation to go full scale!
Only issue i have is temperatures down south go as high as 40 degrees making it too hot outside and in return inside gets warm too, and I try to keep air conditioning on during the warmest hours.
Day 59 - By now defoliation happens daily, LSTing has come to an end, no more space but also the stems are now woody so no space or steps are capable for any more of LST. Trichromes on a beautiful lady makes me happy!

Homegrown_Mary New week, and we are getting closer to the end! What a nice diary this was! I managed to put into action all i learnt in the previous 2 grows and i have come up with a plant that has more colas, and its colas seem like they will be more potent than before! I fed her some more flowering nutrients for good measure and i m looking forward to a great week.
I have also cut down a couple of more colas that spent more time developing stems rather materials and now she look perfect for my skills!

Homegrown_Mary Week 11 has just started! This week i won't be adding any more nutrients and let her consume what was added the previous week Buds are starting to fatten up and she is full of trichromes. I will try to add more pictures during the week.
Due to some unforeseen circumstances i am updating once a week, and two at best! I have to say she is growing well and happy, she finally started fattening up her flowers! I have also added her flowering nutrients during the end of the week to help her boost her performance! :)
Her flowering nutrients are 14-6-23!

Homegrown_Mary This girl is fattening by the day! So far so good, nothing much i can say more! I see her growing and i cannot wait for the end result! :)
Maybe i cut every day a little bit and taste test her! xD
DAY 84 - Yet another week is over, i m cutting daily colas underneath the canopy so that she focuses on the upper colas! So far the taste tests are all great, very strong stoned feeling! :) I hope she is ready in the next two weeks.

Homegrown_Mary This little lady is moving toward the end of her cycle, i couldn't be more happy. She has so many trichromes everywhere. She is fattening up like there is no tomorrow. The spell is out of this world. Since we have entered week 8 of flowering i will try not to give any more nutrients and let her consume what she has inside. If there is a need to add any more nutrients i will do! :)
on day 88 i have added a number of support sticks, in order to keep the stems as vertical straight as possible because the flowers are getting fatter more than what the skinny stems can handle but also i had my light system drop on them by me flipping on the wire. Nothing was hurt majorly other than two stems being bend to a harsh angle! Now all should be good.
As i said earlier, no more nutrients will be added at this point, since i think she will be ready in about 15 days! :)
I have measured out the space she is in, along with her canopy size. If you are interested to understand her actual size and the space she is growing in, this will come in handy! :)

Homegrown_Mary sometimes.... things.. dont work the way you had planned... Its with big grief that i announce you that i have cut it down at least 2 weeks earlier than what she needed in order to be ready... for personal reasons, i had to take this decision, at the time of her harvest day 90, she was a very happy plant, in full fattening up mode. I am truly sorry for letting down in this way, those who were following me along this journey. To you my friend, I am sorry for letting you down, I hope you will understand. Going down this third diary, i had learnt a lot, i managed to master my skills growing in a tiny space. I have taken my skills of LSTing far from where i had started, with over 50 stems at the time of harvest. With canopy volume to be 0.02304m^3 inside an available space of 0.050688m^3. I learnt how to balance out the two available nutrient that i had, with an effect on trichromes be significantly increased from the previous grow.
On this grow i learnt HSTing, something that i want to implement on future grows.
In regard with the harvest after applying wet trimming, the final wet weight was 220 grams.
Closing down, i don't know when the next diary will come, i am taking a long break until i figure out some things with my life!
Until then, I wish you to have happy growing!
p..s. I will try to make some visits on your diaries while i will have a break.
Nice tight bud structure for day 57! Awesome colors too.
My first auto (the one Iβm doing now) was started in a solo cup, be careful though because they can get root bound really quick, 3 weeks and they need to be transplanted.
My 2nd grow I am doing them directly in there forever home of a 5gal fabric pot. If you havenβt tried fabric I would highly recommend it.
