She started sprouting on 4/20 (lol) end of week she’s looking good not too stretchy considering it’s a windowsill/small greenhouse grow in UK spring time. Watering every other day (or when needed) with regular tap water. Will start to check PH next week when I start feeding nutrients. On really overcast and rainy days I keep a 40watt LED above it in the late afternoon/evening to help the little lady get some extra light.

I live in a terraced house facing East so my front windows get the am sunshine and my garden and rear windows get the pm. When she is old enough I will move her into the greenhouse and she will get about 4/5 hours of direct sunlight. Is this sufficient for an autoflower?

Hello ! sufficient for what ? your plant will grow but the final result surely will be poor too (yield and quality) ! considering that the am sun is more blue (ideal to grow and later to devellop buds) an the pm sun is more red (to simplify more trics and terps) and considering with auto that longer you have sun better will be the final result…. you know now what you have to do if you want a proper result 😉 🙏

Ordered the nutrients and ph down didn’t arrive till mid week so first feed was on Friday 3rd May. Keeping the water oh level at about 6.5. Going to be using the BioBizz grow/bloom/topmax pack starting off with Grow. Considering it’s not under any big lamps it’s mainly getting its light from the sun (been very overcast the last week with only a few sunny times) it’s looking ok in my eyes. I will continue to keep it under a 40watt lamp in the evenings until it’s bigger to go outside in my greenhouse when the sun is out more.

This week I can see the plant growing much quicker might be something to do with the biogrow I started adding last week! I have upgraded the 40w LED bulb to a clip on 80w grow light. Just to keep the light up before I keep it outdoors in the little greenhouse when the suns out more. She doesn’t get watered much, probably one or twice a week as the sun hasn’t been out much. She doesn’t seem to be showing any deficiency signs in my eyes however this is my first ever grow so I could be wrong. As I’ve stated before I’m not concerned about maximising the yield at all this grow I’m just learning and enjoying the journey!

The leaf damage happened from what I though was a dead insect or remnants of bird poo which I tried rubbing off and beefed up making a hole in the leaf. The plants shooting up up now and only giving her natural sunlight from my little garden greenhouse and windowsill. At night and on overcast days I will put the 60w LED grow light on her but the weather has been a bit better this week so have rarely used it. Upped the BioBizz grow to 2ml per litre and keep the water at around 6.5pH. Feeding her a litre at a time when the top inch of soil is dried out (works out around every 4 days or so) last time I fed her there was a noticeably less amount of water/nutrient run off so I’ll up the volume when there’s no run off. Smell is becoming more and more apparent and slight preflowering signs are showing, I can see white pistils growing 🙌 I’ll start adding Bloom and Top Max to the feed once it starts flowering properly

Pre flowering is showing more and more by the day! The smell is getting more and more intense which is awesome. I upped the biobizz grow to 4ml. Will start adding biobizz bloom when it’s fully starting to flower. I’ve heard some bad reviews about biobizz top max so I probably won’t run with it this grow (a lot of people say it gives the plant a liquorice taste which puts me off using it) No visible problems with the plant so far it’s growing very nicely! More leaves are popping up every day and it’s almost doubled in size since last week!

Full flowering is almost here, I can see where the buds are just about to start forming, will wait until I see them properly starting to grow before I start adding the BioBizz Bloom. The weather has been hit and miss with warm temps but overcast and cloudy skies and patches of rain. The plant makes the most the sun it can from the windowsill and garden, hopefully the sun is out more for flowering! Her height is pretty much at what RQS state (60cm) however I know it will keep getting taller in its stretch flowering phase which is fine by me!

I have noticed a few tiny black flies chilling by where the buds start to form. Is this a major problem?

Hi there mate it is fairly hard to say whether these bugs are a threat with only that bit of info to identify them But what you can do is be proactive and apply a foliar type insecticide or even neem oil now whilst in the early flowering stage. You can also use some diatomaceous earth sprinkled around your plant it also keeps the crawling bugs away. Hope I chave helped cheers

Flowering has started and I can see the buds starting to form! I also started giving her some flowering nutrients. I’m using the BioBizz range and it says to use BioBizz Grow even through flowering so instead of giving her the full 4ml grow I’m lowering it to 2ml whilst adding the Bloom and Top Max. The weather has been atrocious, monsoon type rain in June is beyond me but you can only piss with the cock you got so have to make do. Hope the weather clears up soon!

She’s coming along nicely. Not as pungent smelling as I thought she would be but I guess the smell will get stronger as the weeks go by. I believe she has is coming to the end of her height growth which suits me as she can focus growing fat buds instead :) Decided to up the nutrients to 4ml grow 4ml bloom and 2ml topmax and she doesn’t seem to be getting any nutrient burn or deficiencies which is a good sign. The weather in the UK has be atrocious, you wouldn’t think it was June the amount of rain we’ve had so she’s spent a lot of time in the cramped greenhouse but she doesn’t seem to have damaged her! Hopefully the sun is out more in her last weeks!

Buds are getting fatter! Starting to smell a bit more and I can notice the trichomes are coming in. The smell is like a citrus cannabis smell which is already amazing now so the finished product will be even better! The sun has been a bit more consistent but still overcast a lot lately! I have noticed even more discolouration on some leaves which I suspect was nute burn so the last feed was just pH treated water. There are brown spots on some leaves (not many spots and not many leaves are affected) also pale dots and some even dried and wrinkled but the majority are fine so no worrying too much about her.

By the looks of it I think it’s coming close to harvest, quite a few of the pistils are tuning amber and the trichomes are looking more milky. I don’t have a magnifying glass so can’t tell for sure but it looks like harvest is only a week or two away. I have taken full advantage of this sun we are having and have gone against the holy bible of autoflower a by defoliating a few of the large fan leaves to get sunlight to the lower bud sites. I have also stopped feeding nutrients just ph treated water (~6.5pH) I started with a flush and every two days or so when the top soil has dried up I give her a good amount of water. Any pointers as to when she would be ready to harvest will be great as this is my first ever grow and would t want to mess everything up now! The smell isn’t as strong as I thought it would be, I was expecting to be able to smell it a mile off but only really get a good whiff of you put your nose close to it (not exactly a bad thing considering the urban location I live in) She smells very lemony with a kick of a typical weed smell, looking forward to harvest, drying and curing her!

Thought it was close last week however more research shows she’s still got a few more weeks left. I have started flushing and will only feed her pH 6.5 water. Hopefully two weeks tine she will be ready to chop! The top buds are looking nice with the white pistils changing amber but the lower most popcorn buds aren’t changing or fattening up. The smell is starting to get stronger, can really smell her when I step into the garden.

Getting closer to harvest I reckon, more pistils are turning orange. The bottom most tiny popcorn bugs are t fattening up or have any trichomes growing so they’ll end up on the trimming pile after harvest. She’s only being fed pH water at the moment and a few fan leaves have shrivelled off which I’ve removed. I noticed some of her side branches were sagging so I’ve supported them with a bit of twine to the main stem to prevent them being snapped off. Weather is definitely not the summer I was expecting but considering she is a windowsill/outdoor plant she’s grown tremendously! Gonna give her another week with just pH water to flush the plant completely and then harvest.

This was the last week of grow! I didn’t water her for the last 4-5 days as I have chopped her and started the drying process. I removed the fan leaves and hung the buds upside down in my ghetto homemade dry box! Once they have fully dried I will do the final trim, cure them and weigh for the final harvest post!

I couldn’t believe how easy it was to grow this strain, even being called Easy Bud I thought there would still be complications but no! Germination was quick and it sprouted well. Through veg and flowering she kept overcoming the environment issues (poor lighting inconsistent weather) to procldice just shy of an ounce of decent smelling and tasting bud. The harvest went well I trimmed the side branches off and the main cola and did some wet trimming removing the fan leaves. Once the wet trimming was complete I hung them in my ghetto homemade dry box and after 6 days they felt ready to be smoked/cured. I put them in the Kilner mason jar and are now set into the curing process. I have had a few joints from it and it’s very smooth, slight sweet citrus taste with an earthy aftertaste which goes really well together.
