EazyRider This started out as a test on re-using the eazyplug. It had a full size plant grown in it and only a small hole was left, the seed was germinated in a small eazyplug and then transferred to the pyramid and bits of plug were used to fill the hole. The original plan was to put the plug on the rack and maybe have the roots grow down or something.

EazyRider This started as a test re-using the Eazyplug, but now I have extended the test to make a kind of manual auto pot. I have removed the wire rack and the pyramid is sitting directly on the stones but an inch below the surface. There is a small drain hole on the side that is below the bottom of the pyramid. At the moment I add a couple of litres of nutes, then I drain it immediately by tilting. Later I will be able to leave the nutrient to be fully absorbed. So far this plant is growing well, it's only day 14 and she looks very solid. I was able to top on d14 at the 3rd node and I have removed the first node. So there will be four branches, I don't want to do too much for this test.

EazyRider Quite vigorous growth this week, I have clipped the branches back but I'm not sure what I want to do with her yet. A new addition to the tub is a black pipe that I can insert a glass straw into in order to check the water level. This is not an issue at the moment as I am refilling and draining every day to keep the stones wet and also to bring in fresh oxygen.

EazyRider Shape is very pretty and symmetrical, growing well, roots are not developing as much as I thought but then there's only four branches.

EazyRider I have let the branches grow back up to keep her compact. Everything working better than expected so far. Plenty of defoliation.

EazyRider Starting to get chunky with a nice lime smell. I have not paid a lot of attention to this one but she's doing fine, should looks pretty when the leaves begin to die off. I have done a lot of defoliating, and might need a bit more.

Cheers, I'll check the roots and if it all looks good I'll do one with a night owl.
