Blueberry Spider

Madd_Rez Tried to post this diary before but I was unable to edit week two, so I'm starting it over. Hoping there are no issues. Received my blueberry spider clone from Irvine seeds. Unfortunately, I don't have very much experience and she dried out fairly quickly upon arrival. Since I gave her just 6 hours to transition and not 72+. Learning curve for sure.

Madd_Rez She's not bouncing back like I'd hoped. Once again showing don't have nearly the experience with clones that I should at this point. Regardless, stripped all her leaves several days ago. Pretty much treating her like a beat up plant at this point, and I know how to fix those. Using this plant as a mother. I've only successfully cloned a few plants before and they barely succeeded. Irvine asked me to take cuts so I'm going to try.

Madd_Rez She's looking so much better - almost like a real plant! Been a slow 2 weeks but worth its weight in knowledge. Tremendous growth over the past week. Will keep her in this half quart pot for at least another week.

Madd_Rez Been a busy week! Got her moved to a 1 gal forever home. Will be taking cuttings and flowering this one shortly afterwards. Taking well to LST! Hoping to take cutting in 2 weeks.

Madd_Rez All in all the BBS is looking good. Decided to put her a heat mat to try and keep the roots warm til my tent heater arrives. Looking to take 6-8 clones from her and then flip to flower. Hoping to take them within the next week but I'm not rushing her. Already messed up plenty!

Madd_Rez Moved the BS to her own 3x3. Looks like her roots were chilly, she started growing quick as soon as she went on the heat mat. My heater has FINALLY shipped so things should be better soon! Looking to take clones of this fall at the end of the week. Not sure what I'm going to.do.about flowering yet.

Madd_Rez Took my clones today and did a defol. She's looking good and doing so much better since I put the heat mat under her. Will look to flip in 2 weeks.

Madd_Rez Things have gone great the past 2 weeks. She's responding well to LST and Ive kept a nice canopy on her. Will probably do some minor defoliation in a few days to get her prepped for flip.

Madd_Rez And flip! This gal is a bit taller than I'd like knowing shes going to stretch. I'll keep up on LST and see how at I can keep her. Really digging this Vivosun heater and the feedback you get from the grow environment. May need to look into a humidifier next.

Madd_Rez Playing musical tents! Had to move the BBS again to give the clones their own lamp. She has stretched quite a bit this past week and really filled out her branches. I've heard she stretches quite a bit so looks like we're just getting started. Switched back to Part A from Bloom.

Madd_Rez All in all she's looking great! Went a bit light on her nitrogen this last week - think I skipped a couple feedings of Part B accidentally. She'll be back to being green soon. Giving her a calcium nitrate and cal-mag foliar spray.
