Growtopus Yoooooooooo let's go, second attempt for the Seifuku. To keep it company, I'm adding two other strains. I bought Chem Cake from Paradise at Mary Jane, and I won Cookies and Cream from Ganjafarmer Seeds in a photo contest. So here we go again. I'll try to at least do a weekly update here, the other diary will be wrapping up soon with the Sour Zoda. Germination was done in a coconut plug, Living Soil will be mixed with Wizzy's garden. Root Magic and Soil Starter were added right away so the mycorrhiza can start working immediately. For the first two to three weeks, they will stay in a 1 L Roothus pot.

Growtopus The first week didn't go perfectly, but the Seifuku is already forming a lot of roots. The Cookies and Cream has made it all the way down, only the Chem Cake isn't really feeling the setup. It was a bit too warm and humid for a few days, the ventilation was set up wrong, and the air was stagnant in the tent. That has been adjusted, just like the light now has the right intensity.

Growtopus The Seifuku is really kicking into gear and wants to grow, you can really tell. The high temperature and humidity in the tent totally suit her, while the Cookies and Cream is just a bit behind. The Chem Cake doesn't look as good as the other two, but it's still steadily forming roots and has already rooted all the way down in the pot. All 3 will be planted in Living Soil with Wizzy's Garden this week, but I didn't mix it in time. The day has come, they have been repotted. The Living Soil is freshly mixed and should actually rest or work for two to three weeks according to the instructions, but I just mismanaged to mix it in time. For this, the Living Soil Quickstart Bundle is being used, but with a tray instead of a saucer.

Growtopus The three didn't find repotting all that nice, different light, lower humidity, and cooler temperatures made the adjustment quite difficult. Due to the extremely low temperatures in the last few days, I couldn't get the tent above 18 degrees. Now we're back to about 20 degrees and each plant has received around 5 liters. I think we'll see more growth in the next few days and it will get exciting again.

Growtopus We removed two leaf pairs per plant so that the shoots underneath get more light. We will repeat this method in this grow and cultivate bushy plants without topping 👍🏻 Unfortunately, I didn't manage to provide an update for week 4, and the beautiful big sails have now been removed 😂 This weekend, we'll be watering and spraying some plant whispers.

Growtopus Seofuku and Cookies and Cream have been topped. They are both a bit larger than the Chemo Cake, so we're giving this one some time to catch up. The strong light seems to be a bit too much for them. All three received the second dose of plant whispering. 1.5 g in 100 ml distributed among three plants.

Growtopus All 3 have exploded enormously and grown bigger, the plant whisper is really hitting hard 👌🏻 During the check, I noticed a few fungus gnats, so I hung up a new yellow sticky trap and watered with Neudomück to kill the larvae. With targeted defoliation, we want to make the three nice and bushy, while the Cookies and Cream is already growing very evenly and bushy. Next week, we will definitely switch to flowering, as all 3 should be ready, and it fits well with the applications from the plant whisper. C&C and Seifuku are also recovering very well from topping, and the new shoots are coming in nicely. To maintain the temperature, the SANlight was turned up by 20%, so we are now at 60% with a distance of 75 cm. Thus, the light output reaching the plants is only slightly higher than before, but the temperature remains stable above 21 °C "during the day.

Growtopus Sooooo, the light has been adjusted, so we are in the flowering stage for GrowDiaries. Let's wait and see how long it takes for the first signs to appear. All 3 are incredibly healthy, and the Chem Cake has made solid progress. The Cookies and Cream is growing unbelievably evenly, and the Seifuku is similar. We'll keep the stretch in check with training and pull everything nice and evenly. BW3 will probably be defoliated, next week we'll spray some Plant Whisper, and maybe there will be another round of Plant Booster, Weedtamine, and FertiPlus. At least if I remember.

Growtopus Everything is growing nice and evenly, and all 3 are stretching well. The Chem Cake is stretching a bit more than the other two, but it wasn't stopped either. During the day, we're now reaching 25° C, which is a great temperature. The humidity was a bit low, but the pots were completely dry. Each plant got about 5 liters, and the little bit of drain didn't fill the tray at all, so that should raise the humidity a bit again.

Growtopus It got so crowded in the tent that defoliation was absolutely necessary. Mini shoots were removed as well as many sun leaves. However, I didn't want to cut away too much area. All 3 smell minimal.

Growtopus Not quite a week since the last update, but still one more week in. The lamp is now running at 80%, and all 3 are handling the adjustment well so far. With the increased light output, the temperature has risen a bit, but it's currently perfect; humidity is a bit low. Development is on point, the smell is more associated with the leaves, and after defoliating, the remaining leaves have spread out significantly, so I'll be trimming again next week.

Growtopus The nighttime temperatures have really not been good for the Living Soil, and everything is moving pretty slowly. To ensure there are enough nutrients, each plant got about 30 g of Uni 4-3-3 from Wizzy's Garden. The box around the tent has now been completely closed again, and the exhaust is being recycled, so it should warm up a bit more permanently.

Growtopus The Seifuku really can't handle the bad VPD and low temperatures at night. I'm just glad I got them up to at least 17° C. Chem Cake from Paradise Seeds is expected to be stable and hardly gets disturbed by the circumstances, I'd say Cookies and Cream is somewhere in between. Currently, the overall situation is as expected, just like with every winter grow; the low temperatures and bad VPD are really challenging the plants. However, you can also see in the photos of Chem Cake on the Paradise Seeds page that there aren't any fat buds, but rather nice, fine ones with a lot of resin. We'll have to wait and see, there's really nothing more I can do. They probably have another 4 weeks easily. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Growtopus All 3 were slightly defoliated as they were heavily shading each other. The Seifuku looks a bit weird, but it's getting thicker, although it hardly forms any calyxes and just seems odd. The smell is faint, but present - hard to pinpoint. Chem Cake looks more like a prime example. It's also a bit slowed down by the low nighttime temperatures, but overall very nice and the main bud is developing beautifully. Cookies and Cream looks like a mini version of a sample. It sparkles full of trichomes, has a nice shape and color, but isn't quite as temperature resistant as the Chem Cake.

Growtopus There was some plant booster, sugar, and FeetiPlus 5-1-5+ for all 3 again. Overall, things are going better now thanks to the right temperatures, and especially the Chem Cake is really taking off. The Cookies and Cream, however, isn't developing much anymore and seems like it will be done soon. I also found a banana. The Seifuku is hard to assess, so I'll be using the big camera soon to see the trichomes.

Growtopus The other two were harvested because the Cookies and Cream is completely hermaphrodite, the Seifuku was ripe.
