BigBerias The seed grew a taproot after 2 days inside a moist paper towel, I planted the seed and one day later she popped out of the soil. The plant looks perfectly healthy, I can't wait to grow this strain. For now she is in a solo cup with a 50/50 mix of coco and perlite. When she's a little bigger I will transplant to a 3gal pot with 1/3 coco, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 worm castings

BigBerias There has been a nice jump in growth, she's super healthy. I give her around 450 ppfd of light. I might top her next week depending on how well the branches are developing

BigBerias The growth is amazing at this point, I topped her and removed the bottom two nodes since those weren't growing nicely compared to the nodes above. There will be 8 main shoots growing now since I tipped. My goal is to flip her to flower around week 8 or 9

BigBerias I defoliate the leaves that were blocking light from the branches, and now I'm just training her out. I hope 3-4 more weeks will be enough to flip her into flower

BigBerias I defoliate almost every week because the foliage is covering the lower growth every week. I'm going to veg her for about 2 more weeks.

BigBerias I flipped this one into flower, I'm hoping she will stretch a decent bit but also not over the top. Double the size would be nice

BigBerias The stretching phase is still going, I remove leaves every couple of days, but now since she's at week 3 of flower I will stop any defoliation and will let her ride until finish. There's a lot of tops on her, I can't wait to see the buds develop

BigBerias Last defoliation happened, I stripped more leaves than usual to see how she will respond. If I feel like this is slowing her down it will be the last time I do it this heavily but there's a good amount of light penetration and airflow going on at the moment. Trichomes are setting in as well, for now she smells very sweet with a hint of fuel but mostly just sweet. I'm hoping the fuel will come out when she matures, I'm not really looking for just sweetness, I would love some pungent gas too. And as you see on the pictures, I received my package and the new light arrived. There's a lot more coverage in the tent now and ppfd levels are more stable and spread out.

BigBerias The trichomes are setting in nicely and she's super sticky. Her smell is very fruity with a chemical burn mixed in. It's a bit hard to describe that burning or gassy smell, but to me it smells like a chemical sting like if you would sniff a bottle of iso or something. But the sweetness is very dominant.
