Welcome to my Zambeza Seeds Northern Lights XL Autoflowering diary
Doing this old school strain this time, to see what kind of goodness this strain will bring us.
Popped it in the soil a couple of days ago, today it popped out of the soil. Starting indoors, in small container for germination, will move outdoor when the weather gets better.
-- Update Day 4
Transplant to normal size container was succesfull and i think the root has found its way to the new soil, the sapling is about 10cm now
Welcome to the second week of my XL Norhern Lights by Zambeza zeeds
transplant went good, no visible delay (i repotted 2 days after germination), first two leaves have risen, now to wait for the rest to come.
better weather is coming so perhaps when this baby gets bigger it could move outdoor where there's more light and more space.
also added a picture of Zambeza seeds seed packages, they look great when you line 'm up.
I'm using a lightmix, so i will add some mineral feeding, perhaps around week 3 of flowering.
Welcome to the 4th week of the Zambeza Northern lights xl
Well, all looks great, just waiting for the first signs of flowering
added some guano to the toplayer of the soil, also prepared some guano tea.
the guano is made from bat guano and seabird guano (pelican shit and other seabirds)
Welcome to the fifth week of my zambeza Northern Lights XL diary
actually it's the beginning of week 4 now, pot is a bit bigger, and flowering didn't set yet
as we can notice, the gnats that were there in the beginning did some damage and have caused some delay
luckily the weed is a strong strain and managed to survive and is starting to look very nice.
it has some smell in it, i like it, it's the smell of dankness where it starts
Welcome to the first week of flowering of my Northern Lights XL by Zambeza seeds
we had some storm last days, it's one of the few that didn't lose or break any branches
plant is looking gorgeous
development is good
lets wait for the small buds to emerge
Welcome to my Northern Lights XL diary by Zambeza seeds
great looking plant
nice and wide development
loving the soil and bat guano
nutrients: only bat guano and pelican guano mix tea
Welcome to week 8 of my Northern Lights XL Auto diary
Did some LST, and she seems to like it very much.
Development did slow down a bit as it seems, but the plant is taking the training very well
the lower branches did grow quite a bit and are moving upwards to the light
overall performance is very good, no insects problems, also no problems with rain (yet)
Waiting for more bud development, let the plant take it's time
Welcome to my Northern Lights XL diary week 9 by Zambeza seeds
I think the LST has slowed down things a bit, but it responds very well
finally the buds are in normal development
a lot of tiny buds are becoming visible
good weather resistance, good bug resistance
some fanleaves getting yellow, i forgot to give the guano tea at evening so i did it during daytime. important lesson learned
Welcome to my Northern Lghts XL by Zambeza Seeds,
A bit slow but still alive and kicking,
untill now this plant survived:
-gnats
-heat stress
-wind stress
-spider mites
-root burn (by administring guano tea during hot daylight)
just as i said.... still alive and kicking
very strong strain, obviously.
Welcome to week 11 of my Northern Lights XL by Zambeza diary
Superstrong genetics
after that much failure, which caused a lot of delay...
this flower is looking pretty good now
Welcome to week 12 of my Northern Lights XL by Zambeza seeds diary
Looking good
read in the other weeks what she has been through
i'm impressed how the flower recoverd
60cm with some LST, it's growing in a curve, i think total central stem length is around 90cm-100cm
strong genetics
Welcome to the last week of my Norhtern Lights XL diary by Zambeza Seeds
Almost finished, just waiting for 20-30 pistils to get brown
wow, such beautifull offspring which survived that much trouble
- update
more white pistils are showing up, trichomes are clear to milky
waiting for amber or 95% brown pistils
Easy to grow, nature and ofcourse strong genetics helped this one recover from gnats, mites, heat stress, wind stress and so on, without those problems itgreat harvest anyway with some real dank Northern Light weed. Great genetics, Thanks Zambeza Seeds
