Tough week for my little gorilla girl! :-(
Nutrient burn, lollipopping and over water. I hope she will survive.
I tried a new tea with bat guano and bone meal(rich in phosphorous) and that caused some serious burn.
The buds did grow a little but they are suffering from all the late stress.
Lessons learned!
I had to stay some days away. Today is the 14th day And i have just checked my plant. There are some signs of burn. I changed the lights from 60cm to 80cm hight from the plant and added a 4 hour dark period. I Hope this works
This is the soil recipe I'm using in this grow
1 part coconut coir
1 part hummus
1/4 part perlite
Organic Fertilizers:
castor bean cake
bat guano
bone meal
wood ash
I hope this works! ๐
Hey Ho! Lets Go!๐
This is my second grow. I learned a lot in my first attempt, but the result was not good enough.
This time I hope everything goes all right, and if it doesn't please help me! ๐
My grow space is a very small home made tent, only 40cmx40cm and 1m height.
Im using Mars Pro II Epistar 80 LED Grow Light. At the moment only the Growth switch turned on, which means 81W of draw power.
My soil is basically a mix of coconut coir, humus, perlite and some organic nutrients mixed in the soil. All that in a 20 liters fabric container.
The watering is automated and approximately configured to deliver 100ml of water every 12 hours.
So far so good! ๐
My little girl has shown some sex signs this week. I can see little pistils in some nodes. ๐๐
Some leafes are presenting yellow color, I think it is due potasium deficiency.
I moved the lights closer and feed whith some liquid 10-10-10 fertilizer.
Today is the 21th day. My baby girl is developing nicely with very short internodes which is good to limit the final height, but this is overlapping the leafs and blocking the light.
As you can see in the pics, I removed 2 fan leafs to allow light in the side branches that are beginning to stretch. I hope this don't cause any harmful stress.
Today is the 18th day and I'beginning my fist LST! ๐
My lights has a veg switch for blue spectrum and a bloom switch for red spectrum.
Until now only the veg switch was on, but today I also turned on the bloom switch to promote some branches growing. Does it make sense?๐
she come on sum mate i love the way you do you updates on the comment section and you put a description in every week that cool hope your enjoying the experience good luck
@autogrower,when it's small it needs less , but you must be careful not to over water, it will stunt growth and produce funny looking plants , good luck bro ๐
Hi @@SUPimAL, I checked your Gorrilla. Nice start, i'm following you diary. I'm still learning, but I think you can beggin LST by bending the top. Good look bro!
isn't your humidity a little bit to high during this time of flowering? i am also in early flower time and mine was between 40-60 depending if light is on or off of course, but I lowered to to 40 constant by dehumidifier. it looks very good by the way :)
Hi @ReadyPlayerOne, that's a good point.
Actually I have a dehumidifier, but I wasn't using it. I will try it out.
Tks a lot bro!
By the way, that's a nice forest you are growing there! I wish I had that space! Good Job!
Massive plant mate. That nute burn also looks like it could be advanced K def as the scorching goes all up the side. You'd know best from your feeding schedule, but k def and nute burn can look similar.
