ThomFoolery 11/26 Went in water for 24 hours, and then in the soil. All except the AS cracked open. 11/28 The chocolope came up, the God berry came up... Waiting. 11/30 All four came up but the last two were a bit weak. The Strawberry Gorilla 🍓 🦍 was all fucked up. She was trying to push through and came up bent with the shell stuck to the leaves... So, I gingerly removed it with some tweezers and almost killed it. Infact I thought I did. So I put a really light pinch of soil over the almost white colored stem that was exposed and I put the dome back on. The next day she came up nice and green! All leaves open and getting stronger. The 🍎 Apple Strudel, didn't come up till the the 29th. Was small but is really making up for it. Hopefully they want be too far behind.

ThomFoolery 11/26 Starting a new run of 4 auto flowers using the SF auto watering system and Living soil. I am going with the wick fed auto water system in the hopes that it will increase yield, make my life a lot easier, and keep the plants happy and purring. I am waiting on my soil concentrate to finish curing. It's a long process that usually takes nearly 3 months, so I decided to try NLS this time. This is some rank smelling stuff man. My concentrate is a bit funcky too but not quite as profound. They make really big batches that prorbaly are a lot stronger. Mine is really good, but I'm wondering if its as good as NLS. We shall see.. I'm hoping for a mostly "just add water", a little compost tea once or twice. I saved about a pound of the NLs for this. I wanted to go 7 gal bags instead of 5 because it means a tad more soil to carry a little more food. But I packed the 5s as full as I could. I mixed in some lava rocks (1/4") and some grade#4 perlite. To battle compaction and allow me to pack on the soil. And I did.. I packed the 5gals full as f***. Might as well be 7gal because in all honesty, I put almost the same amount. But I would have ran short on the 7s. I'm hoping this round will not see me with any stunted plants. I started an extra chocolope and a blue cheese auto in case some shit goes south ... I have them in solo cups and if no one gets stunted, I'm going to see how far I can take thwm in solo cups. I'm not just going to kill them. Well, not at first anyway. 11/29 This pretty much starts week 1. They all came up on the 29th. 12/2 Well... Had to pull the Apple Strudel. It was weak and barely even standing up straight. I domed her in hopes she'd return but 10 hours later she was even worse so I pulled her and it was just a bad seed. I knew I should have started backups earlier. I do have some but haven't came up yet and they will be about a week behind, but they will fill in eventually. I just don't want to grow less than 4 different strains. I'm trying to restock and we need variety. I smoke so much that I get burned out on the same shit after a week. The backup will work be Blue Cheese Auto or another chocolope auto. I'll do another Blue Cheese run. That is some phenomenal smoke man. Makes me so happy and ready to get sit done. Surprised it still has that effect.

ThomFoolery Week 2 12/ 6 ------------- Watered: 1cup each applied in a circle about 3" from the plant. We want the roots to search for water. Next time I'll go farther out. 12/8 ----------------- Let's see.,.. Looks like they are all pretty strong. The BCA is ~8 or 9 days behind. It is what it is. Watering with pH adjusted dechlorinated tap water. Adjusting the pH is irrelevant at this point, unless it's really off. It's about 8.0 out the tap. As soon as the water meets the Rootzone it adjusts to the pH of the zone. Not the other way around so it's not realy an issue with living soil. The biology will handle the heavy lifting. 12/9 Growing very well. Especially the Godberry. Praying and everything at 2.1 sets of leaves. These could probably handle being topped, but I'm not willing to chance it. So soon I need to start bending them over. 12/13 End of the second week. They are really happy and growing well. I have not turned on the water yet. Another 2 weeks and I will. Still trying to make those roots as strong as possible they pull the water up equally. I'll have to h Keep the BCA away from the wicks till it's also ready. Should be interesting. Check out the little plant in the solo cup in the [diary](link.here).

ThomFoolery 12/15 Coldest day so far this year and these guys are chillin like it's spring. All are looking very happy and I got them while they were praying. Well, all except for the little fill in Blue cheese. This is a different looking pheno so far. The radish fell on it the other day and bent it. I am not touching it because I plan to tie these down anyway. But I hope that it wasn't too much stress for an auto flower. At least we still have 3 nice eager plants. I am raring to turn on the water works man... These bags of soil get so dry at the edges.... That reminds me, mulch!! I need to get something I can mulch the tops with. Seems like it would be beneficial. About 2" from the stem. Ok.. I found a smallish bag enough for indoor containers that is hopefully, somewhat clean of pests and Infestation. This should help the watering system as well. 12/16 Couldn't be happier with the progress these girls are making! The little straggler is even perking up. Got mid afternoon photos of them when I got up for work (their time frame) and they are all perlite and praying just basking in the sun! Now, I hope I find t just jinxyaelf but I'm impressed with this soil so far. Had one grass sprout come up. Usually a good sign. The godberry is exceptional. Very strong and I could probably top all 3 of these for but I need the yield. I'm trying to get stocked up and we need these darlings to put out. So I'll tie her over if I have to. I'm already getting a lot of growth on the sides so I may not have to. Can just super crop the cola so it lays down with the sides. We'll see. Once I get my shelves loaded I'll start to top autos. All I've had to do is water them. 12/17 It's about time to bring the wicking system online. I filled the res to let it settle and check for leaks.. again. I used Teflon tape on all the threads theast time and it seems to have fixed any minor issues. Well wait another day while I decide exactly how I'm doing this. Do I pre wet the entire contents on the bags? Or is just the top half enough? Should I add a little sledgehammer so that it breaks through faster? I have a lot of questions and I dont want any over watering to stress these plants out. They are auto flowers. So far I'm good with pre wet it all but very slowly. It's goimg to take 2 gallons or more to get all the way through... I'll donit weight and do it over several hours. 12/18 Watered last night after 6 days. They didn't need It. This batch is extremely hardy.... So far. I fired 8 cups each into the 3 largest, and 2 into the youngest. I am bringing the automatic watering system online tonight, so I wanted to make sure the entire soil column was prepped for that. So I slowly applied the water in circles only till about 2" from the stem in 2 goes. The run off was minimal just enough to wet the top of the plates when the plant was lifted so I know it wet all the soil. Then I topped them with mulch, again about 2" from the stem to allow for any off gasing that will occur with biology. They look good VPD ~0.65-0.8 temps 76-78 day, 71-73 night. Ringt now they are sitting at about 300-320 ppfd/par. It's the beginning cycle they will grow into the light so we'll probably have to move the lights up soon. I'm tryig to satisfy the entire tent. The 2 youngest are only a week behind so soon it won't even matter. 12/20 Very happy girls today. Very happy. I brought the water system online and I am using both wicks on the larger of the 3 and 1 on the smallest. Wow... I am a bit worried that 2 may be too much, so I'm being careful. Any sign of droop and I'll pull them off then revert to 1 for a couple more weeks. But damn y'all, as healthy as they look and how they are growing... They should be ok. Nothing but water. I am still cooking/curing a 13qt batch of my soil but it will take this entire grow before it's ready and the NLS is amazing. The plants tell you all you need to know. Next step... LST. More to come...

ThomFoolery Week 4 12/22 Coming along very nicely. I am doing some major tucking on the 2 that are trying to spit out their side branches. The godberry, and the chocolope were good candidates for tucking because their shots were really trying to get to the light. It took everything I had to NOT cut the huge fan leaves that were covering the shoots like umbrellas. But I was able to tuck. My hopes are the extra libit will help them to grow over the fans. Now I did fuck up and top the strawberry 🦍. I regretted it as soon as I heard the snip. The plant is super strong, I just hope it didn't stunt it, and if it didnt that there is enough time to get some decent nodes on the new tops. The SIP seems to be doing gits job and the plants are direct evidence of that. I'll definitely use this system for years to come. 12/25 Merry Christmas everyone!!! It's 6:08 am and the girls are just doing so well I can't get over it. Is it all because of the SIP? The soil? VPD? It's all of it. And they couldn't be happier. The only issues I'm having at present is it's warm here so the heater is no longer needed and this is causing my humidity to spike during lights off. Luckily, that isn't really bad at this point in their life. The VPD will go down to 0.65 if I let it and that means humidity in the upper 60s and lower 70s.. they should be fine. We aren't flowering yet. However. I am almost positive that the Blue cheese has started to flower right before week 3 and will be stunted as a result. That's ok. It really is. She is still a beautiful and happy plant and I'm just glad I got her on the roster when I did. Not to mention the extra chocolope I have on a drip line. 12/26 Bushy! The 3 are little bushes vigorous growth, lush colors, and a whole lot of tucking going on.. I can't wait to cut the bottom leaves off these things. They are thick! That makes me worry about powdery mildew. Humidity is still in the 60s in the upper 70 temps where I'm at currently. VPD is ~1.0-1.10. more on the lower end. Good airflow though.. they're dancing a little. Fucking little Blue Cheese stunted on me. Looks like a bonsai. Tiny little fan leaves and all. I'm not that upset, it's going to remind me the next time I think about growing these whiny ass autos. All n all I've grown them only 2x so I don't know what I'm talking about. I still expect 10+ ounces on this.. unless the other 3 start flowering in the next few hours. I don't want them to stretch now. They aren't stacked for shit so they need some more time. Another week and that will put them starting about 4.5 weeks. I really regret topping that strawberry gorilla so damn late... Jeez... She can still pull out. She might pull out? Well see... 12/27 I'm getting worried.. a bit. We are having a weird ass heat wave and it's wreaking havoc on my environment. The heat is no longer coming in in the house so the humidity is in the 60s. With all those fucking leaves and the spikes at night.. it's a battle. I have to set the dehumidifier down to 40% and run the exhaust on 8 to mitigate the humidity and it just does work... But it works . I can hold it a bit over 1.0 but 1.10 would be ideal. Trying to head off any mildew issues. So... I am about to start some mild defoliation. Just at the bottom for airflow, and 1 or 2 each of the big ones. If they started flowering now. I'd be happy, and I don't know if they can still stunt? Would it even matter at this size? I am moving out all the extra stuff I've been running experiment's on. The radish will be done in a few days and I've had a ball with that. But it's time to prioritize the cannabis. I am maybe going to disconnect one plate and only have one. Then I can raise up the stunted plant and hand water it. One won't be a big deal. More to come.

ThomFoolery Week 5 1/1 Been a while almost missed the entire week without a post. They are doing really well. Had to get clever with the SF SIP. With the bottom feeder that lives by a separate reservoir, you can't move the plants vertically. So I had to buy some longer wicking material and implement risers via an old pot and a bucket. I'm hoping it works. So fAr so good but I fear there are bugs to be dealt with in there still. Blue Cheese Auto is the same pheno. I grew a seed from the same batch of blue cheese last grow it had these 2 lateral branches opposite each other that had double buds on the tip. I thought it was an anomaly but this one has the same feature! How cool is that. Genetics at work. I'll be sure to let this one mature this time. I was close. And the smoke is really good. It it was early. Strawberry gorilla is stunted. She just refuse to really do much of anything. Just lush and beautiful but not stacking and not trying to flower. I think God Berry and chocolope have started. I'm not fucking with autos again. No idea if they will all start at the same time and they are so damn temperamental. I just hope these don't exhaust the N base before they start the damn stretch.

ThomFoolery Week 5 first week of flowering cycle. 1/5 They definitely flowering now! I have 2 Chocolope and the GodBerry are about neck and neck same size both flowering a out the same. They actually started last week. But in the middle. The blue cheese is gettig Nice and plump, and the Strawberry gorilla... Man, idk. I really freaked it out obviously. It almost stopped growing. But I prioritized about 8 good tops, and that's how I'm going to play it. They won't stack very well.. live and learn. I took the last round of leaves . I waited as long as I could. I was getting a really nice swamp cooler effect from all the leaves and since I upgraded to a 6" fan and 8" scrubber, before the defoliation my inner temps were 5° under the lung room temps. That fan made a huge difference. After the defol, yesterday, it decreased a bit but it's still about room temp. Which ain't bad with lights going.! I like to take a few leaves here and there till I get what I want. If a top isn't going to make the canopy I pull it. I also don't want leaves all over each other as much as possible. So I think we are in the clear. They were also drinking something like 10L a day between all 4 of the big ones. 1/7 Think I am done carving out the top buds. The 2 bigger of the 4 both came out how I planned. The cola is still prominent but the others are still in the zone to get nice and fat. With these 2 lights each plant gets a canopy area of about 1.5 x 1.5 and about 6 to 8 inches deep. I try to get rid of anything that doesn't fall in that area (with anticipation of the stretch) but I'll leave a few side stragglers if they aren't in the way or falling onto anything else. We won't really see this take advantage until I turn them up to 80 or 100% and raise them about 20" over the tops (after the stretch) so the light ppfd is a bit more uniform all across the tent. That will mean getting the 2 short ones up to canopy level. This is key so that the two fixtures work together. Id love to find more strains that don't have so many leaves. The blue cheese auto is a perfect example. I have only taken about 4aybe 5 leaves off the entire plant. Last run was that way too. That is a good thing with autos. Right now this crazy fucking winter weather in the 60s and 70s is starting to piss me off. The winter is so easy because the heat squashes the humidity but now it's all over the place. This is forcing me to retrofit the AC exhaust vent so that I can use it to exhaust the tent air. I mean.. it was going to happen sooner or later. It's a good thing. 1/9 Stretching...... Damn I hope it stops soon. They were very slow to start, but now they are getting to it. I just did some major upgrades to my grow space and as a result I lost a bit of headroom. The most profound upgrade was exhausting the tent air out my window. I honestly don't know how I got through last year without doing it. Once I committed the dehumidifier really started to make a difference. And now I'm seeing some major cooling from the exhaust. The controller AI+ came with it and it's not really AIike most people think. I just give it control of the exhaust and the humidifier and it does a pretty good job of keeping it in range . Now I don't have fiddle with changing it every night cycle . I still get humidity spikes here and there. But for the most part it's a lot more efficient. So auto watering. (Which was an amazingly simple but effective water delivery system. Damn it is amazng. ) Funny thing is, had I made the exhaust rerouting first, the 4" I was already using would have maybe been enough. I have the 6imited to 5, and min at 2 in the day cycle. You can't give it too much control. They say it learns... But I'm not totally convinced. Being that I make my living as a software engineer, I'm pretty familiar with deep learning and machine learning and I don't quite thank that's what this is. It is a welcome addition though. Next grow I am going all coco. I'm still trying to find the best way for ME to grow each time. Living soil and a SIP depending on your soil is about as easy it can get. But I still want to try a full coco run. I'm not all about yield. I really love to grow, so I can grow as much as I want. I am just trying to find the best way to getthe best weed available, anywhere. I am looking for a strong strain with not a lot of leaves. And I now have a tent to keep mother plants, so I'm moving back into how I've always grown in the past. From clone. These autos are too hard to control. My space isn't really conducive to that, they all start to flower at different times. I have one that hasn't even started yet, and it. Basically stopped growing a week ago. Smeel like tea tree oil. Strawberry gorilla. I'm curious to see how it turns out.

ThomFoolery 1/12 They have taken off. I know the access to unlimited water is helping. I had to supercrop the 2 colas ony 2 biggest. (Choco & GodB) They have already turned up to the sun and it looks like the bend was placed about just right. Now I can give the entire canopy equal light.... Well on there 2. The other 2 are smaller. The blue cheese stretched about 4x it's starting size. And the S. Gorilla.... I just don't know. It finally started it it's so fucking leafy. I'll nevergrow it again because it that. Aggravating as hell. But it does have an intriguing smell. Tea tree oil. Just like it. 1/13 Yeh... They can stop this stretching nonsense any day now and we'll be just right. As luck would have it I don't think the 2 big girls are crazy stretchers. Not like the Blue cheese. That is one impressive auto flower. Very, very few leaves, flowers very early and stretches 5, 6 maybe 7x the original size. Now, It stretches, and continues to stack the buds. When it was little I was trying to gauge the yield and I said if I get each cola to produce 5 grams that all get close to an Oz, but I think she'll go twice that or more. I need to make a side by side of when it started and now. I planted this one when the other 3 were already a week old, qnd it's already 3 weeks into flower. Damn... The strawberry gorilla is total opposite. As bushy as a chick In 70s porn, and stunted. The latter is my fault. I cut off some premium branches last night. I had hard decisions to make and I'm running out of room. Some buds were literally sitting in 160ppfd and I have tried to train it into the open spots. But it's not growing. I have purchased some very absorbent cotton rope to try the extension thing again. Raise it up and still try to bottom feed it. I may just say fuck it and put the bitch on a bucket and hand water it. Yeh .. that's the next move. 1/14 Had to knock the chocoLopes cola back down.. (I keep wanting to call it Chipotle ) didn't get the hint the first time. I need to pull em all out and look them over tonight after work.. get any larf in the center I missed, and make sure air can flow, all tops illuminated, and try to separate the leaves as much as possible. The SG is so fucking slow. The 2 big girls aren't t too leafy. I'll be glad to grow photos again... From clone. But the way it looks that may be 2 grows away. 1/16 Welp..... I may have to discard the 2 big ones y'all. I am going to have to move probably sooner than later, and I do not want to have to move 2 4 foot cannabis plants into a new place. The smaller ones I can hide. But there 2 big smelly females may get me in trouble. I'll chop those fuckers in a heartbeat. I can grow more. I am trying to hold off until I can finish them. But I may not have that opportunity. I found a really sweet place that wont be around long.. so now I'm just waiting to see if I can scrape together the 1st and last at a moments notice. I really didn't see this coming, but my current place just went up 400 a month, and I can't pay that. So... This diary may go away, or may get smaller. We'll see what happens. My God they are growing. Growing and drinking 8 to 10L of water a day. I will never grow soil again without this SF SIP. No way I could keep up with the voracious thirst of these plants and not drop the ball. This has been the easiest grow of my life, (knock on wood!!) so far. Just starting to flower well. I added a lot of Blue cheese pics this round. That plant is amazing. I just wish I weren't so burned out on the smoke. Is anyone else like that? I can only smoke the same weed about a month, and then I no longer get to enjoy the nuances of the strain. I just feel a generic buzz. And then I have to switch to a totally different strain. Anyway... I can't really say anything bad. My environment is peculating. As long as the RH is below 50 it's a cakewalk. Once it rices it gets to be a little struggle but since I started exhausting out the window, it has made it a lot easier, but not perfect. More to come...

ThomFoolery 1/20 A day late.. ok... The 2 biggest are at 3 weeks flower. The Blue Cheese is at 4 or 5 weeks. I can't recall that little fucker shot into it so fast. I'll say 4 weeks flower. The Strawberry gorilla is at week one. Maybe 2. The SG is showing Ca deficiency but I believe it's lock out because of the dry back, disconnect from the SIP. That's what I think. The soil should have plenty. And this is the only one showing issues, and just so happens the rasing it up and fooling with the wicks causes some issues. The problem is I can't get enough of a flow between the res and the wicks to the bottom of the pot. I am going to put 2 sponges between the pot and the wicks and try that. If that does not let water flow more freely. I am going to totally disconnect it, and top water the bitch. What happened to my font?... Anyway.. these wicks are much better than the Wally world rope. Still not quite enough. I'm also having light stress issues on her and the godberry that's closest to the lower light. Unless I can get the canopy more level, it's going to be this way. When all the damn plants flower at different times and all have their own stretch times. It could've been worse. At least I'm able to split it between 2 fixtures somewhat. 1/21 Gave her (SG) a thorough look over and I added some sponges to the risers. The Blue Cheese seems to be taking up more water so that tells me there isn't enough surface area making contact with the pot buttom. I incorporated some sponges to see if it helps keep the ropes wet and connected. I am going to use the same cake riser for both. I am hoping it's just a lack of ca and mg but I doubt it. The NLS should have enough Ca and Mg, or you'd expect it to. None of the others are showing symptoms. That means it's probably some sort of lockout, and I need to figure it out. I did however give her 3 cups of FoxFarm Organic cal-mag. Set to EC 0.9. Mayne that will do it, or I just seriously fucked up and now they is too much Cawhick could lock out P. With this being a living soil grow hopefully Itll work out. What I think likely happened is since there are areas on the edges that were not contacting the wicks, and since the wicks were weak compared to before, the edges slowly dried out and this caused issues with the biology. Hence causing lockout. I know that partial.drybacks can do this. So I wet the entire column with the CaMg water... I probably should have just used water at first.... So I could have messed up. 3 days will tell.. she did look really happy this morning though. Slurry test revealed pH of 6.0 which is great if it's right, but I don't think I got deep enough for accuracy. 1/22 I dropped the SG back to the SIP and I did the same with the Blue cheese. I'm leaving those 2 in their own little hole. I made some adjustments last night and I didnt check the PAR. Got up this morning and She had several burned leaves. Damn it! She was pristine. Now that messed it all up. Luckily I looked in this am and caught it.

ThomFoolery 1/27 Four weeks flower for Chocolope and GodBerry. But over 5 and maybe 6 weeks for the Blue Cheese. And the Strawberry Gorilla? I'm saying. 3 weeks. Another reason I'm going back to photos. Different sizes and flower times. Oh well. I'm just hoping and trying to be proactive enough for a clean mold and rot free harvest. I did a defol last night to remove the biggest fan leaves that were hanging up on each other. Stalking air and creating micro climates. I also cut out some bud. What I removed would have added up to over an oz, but there just isn't room to let it grow space wise. Lose it now so I don't lost it all later. Ther is still way more than I can smoke. Variety looks good too. So far 4 different strains and 2 phenos of one. I'll add more pics later . I still feel bad about scorching my blue cheese. Damn. She still is frosty AF. If I remember correctly this one will really take it's time towards the end. 1/29 They all look well. Starting to see some color creeping in on the smaller fans up top. They smell just like cantaloupes. At first I could not make it out. Smelled a bit like dog shit. But now there is no doubt. Cantaloupes. Really nice. I'm pretty sure that's all coming from the ChocoLope. The others... The SG smells like tea tree oil. Others not so much. More to come...

ThomFoolery 2/2 We are about half way on the 2 biggest, 3 weeks on the SG, and about 6 weeks on the Blue cheese. Damn... You can see how much I lose on the bottom half, but like I said before. It will still be more than I can smoke. And I want to make sure it all gets enough light to ripen and allow plenty of airflow. The only issues in really having is the godberry seems to be premature yellowing, but I still think it's from the light stress early on. She also looks a bit like nute burn. Yeh .. that's probably the fish emulsion I gave it 2 weeks ago when I misread the light stress. Sometimes it's best to stop and think before you do something stupid. I always have at least one plant that goes yellow too soon. Living soil. But I don't think the soil is lacking. I've never dealt with light stress before so it's kinda fucking with my head. But it's all at the top, as you go deeper they get greener. The deep purple stems across 2 different strains was from the light too. I've seen that before but it's been a long time. 2/3 My Blue Cheese is about week 6ish. I lose track temporarily because of how that plant came about. It was started 1 week after the others had already been in the ground. And then she started to flower after only 2 weeks. She popped up on 12/6, the others popped up on 11/30. I can tell by the way she feels she ain't even close. Flowers are nice but there is no density. Theeaves are so frosty they remind me of sage a bit. I did a bit of work on her. Mostly just tied the tops together so she wasn't so sprawled out commandeering an entire 1/4 of the tent. The 2 biggest are really becoming pretty and the ChocoLope is acting like she wants to start showing some color! Trying to keep it cool at night but below 70 and I start having trouble keeping gt VPD up. Strawberry gorilla is plumping up slowly. She didnt start till about 3 weeks ago. So as soon as I move out the Blue Cheese, I'll see if I can give her a bit more light. May have to harvest the BCA in 2 goes. Should have left her tied down, or I should have super cropped that long ass cola bud. If I'm being honest, I just didn't want to hinge that beautiful top. Well .. next time. I plan on growing this beautiful strain a few more times. 2/4 Its always something.. it's a good thing I love growing because if I didn't, this would be a lot of work. So there is some kind of issue with my SIP. The bottom 3" of the pots are getting soggy and the plants are barely drinking for days. The pots are heavy AF so something is a miss. I pulled out the wicks to allow them to dry back a bit. Then I'm going to try to connect them again. So this is where I have to back track and think about what has been different lately... Normally I use frozen water bottles to keep the water under 70° as much as possible. I let it sit at 75 for 2 days and that's when I noticed they stopped drinking and the connection is all sloppy. Could that be it? I recently broke down the reservoir and refilled it... Could that be it? I also moved the wicks out to the widest holes so they touch more of the pot than they did before... That might be it... I am a bit ashamed to admit it but I actually consulted AI about this. It says it could be any of those things, and I need to totally drain the res after the dry back. Something about the air gap is saturated. Well..... I'm gonna dry em back, and treat it like a fresh install. I'll stay on the old holes where I was before. And I'll keep the rezzy cool. 2/5 Ok.. so 24 hours was good for all except the blue cheese. She was still a bit too heavy to reconnect. I'm keeping the wicks out for 48 and the reassess. I tried to keep it exactly how I had it in the beginning. The BCA is close... Closer than I realized. Two, maybe 3 more weeks and she gets the chop.. but this time I'm going to practice a bit more patience. I remember the last time I grew it I told my roommate that it would connect all the way up the cola. It never actually did. It tis time.. you have to look for stem. This plant is literally ALL BUD! I love this strain.. 2/7 Strawberry gorilla at about 3 weeks flower. Startig to fill out. New pics. Blue cheese is almost done. Calyxes getting plump!! Choco lope pheno #1 is starting to take on rally dark sugar leaves. And the God Berry is a bit too. All but the blue cheese are still connected and SIP is not hooked to reservoir. I'm forcing a small reset on the SIP. Hoping to reconnect them all soon. More to come...

ThomFoolery Week 6 flower for CL, GB. Week 4 for SG and week 7... Maybe 8 for BC 2/10 Put all 4 girls back on the SIP. Hoping that little dry back did them all well. I think I got it before any issues started. They were just about half way through the moisture in the soil. Now, just watching them fatten up and hoping there aren't any more issues. I hope by the next grow I will have learned how to not scorch the damn plants! They don't seem as bright as they are and I've never had to worry about ppfd and par with HPS.. hell they didn't even have dimmers back then. But now I know what happens. When you sun stress the leaves... Basically sunburn them. They die off to fast in the high light needed, but I am thinking at this stage in flower, I should be able to dual back to 650, 600 and finish them fine. 2/11 They seem to be drinking ok. Even the Blue Cheese. I am still kicking myself in the ass for letting the top layer of the godberry get sunburned. By the time I harvest all fan leaves will have died off due to that mistake. Next time.. But all the rest are thriving. Even the BC that got it too. One was slowly over time the other was a lot at once. I'll stop stressing . I'm looking to harvest The BC in a couple weeks. I need t go ahead and purchase a small humidifier exclusively for the drying process. I will use a tent with exhaust to dry in, but I have to have a humidifier in the lung room so they dry slowly, and controlled. Otherwise it'll be like 40% in there. It if it takes too long it'll be warmer weather and I may not need it. 2/13 Almost at 7 weeks for the 2 big 'uns! 4 for SG, and 8 going on 9 for the BC! I'm getting the drying room ready. Did some trich checking and we are close. I could probably take her anytime... But I need the nugs to get a bit denser. I hope they do. I bet the fans would be looking really cool.... That is if I hadn't but we them all off. The GB just looks sad with all those dying leaves. I just hope it ripens and the smoke is good. More to come...

ThomFoolery 2/16 Week 7 for the 2 biggest, week 8 for blue cheese and week 5 for the Strawberry Gorilla. Of the 2 biggest the chocolope is doing very well. Not near as much light stress and she's keeping most of her leaves. But the godberry is losing me all. The buds are small and likely so. I kick myself in the ass daily for not being more careful. I'm mostly worried about leaves dying and causing mold or rot. I have to pull them daily and by the time I harvest. They will all be gone. Even losing a few sugar leaves. Damn. The blue cheese is going any day. Maybe a week. I've already got the drying room acclimated and ready for delivery. I'm actually just wasting water. Need to dial the humidity back. 8/22 Welp... I may have to harvest the god forsaken GodBerry a week or 2.. week or 2 early. She has lost 98% of all the damn fan leaves and a lot of them at curled back into the buds. It's a fucking fulltime job just trying to get them all out and I'm worried about them causing rot or mold. I keep my environment clean and dry with plenty of air movement but Im still paranoid. And she ain't getting any bigger. I really dropped the damn ball on this one. Buds at tiny... What a fuck up. Well... I'll go one more week and see. The blue cheese is any day now... And I need it to happen soon so I can reorganize the damn tent... More to come...

ThomFoolery Week 8 flower for the God Berry and ChocoLope. Week 9 for the blue cheese. And weekend 5 for the strawberry gorilla. I may have to chop the God Berry end of this week. It will be premature.. yeh, it the leaves are dying by the day. All I need is for that to cause some mold and ruin them all. So I'm not really sure... I really hate premature weed. You lose so much. On another note; we just had another cold snap. Shit 3 days ago I had the damn AC running and it was in the 70s outside. When it gets like that, there really is no other alternative. My first recourse is to open the lung room door to exchange the air. When that isn't enough, then we open the bedroom door. When that fails to get the temps below 79 (it's late flower. I really do NOT want temps that hot. They need it to be fall right now so the terpenes and resin accumulate as expected.) then we bring the AC online. It works pretty well but after this grow... I am going to 86 the AC infinity controller and probably the exhaust fan because it's not an open .. meaning you can't get speeds out of it with another controller. You need an adapter and 0-10v speed control. I am going to build my own controller based on Home Assistant and write my own software using Python to deal with the environment. (I have a background in software engineering, I just didn't want to go all out.. until recently. It was bound to happen) I am really excited about that. Basically I haveearn3d how to control and work with the environment and now I believe I can wtite scripts to stand in for me and handle it all the time. 2/24 Went through the plants last night and they are pluming up. The ChocoLope is beautiful. The God Berry is just starting to go from clear to milky... So premature. I'm going to hold on as long as I can. I'm just really terrified of any mold. I run a really tight ship. I do not like to disturb the ladies any more than I have to.. but inevitably I'm in there at least every 3 days checking for issues. With all that activity, 4 oscillating fans, a ling room that sits around 28% RH and a tent that's never above 48% RH, I should be ok. Still, I worry. Once the fan leaves take the dirt nap, any further growth is really slooooooowwwww. As if the wait isn'tomg enough as it is. I can't gety drying room to go above 50% RH even with a humidifier going full blast... But the weather is supposed to get warmer tomorrow. Hopefully that's the change I need to start driying the blue cheese. She is so down close. 8 or 9 weeks right now. But we only use time as a reference. The plant tells me when it's ready. 2/25 I'm about to harvest half the godberry. It's not premature, but a bit earlier than I wanted... but here's why; I cut off a small branch last week and decided what the hell, I'm going to dry it and smoke it. It won't be any good and I never do that.. (well not since I graduated high school and started to learn) but it looks pretty good so let's see. It was really, really good. I'm still a bit shocked. It's probably about 1 week too soon, but I got no headache, no racing thoughts, it tasted really good with no cure! Smoke was nice and the flavor does need help, but not that much. Damn... So I'm torn. I'd like to lock that buzz in, but I hate that it may be too early. I was worried about all the dying leaves causing issues. I'm going to give them a really good looking over after work. I may take the biggest tops.. hell they are all small. They just aren't growing without the fan leaves. And leave the ones farther down to finish a bit more. Had to tie up a branch on the blue cheese. That plant is ridiculous in all the best ways. At least 3, maybe 5ote days. Strawberry Gorilla, omg, strawberry gorilla!!! How I understimated this plant!!! She is really packing on the buds. So I need the BC to finish so I can slide her back into that sweet spot. She will get 700, 800 ppfd all over her tops back there! As opposed to 600 and down now. I may be able to get more. Just depends on the little ChocoLope I have in coco that will slide over as well. We are so close y'all... One thing... The Blue cheese has little to no smell. To look at her goddamn.. she looks and feels really frosty. But you can't smell it unless you rub it together and then smell. And it's powerful pine sol x 10. I'm not getting any cheese, or blueberry.. I never get smells like that. It's always citrus, pine, and earthy weed. Maybe this run will give me some new senses I've missed. 2/25-night The projected harvest time for God berry is 7 to 9 weeks and I'm at week 8.. so it's actually not too, too early. I chopped half the God Berry. All the trichs are milky with a few amber here and there. And they felt really dense.. we will see. I left halt to go all the way. The little ones I left look a bit behind. Another week, 10 days and they should be perfect. I'm curious to see if the buds I left will swell anymore. Th buds on this plant we're pretty small. But what I've moticed is they are pretty tight, and once they have dried. They are still dense. If this bud is this good now, I can't wait to see what a month in the jars will do. This is the main reason it will be difficult to give up living soil. I just have to make sure I flush all the nutrients from the plants before harvest. Yeh I know... Bro science.. but I know last grow, I didn't flush, any I never got that nasty taste out of the bud. So when synthetics are involved, I will at least let them take up water for a couple days then chop. Planning to take the blue cheese tonight. 2/28 Yep chopper her on the 27th... I'm waiting on the harvest report. I did smoke some kief that I harvested off the sugar leaves. Really nice.. really nice. Uplifting, clear, happy. I thought this strain was almost leafless . It absolutely, is not! They are just really tiny. But millions of em!! I'm not fuckig with them. They are coated in resin, and they should curl back against the buds. Really beautiful little buds. I did so.e wet trimming and I'm paranoid as hell that a droplet will form and cause mold. When I get home tonight I'm doing some in-depth inspections of them. They smell kind of funky. Not bad like mold just strong. I can't describe it. The godberry doesn't look like much. They could have formed a bit more but shit, I left over half the damn plant so we shall see how much they differ. I just wanted to make sure I retained what I tried earlier. So blue cheese was a little past 9 weeks and the godberry was right at 8 weeks. Still waiting on the ChocoLope and the strawberry gorilla.

ThomFoolery Idek.... I harvested the blue cheese, she's is still drying. I have one little bud I laid out to get a feel for how the room is without constantly probing. And this plant is beautiful. It had so many teeny tiny sugar leaves that were just coated. I am not cutting those off. I collected enough kief off the ones I did cut off to last a week. I am keeping this cure old school. Let the sugar leaves curl up and cure with the bud. I personally love that look, and it's a lot less work. IDC if it's considered lower quality. It all comes together for a really nice taste with a good cure. I've already jarred up the godberry I took. I may make edibles out of this. I sacrificed a few branches and sifted a shit load of kief off of it. I know it's only been about 3 days since I chopped. I had to keep the drying room a bit drier. About 55% I'm paranoid about mold. I always jar my bud and keep the lid off for a few days till it gets to about 64% then I burp it a few days and it's done. It doesn't look very good. So I did take it too early. The high is still nice but the bud looks larfy even though it feels hard as hell when you squeeze it. I have half the plant still going so I'll make that comparison later. Still growing is the entire ChocoLope , half the God Berry and the strawberry gorilla! I just raised my vpd to 1.9. those buds are dense. Increased airflow. Waiting. More to come....

ThomFoolery Week 10 for godberry #2, and ChocoLope #1. Week 7 or 8 for the Strawberry Gorilla. If I'm being totally honest I can't remember at present. I'm high as hell and don't feel like looking back but I'll make the changes when I do. Damn.. doesn't seem like the first 2 are even growing anymore. But the trichs aren't cooperating. So I'm waiting. A few too many hairs and they just aren't swelling like I'd like to see. That could be my fault. I turned the lights down a bit in the last couple weeks. One reason is my AC can't handle cooling if I have the lamps on 80%. I mean it's a subtle difference but it makes a difference. I don't want to have to leave work in the middle of a shift again and deal with this shit, so I'm leaving it low until I can swap them out. Maybe tomorrow. Will be the 3rd swap this season. Or I the past 2 weeks. They all work to a degree, but I can't get one to work how I need it to. Anyway, hopefully no more than 3 more weeks and I'm done for a while. Hopefully the GB and CL #1 will swell here soon. If not, shit... I know they are going to be good just like they are. I don't doubt that. Anyway, it's not a bad thing to dial back the lights a bit at the end. It can be a good thing. They are putting on the resin though. That's a nice sight. I weighed the blue cheese and God Berry, was 2.96oz and 1.92oz. almost 5oz so far. I'll be sure to submit a harvest report. After they are all done. More to come..... 3/10 I can't say enough about Nature's living soil. It has carried this grow seed to harvest with nothing but water. The 2 big plants look a little puny, but I've already gotten 2oz from the godberry and that was barely half the plant. I am pretty sure that I will get close to a pound out of these 5 plants. (One is attached to another grow). That is, if I bring them all home. I didn't really even have a bad N deficiency after the stretch. Nothing. Unusual. The main issue was light burn causing leaf loss. 3/14 I cut half the chocolope. And it was beautiful. Almost perfect. I'm letting the other half finish and also the god Berry has started to swell nicely. I'm making butter with the majority of the 1st batch, this second batch is for smoking. Still waiting on the SG. And curing the blue cheese.

ThomFoolery 3/16 Week 11 for ChocoLope and GodBerry. I do see a big difference in the calyxes on the godberry. They are swelling up nicely and when I took the tops off the ChocoLope a few days back, I took 2 from the god Berry. One dried a bit faster so I moved it and the first thing I noticed once I jarred it was the smell. Straight gas. I can really detect it now. I hope the cantaloupe smell.comes back. Whatever cultivar that was. But it may not. I'm gone let the GB go another week and the same for the remaining ChocoLope. I'm still not seeing aot of amber. Hardly any. Except in the tiny leaves. They are showing a lot of amber but the calyxes are still just clear and milky. I'll check again tonight. I still like to see the hairs shrivel back a lot. Yu can always tell it's too soon when you have a lot of hairs and the calyxes are small. Especially when you harvest too early , there is no denying it by the hairs and the size of the calyxes. The SG has a month or longer. Damn... She'll be all alone soon but this plant is my heavy hitter. All the others 17-20% thc. The SG is about 28. So I definitely want her to be mature. I may not like it if it's really that strong.. but we'll see. I can always make hash, butter, something. I am making 2 pounds of cannabis butter out of the first round of God Berry. It smokes really well. I am so Impressed . But it looks like shit. So... My fault.. but it is what it is. Still have plenty left. I am about 95% sure that I'll get right at a pound off these 5 plants. 2 were big and had to be pruned back. One got stunted, one was in a solo cup and attached to another grow. (I transplanted her to a 1gal bag because the pH wouldnt budge) And one started to flower way clearly and ended up producing close to 4oz. More to come...

ThomFoolery Goddamnit. I just spent 30 minutes typing out this damn week, and then I hit the fucking back button. So you're getting the highlights. 12 weeks and I just have half the chocolope and half the god Berry. The GB is done. Ill take her tonight. I'll give the CL a few more days. But now it's time for the Strawberry Gorilla to shine!! This plant has surprised me over, and over again. The flower structure is unique to me Separate calyxes that look dense, but really aren't. But she still has 4 weeks at least. She coaxes you in with a tea tree scent, and as soon as you come in close... Bam!!! Stank breath!!! Halatosis. It smells awful! I almost gagged. It is unmistakable. But I'm loving it! I just hope that shit calms down. Seriously. It's her time to shine.. she is my heavy hitter. The others are below 20% this one is almost 30... 3/19 That's it for the GodBerry! What was left was small .. well smalls. The lower buds. But they were and should come out to be dense little berrya for smoking. We'll see how they cure. But if I'm being honest here, the first batch I took is the best smelling, smoking, and the bear high out of all of it so far. Frutiy gas is the profile. Burns even and clean and it's not even been in the jars a week. But, y'all know how that goes. A few weeks in the jar can make a world of difference. I'll post some more when I bring down the chocolope. I need to take the last of her a little bit longer. More to come.

ThomFoolery 3/23 We got one plant still growing. All the God Berry, Chocolope , P1, and P2, have been harvested. I've also collected enough kief so far just from the trimmings to make 3, 1/4" thick, quarter (the coin) sized pucks of hash. I took an empty chapstick container (not the brand, but a little container the same diameter as a quarter.) drilled a hole in the bottom. And I pressed the kief using C clamps and 2 quarters. Works pretty good. The 1st 2 batches weren't clean at all. Bits of plant matter here and there. I got a bit more particular on the 3rd one. I have never smoked actual hash and I'd like to age these and see how they smoke. Probably be so damn potent I catch a damn panic attack, but I gotta try it. I'm also making 2 pounds of canna butter with the first run of godberry. A good bountiful harvest. I've gotore weed than I know what to do with. Lmao. But I still plan to grow. It's about the grow, not the harvests. It's a journey to the end and then it's bittersweet. I really cut this Strawberry Gorilla back. Well, I stunted her. Sure did... Fucked around and topped her a bit too late and smooth through on the damn brakes!! All but stopped growing. So I just picked out about 10 tops and they never really took back off. Now each branch is a cluster of short buds all mashed together. I'll try and get some images tonight of what I mean. 3/24 I need to get in there and pull the buds apart a bit I guess. I really messed this plant up, but hopefully she will still yield ok. I'm not sure why she had such a hard time with the living soil. Throughout the entire grow she has displayed a little stress. The others were fine more or less. But on the SG the leaves have been clawed pretty much the whole time. If I'm being honest here, this plant was bringing up the rear the entire grow and by the time my focus was on her, I just didn't care. It is what it is and she'll probably produce between 2.5 and 5oz. Depending on how she ends up. I only have Max of 3 weeks left before I have to move out of this place, so... She's got about 3 weeks. That should be about right. Maybe she can probably go 4, but well see what happens.

Second batch went 12 weeks. First was 10. This plant was a joy to grow. She ended up with an overall maroon color. Not quite purple and not totally red. The last batch was a real thing of beauty. Nice swollen calyxes and beautiful hairs. She didn't produce big buds but she made a ton of them. Had I not pruned this plant back so hard she'd have took over the tent with all her flowers. I got plenty as it is. Looks like 4+ oz off the plant.

I made a lot of mistakes with this plant. I let it get light stress on early flower so that caused me to prematurely lose 90% of my fan leaves. As a result the buds stayed small, but there are a lot of them. I took this one in two batches as well. The first was a bit early but the high is remarkable. It's very nice but the big looks bad. I am going to process the first batch Into canna butter. Almost 5 ozforthr entire plant. Damn. Not too shabby for a bunch of mistakes. The high is clear, uplifting. It makes me sing when I'm trimming the other plants and that rarely happens. It's a really nice high. The last batch albeit small buds were really nice looking little nuggets. I didn't take as many pics as I thought.

ThomFoolery 3/29 Week ... Idek man, lemme count this shit up .. it's week 9 ot 10 for the strawberry Gorilla. I got so mixed up with her. Looking back she didn't present flowers untill about week 8 or 9 and this is week 19. So I'm going to say week 9 and go by the trichomes. Looking at the buds, she had a lot of tightening up to do. I'm a bit concerned. If I look at the images of dried SG buds, mine looks like some kind of alien. The calyxes are all really small and they is a lot of space between them. It's been my experience that most cultivars really impress In the last 2 weeks. I'm hoping she is no different. Really nice looking. Blue and purple buds. But only where the strong light is baking it in on the outside of the flowers. They look like sugar coated chunks of rock candy. I am planning to move in April 15. Will she be ready to chop? I highly doubt it, but I hope so. I don't what to have to take this plant 3/4 through. That should be enough, but one of the others went nearly 13 weeks and it was a 9 week strain.. lmao.

ThomFoolery 4/14 Holy shit! It has been 11 weeks and this plant is still clear. Not even milky yet and the buds are just ... I mean just starting to get dense. That's only at the tops. The bottom most portions are just as larfy as they can be. I am planning to move on the 18th. I didn't want to move her but the place I'm buying is a perfect growers little hide away in plain sight. So I guess she's moving too! I'm not touching autos for a long time y'all. I've bever grown one that took less than 12 weeks to even get a little amber. Most of this grow were harvested a bit early. Most. I let 2 sit longer and the difference is minimal. Seems like most of them will take 15 weeks to fully mature. Maybe it's me. I'm no pro, so it is what it is . Been fun though!! I'll keep up here and there till I cut this one.

I had to chop her early because I had to move, and I just couldn't wait. Super larfy buds man. Maybe this will stop the week counter. I totally overlooked this diary and life got busy. Anyway .. what a shame man. She has some of the most interesting terpenes. Smells like really bad breath. Halitosis in fact. But in a good way. It's weird. It makes you cringe at first and then you take another whiff. Taste is nice. Not like halitosis lol. Believe it or not the high is acceptable. I got about 4oz off that little plant. There was a lot more than I thought. I cured 1 oz and wrapped the other up for edibles. I also made some dry sift from about 2gs of kief pressed it in my homemade press. And heated it a bit to seal it... I guess that's right. I haven't ever had real hash ngl. So I'm winging it here. After about 2 weeks I'm a sealed.jat at 55% RH it was a helluva lot better than just sprinkling it on a bowl. So it works for me. I owe this strain another grow. The hash was good.

I also forgot this.. I actually thought I had done it. Anyway. This stuff was phenomenal man. Its the one auto I will grow again and I am sad I don't have any more than 3 seeds left. She was a tricky little plant that always made me smile and proud. She was a late arrival and the first one to finish. A back up plant she was exactly 1 week behind. I had a radish in the tent and it fell on her and the stem was permanently bent close to the ground so I took that opportunity to just tie her down so she'd bush out. That was about at 2 weeks and she immediately went into flower! At 2 weeks. Man I just knew it was a stunt and a waste. So I counted 5 tops and began damage control. I'd have been happy with an oz. But no... She just kept stretching and stacking.. little fan leaves.. they where like ornamental leaves and not many at all. I did almost no defoliation. Go back and look at her if you want. Amazing little plant. She was a whitish ash color and frosty as could be. She ended up this crazy 8 (don't quote me on that, im guessing here) armed beautiful monstrosity that I had to tie up to keep from breaking. She smoked well right after the dry. I was already happy but it's been about 2 and half months and this one is by far the best tasting. You can detect notes of anise that are starting to develop. She absolutely was my favorite.
