diamondtrichomes I love the paper towel method for sprouts! Get the nice little tail showing before I stuff them in some soil!

diamondtrichomes A bunch of pictures this week! I love topping my plants like this. I’ll cut back some of the fan leaves up above to stunt those nodes. That helps the lower shorter nodes catch up. Next week you’ll see how I clone to create many tops 👌🏼 You can also see I add the leaves back to the top and add my favorite kashi to start the breakdown process.

diamondtrichomes So much growth after 5 days. All the lowers have grown to the same height. Remove top at the same point that the lowers grew up to. You can see the last pic is the next day after topping.

diamondtrichomes 7 days after topping. Just crushing it! In a few days I’ll transplaht into the final homes. I have mostly 10 gallons with a few 7s. I’m also going to keep a few in the 3 gallons. Will be a great side by side to see if pot size makes a difference 😉

diamondtrichomes I started to see some signs of deficiencies but I’m growing organic. I added some fish and build a bloom from Build a Soil. After a few days I noticed it getting worse. I think it may be from overwatering and not letting the pots not dry all the way out. (I hate those plastic nursery pots). So I transplanted into bigger smart pots and added some premium worm castings. I fed them a beneficial tea using compost and worm castings too! Let’s hope they turn it around 👌🏼

diamondtrichomes Snuck in a few extra snaps for you this week. Getting excited over here! I love the white puff ball stage of flowering. Here soon the weight will be packing!
I’ve had all three strains in these photos thus far. I’m going to start keeping better track of what’s what now that they are almost halfway through flower. Cheers!

diamondtrichomes By far my favorite of the bunch. They all stayed shorter and stocky. Definitely some indica genes in there. Purple fades on most of them and a grape undertone in smell. 🤔 other nose we picked up was spicy, earthy, funky shoe, permanent marker, and pungent chlorine! Also that pheno #7 has some SERIOUS trich production! 😍 hash galore 🤤
This strain had multiple phenos in it. Seems like an indica Hybrid. Stayed short and squatting and fattened up, while finishing early. Most of this went to fresh frozen

diamondtrichomes I had a blast testing this strain out. It was really cool watching all the different phenos. I had two favorites, #7 and #8. This smoke is great for after work wind down.
What kind of water are you using? It sort of looks like nutrient burn because you can see the burned tips and the edges of the leaves are starting to show it as well. Even though you’re organic, maybe too many ppm’s In the water? Just a thought

@Nifty, I just use RO water. I use compost/casting teas weekly. I’m pretty sure it was from overwatering in plastic nursery pots. As soon as they hit bigger pots, the new growth showed no problems
