Alright, now we are up to date. It's been a blessing growing these girls thus far. The strawberry banana is the shortest of the three, towering at a mere 26". The GG#4 suffered nutrient deficiency earlier on, but has been producing some frosty buds. The BlackJack has the most pungent smell, very similar to Jack Herer. Been growing these plants with Nectar of the Gods and coco coir.
Must say, DO NOT use Nectar of the Gods with coco. We've grown with this lineup with soil and have seen much better results. Overall, looking forward for these girls
Temperature rose a little, and the girls are on their final weeks. Well, at least GG#4 and the strawberry banana should be done in two weeks. The black jack averages 9-10 week flowering time and it clearly shows.
This week we are excited to see the progress these three plants have made. The stage of late flowering is always a beautiful sight to see for a grower or even to a person who just enjoys smoking it,
The blackjack's branches weren't supporting the weight well. While tying up some of the branches the plant's stalk bent to a curve. We're gonna do our best to handle it with extreme care for the next three weeks or so.
It got fairly cold this week, colder than what we'd like. Fortunately, some of these girls are almost ready. The GG#4 is fairly close to being harvested, we should start flushing in a few days. The blackjack finally seems to be putting on some weight but still needs a few weeks. Excited to harvest soon.
Well, we haven't started flushing them yet. The tricomes are looking milky and we saw a little bit of amber on the GG#4 and the strawberry banana. Plan on flushing those two tomorrow and chop it at the end of the week. The blackjack still needs more time and will still be receiving nutes. Looking forward to giving some of these ladies the chop soon.
This update is a little late, but there was just so much to do. We chopped GG#4 and strawberry banana this weekend. Will update the harvest once fully dry and weighed. Haven't had the chance to check Blackjack, but she should be finished soon.
