Popped a couple a few weeks back. Got curious about the genetics but pretty sure they are inconsistent. We'll see how these ones go. Going to keep them both on the same diary.
Definitely some variation in the genetics. These 2 look like they'll be a bit bigger than the first one. CC #1 is slightly stunted and CC#2 has more stretch but fewer bud sites. Should be interesting to have a total comparison by the time I finish all the beans off. 3 indoors one outside. We don't talk about the one outside though 🤐
Looking good thus far. CC#1 was just lightly LST'd and CC #2 was topped at node 4 and has also received LST. Should be interesting to see how they turn out in comparison. 🙌🌱👊
Week 3. All the girls are fed Gaia Green Organics. Since the first one was such a success 🙄 I've adjusted my measurements for amendment to reduce nitrogen uptake at late stages in veg, as these girls love the burns. CC # 1 has small LST done just above the 5th node and has had no other training or defoliation whatsoever. CC # 2 was topped at node 5 and given multiple shots of LST as "needed" She's also been selectively defoliated to increase light pen to the inside of the canopy.
So far, CC # 2 is the most different. It's has purely citrus profiles and noticeably greener/yellower pistols. She's a bit slower on the resin production in the beginning but quickly caught up in the last few days here. CC # 1 has some real density to her. The pistols are mostly white and kola locations are much more condensed than CC # 2. CC # 1 smells more like the original CC I put down 8 weeks ago. Berries. Godly berries. 🤪🙌🌱 Really stoked to see what happens with this in the end. Hopefully they are completely different in all aspects. I'll keep pushing the limits with these autos. There just more too them then people let on. 👍💪 That first CC is technically done according to CKS guidelines in 2 days. I've been keeping a close eye and I do believe she'll finish as per expectedness.
Continuing onwards, both doing well. Noticing the CC#2 having bad response to the topping once again. (Genetic issues) They just don't respond well to it. 👎😓🌱
Headed into week 4. CC#1 is doing well 👍🌱
CC#2 is starting to fill out more as well. They both have completely different profiles 👃
CC#1 retains it's berry complex and CC#2 has it's fancy and 🍋 smells. Exciting!
Onto week 5. Incredible difference from the first grow. These two are stacking up really nicely. This time through is going to have some really successful results. 👍🙌
Both girls are still doing great. The resin production is quite a fair bit more dominant on the plant that was topped. Definitely curious to see what sorts of differences, if any - will play out in the end result smoke. 💨👊😤💪
Had to do a small leaf strip on the CC#1. It's getting a tad hotter at home and she had some leaf stacking near or on buds. So she's cleaned up and ready to finish off her last remaining week. 👍
Things went very well. Took it through the dry too quickly for CC#1, so she had most of her terps ruined. Into edibles she goes. CC#2 turned out great. Both still on the smaller end but that's my lighting issues 😅 All in all, a great plant and a fast turnaround time. 2 different phenos this time. Still maintains a sweet and peppermint smell. 👍
Loads of fun and loads of experience gained from these 2. Learned my lesson this time through as to how to properly finish up and dry my plants in the conditions I have for drying. CC#1 did not dry enough, so I made her into gummy bears. CC#2 smoked very well. Looks and smells great, but still not the heavy hitters league. Once I have the opportunity to upgrade my lights I'll be upgrading to roughly 500 true watts. At that point I'll be able to do the plants some more justice. 👍✔️🌱
