Notill living soil is the way to go. This grow and my last one were great thanks to the soil biology. 😍

MrLahey Looking great on day 43 of flower. 3-4 weeks left or so before harvest.
There’s some definite heat or light stress on the top leaves in the canopy. Kinda wild because my temps during the day don’t get above 76 or so and the light is like 900-1000 ppfd according to Photone assuming it’s not crazy inaccurate.
Regardless, seems like the heat or light is tacoing the leaves. Not much I can do for the temp. Even so she will finish just fine.
Looking forward to the rest of the grow.

MrLahey Day 53 - ripening up! She’s reduced her water intake down to one or less than one liter per day. Smell is phenomenal and strong - like spicy bubblegum almost although I have a post covid sinus infection so my nose is pretty stuffy still.
I’m thinking 2-3 weeks MAX until I chop her. She seems ahead of or right on track for “estimated harvest time” from the breeder. Top colas are primarily cloudy trichomes and some clear and amber. Lower bud sites are cloudy/clear trichs. I think I’ve a tendency to harvest a little early so we will see how long I can push her before I feel it’s chop time. I suspect that will be dependent obviously on the trichomes, pistils and bract size but also overall health of fan and sugar leaves which seem to be fading due to senescence, improper ph maybe and cold night temps.
Ordered an apera gs1 ph pen as I’m pretty sure my current pen hasn’t been accurate the past month or so. Also ordered a blumat watering system for next grow (chicken n waffles from Humboldt seed company).
My vcure arrives this week so I’m really excited for when I chop this plant and dry/cure her in it.

MrLahey I’m definitely in the harvest window and will probably chop her any time now. Today is day 59 and tomorrow day 60.
The smell is wonderful. Kind of pungent and earthy lemon type smell.
The fan leaves never did recover from I guess heat stress maybe. Not sure what caused them to taco. Maybe heat or light stress. I’d let the plant go longer if the fan and sugar leaves were healthier. I don’t want to risk any dead leaves causing bud rot to take hold unless I’m overthinking it.
I’m very exited to dry her soon! Will be putting my VCure to the test with its 14 day craft cycle. Very curious to see how the end product comes out through the VCure vs my previous tent dries. I suspect the finished product will be great. 😀
