Breeding project

Ohunt1776 For my 3rd ever grow I'm going to try to start my grow in a box tent as a old school fun experiment to see if I can at least start a grow like they did in the old days. :) Here's to the deadheads and such who have been growing before I was even born! 😂💚😎👶 I have the babies in a cardboard wardrobe box from uhaul. I will move the babies to one of my real tents (probably 4x4) once my current flowering grow is done. 😂💚 In the box, I have an ac infinity 9in fan on top and 2gal ac infinity humidifier hooked up and a 12 x12 veg light. All the babies were transplanted in 1gal pots of 75coco/25 perlite after 24 hours of soaking in RO water. The pots were pre-amended with microrizi and calmag ro water. Babies went through 2 weeks of germinating before I gave them their first feeding. Only 3 out of the 5 Lantz survived unfortunately. But Lantz #5, #3, #2 and Chicken n Waffles looks really good at this point at about 3 weeks total since sprouting. Ppfd is about 305-255. Babies are praying :)🙏💚 Starting to use General Hydroponics 10 part series like my pervious 2 grows 😅👍😁💚 Lantz is 2x taller than the rest so hopefully we have at least one male for our breeding project! I already know Chicken N Waffles is a female because it is a feminized seed. 🚺😁💚 FINGERS CROSSED 🤞🤞🤞Any advice on breeding projects?!?! Hope you are all are having a good ho ho holidays! 🎅🎄✌️💚

Ohunt1776 Giving plants w2 light feeding from GH. Giving Phed RO water to more thirsty plants in between. #5 is the thirstiest. PPFD around 250 then to 330. #5 Might be a male because it is taller. 🤔 Chicken N Waffles is shorter than all the Lantz and Chicken N Waffles was a taller strain from my last grow, so I'm surprised. 🤔😅 So far the box grow is going well and I have been able to keep the temp and humidity pretty stable. And now that I've added a 9in fan on the top, the plants are getting stronger. 💪🌲

Giving plants a little squish to help them dry out when necessary and airate soil before and after feedings because plants now can butt chug. 🤣😉😂 PPFD on average 330. 😎🌞 Still thinking #5 Might be a male because it is taller. 🤔 Chicken N Waffles is shorter than all the Lantz. 😅 Rotating plants to keep them symmetrical. Still thinking boy. 🤔Plants are 4 fists tall. 💪🌲Their stems are getting thicker every day. Rotating plants to keep them symmetrical, esp because the plants are now moved to the back left corner. Blood Moon Gelato is now sharing its tent with 1gal pots on the front right corner. It's a packed box tent. 😂 And think this is my 2nd grow I'm trying to shove in this box tent. 8 total 1gal pots shoved in there now! Whoop whoop! I should have an actual tent available soon. My other grow is in its last week of flower. 😂😁😏😜

Ohunt1776 Transplanted babies into old 7gal fabric pots. 70coco/30perlite preamended with Calmag water and given a top fill. Babies took awhile to bounce back after transplant... Probably because the lung room was kept too cold...Esp around the roots. Chicken N Waffles seems to be more resilient than the Lantz. Started adding training clips once plants bounced back a little.

Ohunt1776 Gave Calmag flush and w4 light feeding as well as a foilage spray this week. Plants are only starting to recover from transplant. They were over watered/too cold because lung room had to be cold for drying in other tent. Chicken N Waffles is loving life. 😁💚 Lantz 3 seems to have 2x longer arms than the others. Obviously a different pheno. All plants are female so breeding project is put on pause. Plants were defoilated. Bottom 3 sets of major fan leaves were cut off. Clips are continuing to be added to help them stretch out. 🙌😏

Ohunt1776 Gave plants week 4 veg feed from GH. And squishing corners of fabric pot to help dry pots out and airrate soil. ☺️ Gave plants Calmag/ Floralicious spray 2x.💚 Sprayed foilage and sides of pot with neem. No pests or fungi/mold seen this far. 😏😄 Thinking about topping and scrogging around 3 feet from floor. Plants are almost that tall at this point. 🤣😍💚 Removed a few top big fan leaves. And will need to remove more leaves soon but don't want to stress plants out too much. They just started growing again last week after stressful transplant and cold night temps with wet roots. 😬😅

Ohunt1776 Removed top few clips to let these nodes even out before we cut them for clones in a few days. 💚🌿 Plants are more than reached the 3 foot mark in the tent from the top of the plant to the floor. 🌿😎👌 We squished the pots and rotated the pots 90 degrees. But we mostly left the plants alone otherwise!

Ohunt1776 Babies butt chugged about 1.5 gal week 4 medium fed GH nutrient water (ph 5.8, ec=2.2). We topped the plants at almost the half way point, because we need to prolong veg. We made 12 clones from the topmiddle of the plant (3 per plant).😍🍻 Each clone was dipped in root growth powder and fresh aloe from my garden and put in a preamended rapid growth cubes. 😁😎💚 The leaf tips were cut off the clones and they were only left with one or 2 main leaves. They are about 5 inches tall. 😍💚 Cubes were amend with 0.5ml of the main line GH as well as Calmag and Floralicious. Cubes soaked in nutrients for 3 days. Plants were heavily defoilated and clips were added to flatten the top for further scrogging.
