ViciousIce The seed was just about to germinate after I had it in a glass of water for 24 hours, and I planted it (I've always successfully germinated FastBuds seeds like this, 100% success to date!) 1 cm deep in a prepared 20-liter planting barrel with BioBizz Light Mix, Hubey MT Mix (!) and for the first time 1:10 "Organic Bio Char with Microbes" with the tip facing up.

ViciousIce One of the pictures shows the seedling 3 days after it was planted about 1.5 cm deep in the soil. Before that, I soaked the seed for 24 hours and planted it exactly (tip up ;) ). The seedling emerged in a clean inverted U-shape, and unlike previously not so precisely aligned seeds, the seed shell was already off when I took the picture of the seedling, no help was needed. Now the plant is 1 week after PLANTING the seed and 4 days after germination. It's top-notch stuff from 42, so far every seed from FastBuds has really germinated. In the meantime, I'm curious about the stability of the color. We'll see in 7-8 weeks. Either way, it's fun again.

ViciousIce So far, no special occurrences, as I've observed that the plant slightly lifts its branches with optimal watering. It's watered in such a way that a) nothing reaches the catch basin below (the pot has holes at the bottom, so liquid buildup is absolutely impossible), b) the plant looks "satisfied," and c) nothing is wasted. The 2 strange "growths" are a bit odd, which can be best seen in picture 1. Let's see how they develop. Otherwise, just keep taking care of it and let the plant live its life in peace.

ViciousIce Through the soil and what’s underneath, I could tell that the amount of water (I only use distilled water) was too high. The plant is still consuming 0.8 liters a day. At first, the growth looks a bit crooked, but the structure is close to optimal, and I will start with LST in the coming days. I bought some accessories on eBay for that, which I want to test. So, there should be pictures of the LST next week. So far, the plant is developing like an Indica does. Just the speed at which it has been growing for the last 3-4 days is impressive. Hopefully, it stays that way, even though I don’t really believe it will reach 150 cm. We’ll see, still about 6 weeks to go.

ViciousIce The plant is making quite a jump every night now (being monitored by camera, in the morning it has to be readjusted to the top) and you can see the first signs of flowering. Fertilizing continues for vegetation, at least for another week. The consumption of Aqua Dest + fertilizer has also sharply increased. You can already see some coloring - purple - in certain spots. The RF3 is growing by far the fastest of all the seeds used. Currently, it’s about 10 centimeters every night. The plant is supposed to reach up to 150 cm and would fill the entire 1 sqm box, as 75% Indica means it will continue to grow for a while even during flowering. I’m always amazed at how people cram 3-4 plants in there. It might be good for yield, but certainly not for the poor plants. Let’s wait and see how the LST affects it; I’m really taking it very cautiously and using pre-made parts (see photo) that can be combined. In any case, I’m really looking forward to the result again after a long time.

ViciousIce The tips of the buds are showing some initial discoloration towards purple, but it's still quite subtle. My problem is the light; it's just enough for 80x80 and not 100x100 cm. I'll probably have to upgrade here, grinding my teeth. I don't want to, because I've managed the first 4 weeks with 120 watts (without red), then I'll need at least 80 watts more. But I really want to finally reach the maximum height ;). Otherwise, the plant is not having any issues like all the seeds from 42. It looks like I'm finally going to grow a Purple :)

ViciousIce The LST has been discontinued since the plant fills the entire space - at least in width. The reason I’m not reaching 150 cm is simply due to the light; it's too small for 1x1 meter. In the central area, the plant is developing beautifully, but I had to remove some of the large leaves as they were casting shadows on the buds. I also prefer it when the structure is airy; I have zero interest in gray mold. Now about 3 weeks until harvest, hoping that nothing goes wrong.

ViciousIce So far, there are nice purple lines on the main stem. See pictures. I don't understand why no real purple wants to come out. Of course, the plant is beautiful as it is, but overall a bit disappointing for a seed that costs €16. Now I wanted to grow the same plant again, but it's no longer available or currently out of stock at 42FastBuds. Strange, everything. I guess I'll have to think about it longer and ponder alternatives for shipping from the CR. The results so far are sobering.
