Colek Starting my first indoor run.
I popped one Tropicana Cookies Auto and one Pound Cake Auto seed, and both germinated successfully — 100% success rate so far.
The setup is all dialed in now, just waiting for the little ladies to break through the surface and say hello.

Das Setup steht und alles wartet bis die kleinen Ihre Köpfe aus dem Substrat heben.

Colek Both seedlings broke through the substrate within 24 hours. The Tropicana Cookies was a bit over-eager and started stretching pretty quickly.
Once the Pound Cake had shed its seed shell, I adjusted the light height to 50 cm and set the intensity to 65%. From there on, everything was left to do its thing.
On day 6, both plants received 600 ml of tap water each (pH 7.6 according to the local water authority), mainly just to keep the substrate moist.
The pH down arrives in two days — a bit delayed — then I’ll be able to dial in the water pH properly.

Beide Keimlinge haben innerhalb 24H das Substrat durchbrochen. Die TC war etwas übereifrig, weshalb sie relativ schnell angefangen hat zu spargeln. Nachdem die PC ihren Samen abgeworfen hat, wurde die Lampenhöhe auf 50cm und die Intensität auf 65% angepasst. Jetzt geht erstmal alles seinen Lauf.
An Tag 6 haben beide je 600ml Leitungswasser (ph= 7,6 laut Amt) bekommen, primär um das Substrat feucht zu halten.
In zwei Tagen kommt etwas verspätet der pH downer an, dann kann der pH Wert des Wassers optimiert werden.

Colek The week went by without any major issues. Both ladies are growing, although at different speeds — the Tropicana Cookies is performing a bit better so far.
Midweek, I checked the substrate pH for both plants. The TC came in around 6–7, while the PC was sitting much higher at 7.5–8. I’m guessing that’s the reason for the difference in growth. Where those high values are coming from, I honestly don’t know.
I watered both plants with 2.5 liters each (pH 6.2). Curious to see how they’ll develop over the next few days 🌱

Die Woche verlief ohne nennenswerte Probleme. Beide Ladys wachsen, wenn auch unterschiedlich schnell. Die TC performt etwas besser. Mitte der Woche habe ich den pH des Substrats der Beiden gemessen. Die TC lag bei 6-7 und die PC bei 7,5-8… ich schätze, dass daher die unterschiedlichen Fortschritte kommen. Woher die hohen Werte kommen weiß ich nicht. Ich habe die Beiden mit je 2,5l (ph: 6,2) gegossen. Ich bin gespannt wie sie sich die nächsten Tage entwickeln.
