punktkomma This time I’ll be running Granite Haze F7 from Speedrun, and I’m really hyped for it. I’m very curious to see how she performs in my setup.
Alongside her, I’ll also grow a Mephisto 505 Headbanger. I’ve wanted to run that one for a long time as well, but something always got in the way.
I hope the two work well together. I know some Mephisto strains can be a bit sensitive when it comes to feeding, while Speedrun strains are known to eat a lot 😂

punktkomma First time ever I had a seed fail to germinate 😐 so the Headbanger had to be restarted.
The Granite Haze is already up and running though and sits at roughly day 2 now.
I always count days for the entire tent instead of individual plants, otherwise it just gets confusing haha.
I’m currently running an EC of 1.4 and will raise it just a little at the next watering. I’m trying to keep the pH around 5.6-5.8.

punktkomma The Granite Haze already looks really impressive for day 10. The 505 is a bit behind, but that’s expected due to the different germination times.
Right now the light is set to around 350 PPFD at 23 hours, which is already fairly intense, so I’ve increased the EC to about 1.6-1.7.
The Granite Haze feels like it could handle even more pushing, but I don’t want to completely kill the Headbanger 😄 I think finding the right balance in this run is going to be pretty interesting haha

The Granite Haze is doing absolutely amazing. I’ve honestly never seen a plant this strong at day 18. Some of the side branches already have three node pairs developed, which is pretty insane.
She was already so big by day 13 that I connected her to the Autopots 😋
That said, she’s insanely hungry, both for nutrients and for light. 👹💀
I’m currently running EC 1.8-1.9 with a DLI of around 35, and she honestly feels like she could take even more of both.
The Headbanger that’s sharing the tent is struggling a bit with that setup though. I already raised the Granite Haze by about 25 cm with a box, because the Headbanger was clearly showing signs of too much light. The nutrients also seem a bit much for her. I’ll keep an eye on it for now… might need a second reservoir eventually haha 😅

The Granite Haze is developing beautifully. 😇😊
She’s really big for day 24, with very strong growth.... I’m loving it and it’s a lot of fun to watch.
I think she might end up getting pretty big, haha.
Unfortunately, the 505 is still struggling a bit, so I can’t push the Granite Haze any harder with nutrients right now.
The 505 can currently only handle around EC 1.7–1.8. 👻
