Purple lemonade auto - second grow

TangerineDre4m Days 8 and 12 One plant is a bit older than the other but both are looking very healthy. It will be nice to see the difference between these two plants, are the older one will not receive any training. Overall, I'm also impressed with the vigour both, and especially that first one, are showing. The plants are looking strong, which bodes well for the future. See you again next week! :)

TangerineDre4m 25-01-2026 Day 15/21 The purple lemonades are both healthy and vigorous. They really grow quicker than the gelatos I'm growing, at least above ground.. PL 1 is 21 days old right now. PL 2 is 15 days old and will receive LST tomorrow. It will be cool to see how differently the plants develop, as the only training I'm planning on doing with PL 1 is leaf tucking and lollipopping. I switched to 20/4 instead of 24/0 for my lights. Environment is not ideal right now because of the cold, but nothing to do about that. So far it doesn't really seem to make a substantial difference anyway. Water is 250ml-350ml of rainwater every 48hrs. Purple lemonade 1 is noticably starting to get thirstier. So far so good! TangerineDre4m 01-02-2026 Day 28/22 PL 1 is throwing pistils and inviting gentlemen. Luckily there are none. Flowering is starting soon and I can see pistils start to spread to the growth tips. I have started doing some leaf tucking to try to encourage the side branches a bit more. So far the height difference with the other plants is real, which isn't ideal. But hey, it's a good experiment. PL 2 is taking the LST very well. About a week ago, I removed the two lowest nodes entirely for both plants. Last grow, these were the branches that produced most larf. It also cluttered the canopy and I felt like the plant was spreading its resources too thin. Removing them definitely seemed to have helped break apical dominance for PL 2. The side branches are growing a lot quicker and are overtaking the original main. Last run, I never seemed to truly break apical dominance. I have started guiding the biggest lower branch to the other side of the pot. Watering has been the standard rainwater every 48h. Right now around 500-600ml for PL 1 and 300-400ml for PL 2. Had to switch to 24 hours of light again because of the cold nights... Thanks for checking in this week 🙏

TangerineDre4m 07-02-2026 Day 28/34 Purple lemonade 1 is flowering hard at 34 days. She really rushed it and probably won't end up very big, but that's okay. It's good to see the difference between training and no training. She's looking very healthy though and is stretching steadily. Setting up for some nice buds. Purple lemonade 2 is also transitioning into flower at day 28. Her structure is looking decent, with one side cola having turned into a main. The rest of the sides are also looking happy. Overall, PL definitely likes LST. Watering has been 800ml for PL 1 and 600ml for PL 2 every 48h. Happy growing 🙌

TangerineDre4m 14-02-2026 Day 35/41 PL 1 is basically done stretching and is starting to bulk up. She is purpling at the flower sites which is cool to see. I think she is going to grow some beautiful buds. PL 2 has taken LST very well and has noticably started stretching. Her structure is open and she is gonna be a dense bush. I think she won't end up much shorter than her older sister. This time around I decided not to lollipop right before flower but rather, I took all first nodes off from all branches right when the 2nd lowest appeared. I also took the 2nd lowest from most of the weaker branches. I left either 1 or 2 on some to see if that end up becoming popcorn or not. That way I'll have a better idea about what to take off and what to leave in the future. The plants have gotten noticably thirstier, which is a great sign. PL 1 will be get 2L/48h. PL 2 will get 1,8L/48h. Happy growing! 🙏

TangerineDre4m 21-02-2026 Day 42/49 PL 1 is bulking hard. Her main cola is looking nice and dense. Her smell is really nice and sweet. She threw some nanners, which I removed a couple of days ago. So far, I have only spotted one more in development. Not sure why this is happening. Maybe because her tops got a little too much light at some point during stretch? Anyway, it's all good. There likely won't be a lot of pollinating going around anyway. PL 2's training is definitely paying off. She isn't huge in terms of height (probably similar to her sister were she not trained) but the training really shows in terms of vertical branches and density. Especially for how early she flowered. DLI is around 32-34. Watering is 2L/60hr for PL 1 and 2L/48hr for PL 2. The smaller sister is overtaking her bigger sister with ease! See you next time :)

TangerineDre4m 28-02-2026 Day 49/56 PL 1 has bulked hard over the last week. She is starting to get closer to harvast, probably 2-3 weeks away. Most trichomes have turned clodu and her smell is amazing. I understand why she's called purple lemonade! The purple coloring is striking, what a beauty. She is showing some deficiency, probably natural senescence. I gave her a little epsom to be safe around a week ago. PL 2 is finishing stacking but not quite there yet. She has some really dense tops and also smells incredible. RH has been a bit high but there is nothing I can do about it. I don't think 65% will be a problem given the two fans I have, but I have plans to fix the situation so that RH can be well controlled. PL 1 is drinking around 2L every 60 hours. PL 2 is drinking 2,5L every 48hrs. Pretty big difference! Even though PL 2 isn't huge, her thirst rivals some of my bigger plants from last grow. This is a good sign and I think she is gonna bulk up quite a lot. Thanks for checking in again, stay 420'd 🙏

TangerineDre4m 07-03-2026 Day 56/63 PL 1 is almost ready for harvest! She has some amber and mostly cloudy and has stopped drinking. Last watering was around 4 days ago. Im expecting her to be done in 2 or 3 days. PL 2 is also looking great. I left the light a little too close and got some foxtailing. I actually really like the look! She is drinking about 2,5L/60hrs now. Happy growing 🙏

TangerineDre4m 14-03-2026 Day 63 PL 1 was harvested three days ago, 67 days after germination. She came in at 334g wet after cutting her into segments and removing most fans. That actually positively surprised me. She has been drying for 3 days and smells really good. She has a very strong citrus aroma that fills the entire house in minutes if you leave open the tent. Her buds haven't shrunk as much as I was expecting, which seems to indicate good density. Im thinking she will probably land somewhere between 70g and 80g dry. Her buds are a really deep purple. I'm looking forward to seeing them in the jar! PL 2 is starting to show clear signs of senescence. I'm expecting her to go about 12-14 more days. I really love the foxtailing she got. It looks pretty quirky on those huge golfball tops. She doesn't have the most connected spear-like colas, but her buds are very dense. She smells a bit sweeter and lemonade-like than her sister. Overall I'm very happy with the results on my early node removal. PL 1 has 0 larf, which makes trimmer just so much easier. PL 2 also has virtually zero larf. I was a bit worried about having remved too much, but it's cool to see that the plants don't seem to mind. Even if it were to yield a bit less this way, the quality and ease of trim is definitely worth it. PL 2 is still drinking around 2L every 48 hours. I'm expecting it to start dropping off pretty soon. TangerineDre4m 22-03-2026 Day 71 PL 1 was jarred after 10 days of drying. She ended up yielding 60g of dense buds. 0 larf, which made trimming a breeze. I probably removed a node too many on the side branches and she likely could have yielded more. Having not trained her, I should have probably left it alone. But we live and learn, and 60g of top-shelf is something im very happy with! Her smell is already very fruity and sweet, with a hint of grapefruit. Where she really shines though, is her effects. It's one of the most comfortable strains that I have ever smoked. Energetic but not racy, with a very calm headspace. Quite a mindful strain, perfect for during the day. Overall, very pleasant. While growing the plant I wasn't sure if I was going to grow this strain again soon. But if PL 2 ends up having a similar vibe, it will probably become a standard in my setup. PL 2 is still building her last density and looks to be needing another week or so. She is at around 50-60% cloudy trichomes. She smells very strongly: sweet and sharp on the nose, living up to her name! Training definitely did a lot for this plant, and her canopy is filled with dense buds. Senescence is progressing and her thirst is starting to drop off, currently around 2L/48hrs. Enjoy your day growmies! 🙏

TangerineDre4m 28-03-2026 Day 77 Purple lemonade 2 is nearing harvest. Cola's are super fat and dense with very little larf. I'm planning on chopping her either tomorrow or in 48 hours. Her trichomes are 90%+ cloudy on most branches, with some amber appearing how the buds near the top. I like to aim for around ~5% amber across the plant. She has basically stopped drinking and smells so good! She's throwing out sweet citrus with a slight tropical complexity. Amazing. Enjoy your day growmies! 🙏

TangerineDre4m PL 2 was harvested at day 78. After 10 days of drying she was jarred. She came in at 440g wet weight and 90 grams dry. When trimming her dry, I found a lot of nanners. Many were not ripe but some has burst/released spores as I trimmed. I think she developed them pretty late in her life, as the other plants do not seem to carry mature seeds. I also did not find any seeds on her. But it's notable that both the Purple Lemonade auto's threw a good amount of nanners. Overall, I'm happy with the results. Will definitely grow her again.
