Taking a stab at growing in coco. Going to start two seeds of each strain and pick the healthiest one to transplant to 7gal fabric pot. Using FloraNova lineup, looking to see what I can do with coco!
Week is going well. I haven’t had a lot of time to monitor them, but they’re growing fine. Will transfer them maybe next week to final pots for simplicity. Going to follow the GH schedule and adjust for PPM strength.
So far so good. Trying to dial in the right amount of nutrients, but she’s handling everything I’ve thrown at her. We’ll see how she finishes out the week.
She’s doing pretty good. She’s stretching a bit. I’ll bend her horizontally today to get a little better growth lower. She’s tall. She’s also a light color green. I may give her more nitrogen as she seems a little lighter than my other plants. All in all, very healthy looking. She’s handling high PPMs. She already is showing her pistils in full strength. Hoping to see more veg growth this week before buds appear.
She’s doing okay. Problem is that I have a massive bush in the same tent and can’t get a decent amount of light down low for this girl. She’s going to have to suffer this one out. I did pluck her main leaves and am seeing what happens here. Doesn’t look too great, but I can’t lower my light anymore. Lesson learned - only grow the same age plants unless you’re doing continual training.
This plant is racing through its life. Probably another week or two on her. She’s bulking up decently, but most growth is in the main cola. I pulled her sideways to get more bud exposure, hoping to get some decent lower buds, though this plant does not have a great structure. I’ll take what I can get! Purple colors are coming through nicely now.
She’s finishing up her life now. I’m going to start giving her last week of bloom for a few days and then flush. She’s pushing it. I screwed up on this grow; she got no light during first half of her life because she shared a tent with a larger plant that was near harvest. I’d like to try this strain again as I have never done it justice. We’ll see... FastBud’s BlackBerry looks good too!
She needs more light, LSD will stretch like crazy under inconsistent or insufficient light including too "red" a bandwidth. Of course this is just my experience and your results may vary :).
But yes do train her it will make your life so much easier
@@Chi_Town_White_Boy,
Been there done that and yeah its no fun.
Can you raise the plant?
Put something (very stable) under the pot to get it closer to the light perhaps?
Not sure what you are working with so just guessing. :)
