Balboa Punch

Sunny_Balboa My random seeds have both grown well; they do take a bit longer than usual, but everything is progressing very nicely.

Sunny_Balboa I had a few fungus gnats in the tent this week. I dusted the soil surface with cinnamon and placed some chopped garlic in a bowl of boiling water in the tent. The gnats hate the smell of garlic, and the eggs die from the cinnamon. However, this method only works well if you act quickly enough and there are only a few eggs/fungus gnats in the tent. It worked really well for me this time, and I was able to get rid of all the fungus gnats. Additionally, I topped and defoliated the plants. I find the plants are growing very well and visually just look like lettuce.

Sunny_Balboa The two are growing great, relatively flat but nicely bushy, they've been topped multiple times, with these two I'm waiting a bit longer before fertilizing.

Sunny_Balboa Today, the timer was set to 8/16 to initiate the flowering phase. I added 3g/liter of substrate from feeding Grow, and also included 1ml of pk13/14 per liter of watering water.

Sunny_Balboa The plants were sent into flowering with a light schedule of 12/12 hours. The plants are now getting 1ml of pk13/14 per week additionally.

Sunny_Balboa I regularly fertilized with 1ml of pk13/14 per liter of water, the plants are growing very well and already have a nice flower density. I think in the next 4-6 weeks the plants will be perfectly grown. The light is set to 100%.

Sunny_Balboa Just a little update in the form of a video. So far, everything has stayed the same, same light, same nutrients, same watering. I'm super excited to see what the final result will look like.
