Random FastBuds seed

Snipes420 Growbox arrived, i have temporarily put 2 plants inside. The growbox offers enough room for 1 mature plant. 1 plant is in a 13L pot while the other is in a tin can (growcan i once received as an april fools joke). I have no doubt that the 13l pot will do better on the long run so i will probably move the tin can out and keep it on the window sill. Fertelizer i used is a mix pack i had from somewhere containing 10 grams of biobloow and 10 grams of biogrow. Update 4/1/2026: - plant grows healthy inside box

Snipes420 Plant looks to grow healthy. Im having problems with low temp and humidity. I cut off the connections of my seedling mat so that i could feed the cables through the back hole of the minigrow. spraying the plat regularly to raise humidity. The bigger seedling is actually second seed i have sprouted. The new small seedling was my first attempt. It never sprouted and somehow i lost it while planting the other one. I noticed this small seedling a day ago. I will leave it inside this pot and train it to grow opposite of the other one. Both seeds came from the FastBuds Mix pack. Waiting on solution from Minigrow to fix my temp problem as i probably broke my connection when installing it. should arrive somewhere next week

Snipes420 Grow is doing good. Plant has shown incrediblae growth. at the beginning of the week she only had her 1 finger leaves. The next couple of days she started growing her 3 finger leaves. Today (16/01/2026) i can see that the first 5 finger fan leaves are showing! I have added a layer of around 1/1.5cm of perlite. It helps me with watering by not pushing all the soil away on impact. The wet soil is also inaccessible for more nasty fungus gnats. For that reason i also put some yellow sticky pads as a precaution. Today she got less than a liter of water. She's starting to drink more but still not a lot. That 1 liter had still some runoff but not a lot. The next time i feed her she will for sure need more. I might buy some nutes for her to assist in the grow. I am hesitant of doing some LST. The plant looks so fragile and as a first grower i dont want to snap her. I will probably stick to SCROG methode whenever she grows a bit higher everything seems ok. Only struggling with humidity. it stays at around 45-50% RH. I have put a bowl with pebbles and some water in it to try and raise the RH and some with sponge in a cup of water. I do opem the growbox everyday for 10-15 minutes so more humidity can get inside. I have to look for a humidifier that would work for raising the RH in my minigrow. so far the growbox has suprisied me in good ways. Led is powerful, box is compact. Touchscreen is intuitive but thats all i can say atm. the other seed is not showing a lot of growth. Possible due to the lights being too strong and too far away.

Snipes420 Good week, she has shown substantial growth imo. She is sitting on top of ac infinity self watering base. I will diy a different pot next grow as the 13l is pretty big. I fed her some fertiliser i got from a friend (RQS Easy grow). I have only put 1/3-1/4 of a tablet in around 1,5l of water so she should be good. I also put an extra fan for some extra airflow throughout her canopy. I installed a scrog and will be training her from now one. The scrog might make it hard to grow the second seedling due to less light will be able to penetrate the thick canopy. I did some light defoliation on big sis. Only cut some of the lower leaves of that were a bit drooping and dont get any light anymore. I think she might start to flower next week as bud sites are preparing I have added a co2 bag to raise ita bit inside this box. Honestly i dont know if this will do much onky time will tell

Snipes420 Plant is transitioning into flower. Some preflowers are visible. I have to tuck leaves every day. It will become a challenge since i use a rather big pot and the ac infinity self watering base takes another 2/3 cm of height. The growbox itself doesn’t offer a lotof room to grow in height. It ismt first grow ever so guck around and find out. I will for sure have to look into topping, lollipopping or mainlining next grow! Roots are growing into the base. I will diy a better pot (especially a lower pot) to better fit inside this small growspace. I top feed every other 1/2 days with nutrients (1 easy bloom tablet in 6/7l of water) I have done some light defoliation in the lower canopy to get a better airflow. I kind of topped her whilest tucking away some leaves but doesnt look like she is in any kind of stress because of it.

Snipes420 She really is stretching quite hard. Im tucking leaves everyday to allow most of the light to hit the bud sites. I hope she stretch will end by the end of next week. For now i still have some room left but not a lot. Distance between flowers and light is around 20cm and im running 560 ppfd. Scrog is really helping me as a first time grower in this small growbox. It helps holding the leaves down and weaving/ pushing bud sites out. Canopy looks even as a first time grower in this box and in general I do some light defoliation occasionally to help with airflow through the lower canopy. Im sitting at around 65% RH and vpd around 0.95kPa. I hope the high humidity wont cause any problems over time. Fans are running at 80% She has some signs of nutrient burn i think. I might have fed her too much last week. Today i have flushed her soil and refilled the self watering base. The roots seem to love this base as they are starting to grow inside of it. From now on i wontbe able to take the pit of it to properly clean. AFAIK it holds around 3 liters and i have to fill it up every other day. Maybe 3-4 weeks left in flower?

Snipes420 Plant has grown a lot recently. I think the stretch might be over as i havent seen a lot of difference in height recently. The budsites are developing really well. I have fed her today with some nutrients (easy grow tablet mixed with 8l of water). She received around 500ml i would say in total I have to refill the self watering base every 2 days. She is very thirsty. Besides that she is looking healthy. This is my very first grow but everything is going good. Plant has some yellow leaf tips. I dont really know what caused it but it doesnt seem to appear on newer leaves and if it does it stays at yellow tips. She doesn’t have any terpenes smell yet. It smells like a plant but thats about it. Im only struggling with humidity. It is around 63-70%. My minigrow says the RH is 70% while my amazon hygrometer says 61%. Idk which to trust more. I have defoliated the lower canopy again for better airflow. Vpd is around 0.8-0.99kPa

Snipes420 The flowers are stacking very nice and getting bigger each day. The leaves and bud sites are also showing some frosting. Cant wait to see some signs to distinguish the plant somewhat since it came drom a random pack. Today i have noticed that the top leaves where brown almost looked like burned. I measurd ppfd and dli with photone app and ppfd was close to 900 or a bit higher at the flowers closest to the led panel and dli was between 60-70. I have dimmed the led panel to 75%. I still get around 600-700 ppfd and a dli between 35-60 (lower numbers at the outsides ,higher in the middle of the led panel) Im feeding her every 2 days with 400-500ml of water with nutrients (1 tab of easybloom dissolved in 8l of water) and she seems to handle it ok. I think i might stop feeding nutrients sunday or Wednesday so i have enough time left to flush the plant from the salts. Still struggling with humidity. The highest its been is 70% and lowest around 55%. I have noticed that the high humidity is when i fill up the ac infinity self watering base. It takes a lot of water so might be the cause. Whenever its almost dry the humidity drops to 55% ish. I have added an extra fan that runs 24/7 on lowest setting (for sound) and the fans from the growbox on 90% (the max) This week again i have done some defoliation to increase the airflow throughout the canopy and in the growbox in general. I also removed some lower bud sites because they get barely any light due to the scrog being almost completely filled

Snipes420 This week humidity is getting better. I have bought a dehumidifier and it kinda helps. I open the growbox couple Times a day to helps it get the humidity out. On rainy days the humidity still gets kinda high but not too crazy (67% on rainy days due to natural high humidity) Overall humidity is better. Now im facing higher temps even with fans on max and heater off. This is only during night times when my bedroom windows are closed I have done some defol again to help wirh airflow and humidity control The bud sites are developing really well. Im feeding with some nutes again. It shows some deficiency in the upper canopy but might be due to the high heat? Plant seems to handle the stress okay Im really starting to question what strain i have got since the plant is slowly turning purple. Im really new to growing so i cant really tell what it smells like. Its spells quite strong when opening the box and she is very sticky. Note to self: weer gloves from now in. I have washed my hands 4 times and they are still sticky and smell strong

Snipes420 Nothing special this week. Buds are getting fatter each day. I have been checking the budsites with a small microscope thing to check the state of the thc. They all still seem glass like and not cloudy or amber. Most white hairs have turned brown (except the sites that receive less light) i think She might be ready in a week or 2

Snipes420 Nothing changed this week. Bud sites are still swelling. She’s nearing her end.

Snipes420 She is almost finished. About 45% cloudy on trichomes others are mostly clear except the brown hairs those have some amber on big main bud sites. She does still make new pistols with white hair but not so many white hair pistols left (only lower canopy) I will be checking if she starts drinking less water and nugs stop fattening up. Plant has a strong tangy smell and is very sticky on budsites and sugar leaves. Her leavs do show some sort of problem/stress. The yellowing is either a nutrient problem/ph problem or yellowing due to age but i assume first one. Shes only getting water atm no nutrients

Almist all white hairs have turned brown now except for a few bud sites in the lower canopy. She still needs some time but i think her time is coming to an end due to leaves starting to yellow

Snipes420 She still needs some more time. I cant really see any amber tricomes (i dont have a jewelers loupe so i use my gf iphone and try to use that). Her water uptake is still the same as before (i have to refill the watering base every other day) and her lower canopy doesn’t show any yellowing yet. She’s still transpiring a lot (70% RH if i dont use my dehumidifier). She is on day 78 of flower and total age of 94 days. I assume she will need another week or so. What do you guys think?

Snipes420 Today i chopped her! I didnt notice any new growrh and water intake didn’t change. I dont reallyhave anything to check trichomes in detail but i noticed the smell wasn’t as strong as couple weeks ago. As a first time grower it has been an awesome experience. I made some mistakes but i have learned a lot! I definitely need to do some more training! I chopped her don and hanged the budsites on the scrog net. At first glance the top canopy looks very nice, swollen and compact budsites. Rhe under canopy is less evolved. I assume this is because of the lack of lights. I will for sure have to add some under canopy lighting. The plant was very forgiving for the mistakes i made and she probably could have been chopped earlier. For this reason i cannot give a proper review on the random seed that i got. Once this plant has dried i will be moving my other plant in the box as this one is preparing to go in early flower
