Started off in root riots in a small propragator, and tranplanted to their final pots directly. (11L Smarpot filled with biobizz all-mix)
Soil was enriched with elycitor from Biotechnology
The goal of this grow (and my fastberry one) is to compare a plant fed with bio-heaven and another one without to see if this expensive nutrient is worth it.
The plants are growing very well even if the temperature gets really high sometimes, slight heat stress (at 38°C it's normal) I quickly responded with AC to keep things cooler.
To help manage the thermal load i also switched the light cycle to 6/2 cycles 3 times a day.
The bio-heaven-fed plant seems to pull ahead a little but it's way too soon to draw conclusions.
I plan to start LST after the 5th node appears which is hope happens during early/mid week 3
I am already bending the leaves a little to bring more lights to the lower nodes
After stabilizing the temperature i took a look at a VPD chart ( http://i.imgur.com/HBnT439.png ) i noticed my humidity caused the leaf curling problem I raised the humidty to 70+% and try yo keep it there to keep the VPD below 9
The plants are growing very well not stretching a lot but still developing nicely at the nodes.
The stem is really thick but still flexible perfect time for LST.
As usual around the third week the need for magnesium calls for some epsom salt.
Because of A/C it's really hard to keep humidity high enough for the green cracks they strive with vpd lower than 8 apparently
Pistils are appearing (day 23-24), i added the screen right before strectch (day 25).
The Bio-Heaven is starting to show usefulness, I'm very happy about this. Nonetheless all the plants look very healthy (lacking a bit of humidity but still nice)
The LST worked very well to contain vertical growth and help light get through, because i don't quite like the natural developement of the plant, it grows on top of itself very quickly, preventing it to develop full potential, LST Definitely helped.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, the other strain in the tent is growing naturaly, i don't like the structure as much because it is growing on top of itself, so a light LST is nice i think
