Run 2 OreoZ

CannaNotion It's 2026 and we're starting another diary from the flowering phase, with the third crop of OreoZ, as we really liked its flavor and presence, so we've kept it and will continue growing it a bit more. 🌱 Day 100 since cuttings were put to root. 🌺 Day 1 of flowering 💡 The lighting is at 50% and it's cold in the room where the cabinet is, but I've put heating cable around the pots and it seems that at least the roots are doing well. 📌 On October 15, they were transplanted from 0.4L to 2L and on December 4, they were transplanted to a 7L pot to get used to the new medium, as spending so much time in 2L pots was harming the plants. On December 26, a low pruning was done. Preventive action with Spruzit and diatomaceous earth a week before doing this defoliation.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update on January 10th and photos from January 7th 🗓️ 🌱 Day 109 since cuttings were put to root 🌺 Day 13 of flowering 📝 We continue the flowering of these OreoZ with photos from January 7th. I haven't been able to stop and take more recent photos. We are maintaining watering with nutrients according to the Mills chart, with a pH of 6.1. 💡 The LED has the flowering light activated at 50% and the growth light at 50%, and we’ve raised the temperature to a maximum of 21 at some points, but it’s really cold. Despite this, the stretch is happening correctly, as this strain doesn’t stretch much. 📌 The pre-flower is almost done. The only manual work left is defoliation on day 21 of flowering and practically keeping them well watered and fed to finish this cycle. Will we manage to do 6 cycles this year?

CannaNotion 🆙 Update January 18 (even though today is the 19th lol) and photos from January 17 🗓️ 🌱 Day 118 since cuttings were put to root. 🌺 Day 21 of flowering 📝 We finished the stretch phase of these OreoZ, filling up with branches and housing pre-flowers at all the tips. A good flowering is expected. This week's watering was simply with water at a good temperature and pH 6.1 💡 The LED has already activated the flowering light at 60%, reaching sustainable peaks of 21ºC. Humidity is the current problematic factor, as our dehumidifier broke and with the current weather, it’s already too high. 📌 Severe defoliation pending after finishing these first 3 weeks of pre-flowering, to allow better air circulation, in case we can't lower the relative humidity much more.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update January 26 and photos from January 25 🗓️ 🌱 Day 125 since cuttings were put to root. 🌺 Day 28 of flowering 📝 On day 21 of flowering, after posting here, defoliation and cleaning of the lower parts that weren't getting enough light were done. We've started adding C4 sugars, and the most photogenic phase is coming. I'm managing to raise the temperature in the room where I have the setup. So far, everything seems good, looking forward to seeing how the inflorescences fatten up. 💡 The LED is at 65% power, and the plants appreciate the little heat it emits. 📌 Pruning and such tasks are finished, just need to keep them well-fed for the rest of the cycle, and by the end of February, we'll finish the first cycle of 2026.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update February 2nd and photos from February 1st 🗓️ 🌱 Day 132 since cuttings were put to root. 🌺 Day 35 of flowering 📝 We're starting the fattening and scent intensification in the room. We had to turn on the neutralizer due to the smell. We're applying PK this week. 💡 The LED is at 70% power and this helps to gradually fatten them up. 📌 I'm not sure if the high humidity due to the rains is affecting the fattening, but the smell is incredible, so the result is going to be good, regardless of the quantity. Also, with such high humidity, we could lose some dense buds.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update February 19 🗓️ 🌱 Day 149 since cuttings were taken. 🌺 Day 53 of flowering 📝 This strain has also turned very purple with the cold, and it smells like bubblegum. It's one of the most advanced, there's a lot of amber trichomes on the sugar leaves, so we need to wrap it up soon. 💡 The LED is almost at maximum and the growth LEDs haven't been used. 📌 This week 8 we've already started watering with water and this is about to finish.

CannaNotion 🆙 Update February 27th 🗓️ 🌱 Day 157 since cuttings were taken 🌺 Day 61 of flowering 📝 This run of OreoZ is coming to an end. It was one of the first to mature the trichomes to amber, so I cut one of the two on day 56 and it smells really good. I’ve left the other one until today, when I’ll give it the chop. 💡 The LED has reached 80% by the end of flowering 📌 The fan leaves have been drying out, as it has been watered with water for the last 10 days, but intermittently. They have suffered a bit of final water stress.

CannaNotion Very tasty, I saved it for a reason and after growing it 3 times, I still like it. It will stay with us a little longer. Of the 2 I had, I cut one a week earlier because it had nothing and I wanted to stock up a bit beforehand, so the photos now are only of one plant. Now it's time to clean it and into the jar.
