NoHarry What’s up growmies! Kicking off a new run in RDWC. The bean was soaked in water for 24h, and after two days it popped a solid taproot so I put it straight into the hydroton. It’s been stalling for about a week now, but that’s just standard hydro lag while the plant is busy stacking roots downstairs. I’m still hitting it with some semi-organic additives like Canna Rhizotonic for now, but once I do the first res change, I’m planning to go full salts. Wish us luck! The dimmer on this MedicGrow light is absolute trash and won’t let me drop the draw below 130w, so I had to hang it super high to compensate. The Photone app is showing around 350 PPFD, which is probably overkill for the seedling stage and definitely not efficient. Start: N 69.2, P 23, K 70.7, Ca 55.8, Mg 25.5 NO3 57.35 NH4 11.85 +2ml/l Canna Rhizothonic ec 0.7

NoHarry Nothing major happened over the last week. After that initial lag, she started picking up steam toward the end of the week and, predictably, got hungrier for nitrogen. This little gal drank a full liter of the soup over the week. I did a swap, drained 4L and topped off with 5L at N110 (bumping other elements accordingly to keep the ratios dialed in), and gave her a foliar feed with some Hesi Supervit I wanted to hook up a silent fan, but then I remembered my Spider Farmer clip fan didn't even survive one full run, it's already dead. I’ll have to run a tower fan on low speed for now. The exhaust isn't running yet either.

NoHarry Swapped out another 5L this week with N110, so the res is sitting at roughly N90 right now. I’m planning a full res change, bumping it back to N110, once she bounces back from the stress of topping. She looks just about ready for the snip.

NoHarry Topped her at the start of the week, and she’s been busy pushing out new colas ever since. Noticed a few root strings hitting the bottom of the bucket already. I gave her a foliar spray with some Canna Rhizotonic and added 1ml/L of 3% H2O2 to the res to keep things sterile. Hit her with another topping at the end of the week. Honestly, I’ve always been a bit of a butterfingers, so this stage is easily the most nerve-wracking and crucial part for me. N110, P45, K127, Ca105

NoHarry Did I mention I have total ham-fists? LST gives me the worst anxiety-snapped a branch once and it was a total goner, so I’m always paranoid now. Didn't want to push her too hard with the weekly topping, so I kept the nutes locked at N110. By the end of the week, she was definitely showing a deficiency - growth slowed down and the leaves started looking pale. Finally swapped the res to N120 on the last day. Planning to top off with N130 and play it by ear. Next round of topping is happening in a day or two. Still not running the exhaust 24/7 to keep the heat in since it’s been chilly, but no red flags so far.

NoHarry Up to 8 colas today. She’s definitely growing a bit lopsided, but honestly, no real complaints so far. She’s a tank. Thinking about hitting her with one more topping N 120 P 48 K 139 Ca 114... +Every top-off, I'm adding 1ml of liquid glass (silica) per 10L, plus 25ml of 3% H2O2 per 20L of soup. Looks like she drank about 3L this week, maybe more, the roots are starting to take up so much volume in the bucket that tracking the exact intake is becoming a pain. Still hitting her with Hesi SuperVit as a foliar once a week, no strict schedule though.

NoHarry Decided to go for one last round of topping above the second node, leaving a couple of extra shoots on each cola. Tonight or tomorrow before lights out, I’m hitting those 8 colas to get my final 16 mains. That’ll be the end of the torture -time to finally focus on the SCROG. Bumped the light up a bit and cranked the power to 190w. Not sure if I can trust that app, but it’s reading around 620 PPFD. NoHarry Another week down. This time I didn’t chop anything, just did a whole lot of bending. The plant is super easy to train -honestly, if I were a bit more skillful, clever, and chasing aesthetics, I could probably sculpt a masterpiece. But you’ll have to watch this instead :) She’s drinking about 1L of solution a day and her appetite keeps growing. The torture phase is almost over, ahead is a week of free growth, and then it’s SCROG time. Thinking about running Cannazym for a week, around 3ml/liter, let the roots fluff up a bit and pack on some extra mass before flip

NoHarry Probably the most boring week yet. Just bumped the lights and let her do her thing without any training or tucking. After running that massive Amnesia from Sensi, I was expecting way more stretch from this sativa-dom gal. The breeder’s description says she hits 3m, but mine is taking forever to even reach the SCROG net. Honestly, Think Fast probably makes more sense as a balcony grow than in a tent. Running some Cannazym in the res this week and hit her with a Hesi SuperVit foliar.

NoHarry Feels like this strain really digs a long veg. I’m giving her one more week on 18/6. Honestly, I’m probably being too cautious, she could definitely handle around 1000 ppm without breaking a sweat. For now, here’s the mix in the res: N (NO3) 129,908 N (NH4) 020,192 P 060,048 K 172,534 Ca 142,476 Mg 053,468 ... She’s drinking about 1.2L a day, so I’m topping her off with a slightly hotter solution, and she seems to be loving it.

NoHarry Spent the whole week basically butchering my plant. First, I stripped all the fan leaves and chopped off the sucker branches, then did another round 4 days later. While I was hacking away at her, I noticed just how sticky the greens are already! Ending the week with a pretty gnarly-looking plant, but I’m sure she’ll bounce back by tomorrow. That means the flip to 12/12 is happening in about 3 days. NoHarry Flipped to 12/12, but I’m still marking this week as Veg. Honestly, the transition has way more in common with the vegetative stage than actual bloom. I’m not switching over to the "orange stage" until I see real signs of flowering, which probably won't be for at least another week. Even though she’s sativa-dominant, she’s still pretty squat, so I’m not expecting a massive stretch. Kept the nutes the same- she still needs that nitrogen to fuel the stretch, so I’m sticking with the current recipe until the transition is over. Finally killed the humidifier, too. She bounced back from the previous defoliation in just 3 days, so I did another round a week later. This was probably the last heavy prune - once flowering kicks in, I’ll finally leave her alone.

NoHarry I went a bit overboard with the nitrogen, keeping the feed at N160 for too long. I think it definitely stalled the transition and dragged out the veg, but nothing critical. On day 12 after the flip -the very same evening I dropped the N and bumped up the P and K (and the final day of this journal week) -the white hairs finally popped. Well, that's it... we’re officially in bloom!

NoHarry One week since the first pistils showed up. She’s staying nice and squat, but the lateral growth is insane. I kept the nitrogen too high for too long and ended up with a mini jungle, but it’s not a big deal -Think Fast is a Green Tank and takes pruning like a champ with zero stress. Right now, the res has 20L of soup at N90, P100, K200... plus a little H2O2. That thick stalk and rock-solid immunity are all thanks to the Liquid Glass (Potassium Silicate) I’ve been adding since day one. After switching the nutes to a clear flowering profile, her appetite spiked -she's drinking almost 4L of soup a day now. Onward we go.

NoHarry Classic me, jumped the gun again on the nutes and went a bit too heavy on the PK for this stage. Normally, she would’ve handled it like a pro, but the weather threw me a curveball. Temps in the tent dipped to 22°C during the day, and she straight-up went on a hunger strike. I had to crank up the heat in the room to lock the tent temps at a steady 25-26°C. As soon as it warmed up, she perked right back up and crushed her 730ppm ration without a hitch. It’s becoming clear that even though she grows bushy like an Indica, she craves the heat like a true Sativa. Definitely never a dull moment here. Next week marks the start of the most beautiful and intriguing phase of flowering. Smash that like button and subscribe so you don't miss out, haha! :)

NoHarry Hey everyone! It’s Sunday, which means it’s time for a fresh update on our girl. Her wild youth is officially behind her, and with maturation on the horizon, I’ve spread the branches as much as possible and cranked up the exhaust fan. She’s so dense and so sticky that my mold anxiety is actually starting to kick in. I’ve paired my Medic Grow with a custom Siyanie 200 light that has UV. I’m not running it so much for the UV, but rather to get a more even light spread across the canopy. I’m keeping the PPFD the same for now -I don't trust my phone camera enough to give you exact numbers, but I’m aiming for around 800. Overall, she’s doing great. Super sticky already and the smell is really starting to kick in!

NoHarry Past the halfway point of flowering! Everything is going according to plan, and the buds are really starting to bulk up. I’ve bumped up the PK a bit to support the weight. Still haven't pulled the trigger on cranking the lights to full power for the whole day yet -playing it safe for now. Overall, we’re just sitting tight and letting her do her thing. Hands off! :)

NoHarry She is incredibly sticky and very aromatic. I’m not exactly an expert at picking colorful adjectives, but the scent is a sweet, fruity mix with a heavy undertone, most likely that "diesel" funk. The Rhino Hobby filter is doing an excellent job, but opening the tent is like releasing the dragon -the scent instantly fills the entire room. With the dehumidifier running, temps have climbed up to 30°C. I’m really hoping it doesn't get any hotter than that; I want to do everything I can to preserve those delicious terpenes.

NoHarry I’ve been battling my reservoir all week. Messed up the initial mix once, and I’ve been playing catch-up every single day since, trying to stabilize the numbers. I finally dialed it in today with this recipe: NO3 18, P105, K210, Ca100. Despite the nutrient hiccups, the girl is looking solid and is absolutely caked in trichomes.

NoHarry It’s a bit sad to realize that "Autumn" has officially arrived. The trichomes have gone cloudy, the leaves are fading, and I’m out here wiping away a tear. This girl, whom I’ve been spending every day with for almost half a year, is finally wrapping up her cycle. Well, it’s been a beautiful ride, and Think Fast proved to be an incredibly strong and resilient strain. I’ll break down my full thoughts and review of the genetics during harvest week. By the way, the next update will drop right after the dry, I know you guys are all waiting to see the final dry weight. But for now, it's time to flush. The lights are dialed down a bit, the reservoir is filled with pure RO water, and my heart is filled with pure, bittersweet blues. Don't lose track of me, we’ll meet again in about 15 days! In the meantime, drop your guesses below - how much do you think we’ll see on the scales? Honestly, I can’t even begin to guess.

NoHarry My impressions of this strain are honestly a bit mixed. On one hand, she’s incredibly resilient - a strong plant with solid genetics that forgives even major slip-ups with climate and nutrients. Her structure features extremely short internodal spacing. If you're planning to grow her, a word of advice: don't let her turn into an absolute jungle like I did. I’m convinced that if I had been more aggressive with defoliation, the final yield could have been 10–15% higher. And while she handles temperature swings like a champ, don't forget that high temps easily destroy volatile terpenes like limonene, which gives Think Fast its signature flavor. If you don't keep your climate in check, all those delicious terps will evaporate, leaving you with an earthy, mediocre profile. In terms of growth behavior, she’s a bushy monster - definitely what people call "Indica-dominant" in structure. You can easily train her into a completely flat canopy under half a meter tall, making her a perfect candidate for stealth grows. As for her biggest selling point—the ultra-short flowering time -there's a catch. The truth is, this plant demands a long veg phase. If you want a decent yield, you won't really save much time on the overall cycle; it’s still going to take the usual 20 weeks from seed to harvest. Harvest day was a bit more challenging than usual - this plant is quite tedious to trim. My gloves instantly got coated in sticky resin, and the aroma in the room was absolutely insane! But it was all worth it. After 6 days of drying, I ended up with 240 grams of dry product, which went straight into jars for curing. The buds hit hard and spark a lot of creativity! You wouldn't even guess that the THC is sitting at around 18%, honestly, it feels way stronger than that. As for the flavor, it's currently dominated by an earthy profile, which isn't really my personal favorite. However, after a couple of weeks of curing in the jars, the flavor profile might completely shift. If anyone is interested, let me know in the comments, and I’ll do a THC-test in a week. Thank you all for following along on this journey. Until next time!

@H0BBYGAERTNER, Thanks! Yeah, I definitely get the feeling this strain thrives on a long veg. Basically, the couple of weeks you save with the fast flowering (according to the breeder) seem to get balanced out by the extra time she needs in veg. In my experience, she was finally ready for the flip by week 7. I'll definitely do a full photoshoot once she starts flowering, but right now I'm purely focused on tucking and stretching her under the SCROG net.
