AlpenZilla Both Future #1 plants have successfully germinated and are now established in 1 L pots filled with soil.
Germination was fast and trouble-free. The seedlings show healthy leaf development, strong stems, and uniform growth. After a short time in the jiffies, they were transplanted directly into 1 L pots to provide sufficient root space from the very beginning.
They are currently growing under controlled indoor conditions and have already started developing their first sets of true leaves. No abnormalities observed so far β the grow is progressing exactly as planned.

AlpenZilla πΈ Flowering β Week 2 | Day 10 (Day 47 overall)
We are currently in flower week 2, day 10, a total of 47 days since germination.
Both Future #1 plants are approximately 33 cm in height. A significant stretch has not started yet, but it is expected to begin soon.
It has become clear during this run that the plants have a higher nutrient demand compared to previous grows. They are noticeably more βhungryβ than what I am used to in this setup.
Current feeding level is around EC 1.5, which feels very close to the upper optimal range. A few leaf tips show slight lightening β not classic nutrient burn, but more of a subtle βrunning at the limitβ signal. For now, I do not plan to increase EC any further.
The canopy is dense, overall color is deep and healthy, and flower formation is progressing cleanly.
The next phase will show how strong the stretch becomes and whether the current EC level remains stable throughout early flowering.

AlpenZilla Quick update focused on the two Future #1 plants.
Both Future #1 plants appear to be relatively light-sensitive. Future #1 #2 does not tolerate ~600 PPFD well and has been showing clear tacoing leaves since reaching that intensity. Future #1 #1 does not show the same response, so this looks more like a plant/phenotype-specific sensitivity rather than a general setup issue.
βοΈ Training / Defoliation
Flower Week 3: lollipopping
Flower Week 4: another heavy schwazzing defoliation
π§ Parameters
Input: EC 1.5 | pH 6.2 (approx. 33% of the feeding schedule)
Drain: EC 1.5 | pH 6.5
Overall stability is good. Next step is to keep monitoring stretch and flower build-up, and especially how Future #1 continues to respond to the current light intensity over the coming days.

AlpenZilla πΈ Flowering β Week 6 | Day 38 (Day 74 overall)
Quick update focused on the Future #1 plants.
Compared to the Strawberry AK, both Future #1 plants are progressing more slowly at this stage. In terms of flower development, they currently appear to be around two weeks behind.
Aside from that, the run remains stable overall. At this point, it is mainly a matter of letting them continue and observing how they develop over the next few weeks.

AlpenZilla πΈ Flowering β Week 7 | Day 48 (Day 83 overall)
Quick update focused on the Future #1 plants.
It has become quite clear by now that both Future #1 plants need more time than originally expected. In terms of development, they are still clearly behind and will very likely require at least 3 more weeks, possibly longer depending on how they progress over the final stretch.
At this stage, the plan is simply to keep the run stable, continue without unnecessary changes, and give the plants the time they need to fully mature.

AlpenZilla Flowering β Week 10 | Day 67 (Week 15 overall)
Quick update focused on the Future #1 plants.
At this stage, everything is developing largely as expected, with no major surprises. The two Future #1 plants show slightly different levels of maturity, with one being a bit further along than the other, but this remains well within a normal range of variation.
Overall, the grow is running very stable. There is currently very little intervention required. The routine mainly consists of watering roughly every four days and allowing the plants to continue their natural development.
For now, the plan is simply to keep observing and give the plants the time they need to fully finish. πΏ

AlpenZilla βοΈ Harvest β Flowering Week 12 | Day 78 (17 weeks total)
Harvest day for the Future #1 plants.
Both plants were cut after a total runtime of 17 weeks from germination.
βοΈ Wet Weight
Future #1 #1: 1135 g
Future #1 #2: 1150 g
Both plants delivered strong yields, with only minor variation between the two.
πΏ Overall Impression
Visually, the result is very solid. The buds are dense, well-formed, and show a good level of resin production. The run remained stable through to harvest, with no major issues affecting the final outcome.
All material is now hanging to dry, with final results to be evaluated after trimming and dry weight assessment.
A long run overall, but a consistent and worthwhile finish. πΏπͺ
Future #1 showed solid and reliable performance throughout the grow, with stable development and a strong final yield from both plants. The strain took longer than expected to fully finish, but rewarded the extra time with dense, resinous buds and consistent results. Overall, a productive and worthwhile strain, especially for growers who do not mind a slightly longer flowering period.

AlpenZilla Drying & Final Weight β Grow Completed
Drying and trimming are finished, and the final results for the Future #1 plants are in.
βοΈ Final Dry Flower Weight
Future #1 #1: 133.67 g
Future #1 #2: 137.97 g
πΏ Total Future #1 Dry Flower Weight
271.64 g dry flowers
π‘ Grams per Watt
Both Future #1 plants were grown together in the main tent under a 320 W LED running at 80% power.
320 W Γ 0.8 = 256 W effective power
Future #1 total:
133.67 g + 137.97 g = 271.64 g
271.64 g Γ· 256 W = 1.06 g/W
? Kief / Low Temp Crumble Hash
Kief was collected from the trim and processed into Low Temp Crumble Hash.
Future #1 hash yield:
2.5 g
3.8 g
Total Future #1 hash: 6.3 g
β Final Conclusion
Overall, the Future #1 plants delivered a strong and consistent result. Both plants finished with very similar dry weights, showing only minor variation between them.
The final flower yield was solid, with a combined result of 271.64 g dry flowers and an efficiency of 1.06 g/W under the effective LED power used.
The additional 6.3 g of Low Temp Crumble Hash from the trim was a nice bonus and helped round off the run.
Final result for the Future #1 part of the grow:
271.64 g dry flowers
6.3 g Low Temp Crumble Hash
1.06 g/W
A long run, but definitely a successful finish. πΏπ₯
