TruTraTri New year, new germination. Popped after 2 days 👻 We have Lexx, Kai, Stanley and Zev as names (it's a series ;-) ). Modern times, so it's not decided who is who 😜 Perhaps I'll save one for outdoors or just keep most healthiest. I planned Autopots 1Pot, but I substituted the plastic (8?L) pot with a fitting 11L fabric pot. Looks a bit silly and I hope it doesn't break if I wet the soil. I don't like it but I think I am going with ScroG again. “Organic matter detected.” — Lexx “Life… has begun.” — Kai “Something is growing in the Dark Zone.” — Stanley Tweedle “Something beautiful always grows out of chaos.” — Zev edit: D3 they already showed up with their first set of true leaves. Wanted to make 10D of germination, Well.. I'll make it 3. So fast I hope it's not an auto 😂 edit: watch the series!

TruTraTri Light adjustments because the box is finally free. Maybe it was a bit too comfortable but no major damage. Still 1 a bit sloppy, three similar (2 of them nearly identical). TruTraTri Always the same mistakes.. over and over again 😂 Last week - Stressed because of light change This week - 1) After slight stress signs.. I got too excited so I transplanted too early ... as always... and at not 100% health. 2) As result probably some watering/root issues. 3) As I repotted I saw first sprouts of new shoots. So I decided to remove the first pair. Of course way too early, more like grinding it off instead of cutting or clipping 😎 (4. Perhaps I was a bit off with my recycling this time so could be a bit burned, too. 5. Included an auto in a free spot.. IDK how many times I told me to not do that) (https://growdiaries.com/diaries/297548-grow-journal-by-trutratri) Possible nothing, mix of everything or they focues on growth below. Well, I just couldn't let them take a rest or even recover. 😒 Nonetheless, just 1 is taking all this accumulated stress serious and looks a bit sad. The others look not at best, but okay. I hope I can just leave them alone for about 3 - 7 days so they can stack up a bit and get a bit darker. I planned for 12/12 in 3 weeks + ScroG. After that stupid acculmulation of everything bad, I am considering of letting the single auto (https://growdiaries.com/diaries/297548-grow-journal-by-trutratri) finish first. With 3-4 additional weeks I could do some training and avoid the ScroG😏 Advantage would be some clones for outdoor season and/or exclude the lush one if she doesn't recover. “I require nourishment.” — Lexx “I obey without emotion.” — Kai “This is a nightmare. I’m awake, right?” — Stanley Tweedle “I won’t be owned.” — Zev Bellringer

TruTraTri I'm impressed by my self-restraint. I could hold myself back for 3 days. The plants were just on the edge of getting healthy. 😒 Topping in 3-5 days would be perfect but I don't care about what I think so did it early. With less stress signals they look healthier.. mission accomplished😅 The stressed one catched up a bit, one is still a bit taller, 2 very simmilar. Next steps.. keep your fingers off the plants.😛 “My captain is Stanley Tweedle. TruTraTri After the decission to let the auto finish first.... They recovered too fast and went wild. 😸 If it wasn't for the auto I would've switched them. As I planned ahead wisely, I had to cut off some stuff and play around. 😒 💩💩💩💩 Lexx has one node more than the others. As I can't switch or install the ScroG I'll keep them low and .. in bad shape? 😸💩 Hope they are a bit shocked by the extensive training and need some recovery time. Lexx + Kai + Stan (looked worst) look similar. Zev seems somehow lighter (not color) and a bit more internodial spacing. Lexx: Removed lowest set of shoots. 3 remaining sets topped (=2 set of shoots + 1 set "top" shoots). Kai: Removed lowest set of shoots. set of "top" shoots topped again, removed shoots of the (initially) third set of shoots (now only set of shoots beside the 2 tops). Completely ripped off one of the "top" shoots while "LST"n it around.. perhaps I should consider my LST as HST. It's off but this plant is a miracle from time to time, so I just left it around loosely😹 I did not even try to remove cable ties, as I was afraid it would just fall down if I touch it. If it wilts away I'm fine, if not I am fine. Stan: Removed lowest set of shoots. 2 remaining sets topped (=1 set of shoots + 1 set "top" shoots). Zev: Removed lowest set of shoots. 2 remaining sets topped (=1 set of shoots + 1 set "top" shoots). Auto: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/297548-grow-journal-by-trutratri “I love you, Stanley.” — Lexx “I was a soldier.” — Kai “This ship hates me.” — Stanley Tweedle “I don’t know what I want.” — Zev Bellringer

TruTraTri Too bad with the auto, they want a switch. As it seems to be totally dope to make pictures with lighters/fists and buds, hands and leaves (out of dope angles or distance.😜) ... get lost with your puny little hands. 4 (not the largest, and ordered at the smaller sides) leaves = 1m 😂 Well nothing to be proud of, if you cut it off, right? 😜 Anyway, as you can see in the picture with the roots. Air pruning works and roots really don't like air or light 😂. Seriously, this is just indicating my freaking high humidity level which ruined the auto somehow (https://growdiaries.com/diaries/297548-grow-journal-by-trutratri). Plants are probably happy, but I need to lower humidity so I defoliated to enable a better air flow. Autopots are turned off again. As they are ready to switch I just need to finish the auto and keep them as small as possible. Depending on the development of the auto, I'll adjust the training. (I totally wanted to avoid that....😡 I can't even install the ScroG because of the auto💩) Lexx: Defoliation Kai: Healed fast and strong, after 3 days it was already fixed and I could add the LST clip. Old set of shoots at the lowest set of shoots removed + topping (all plants are now topped 4 times after the first topping). It's nice to check the broken branch and you can see the energy the plant is taking up for the healing process and it developed deficiencies. I'm not so into detail, but perhaps interesting for someone (DWC or Coco) who can add specific nutrition. Stan: Defoliation Zev: Defoliation Overall, I am very happy with the vegetative properties of all 4 plants. They are not the most explosive I've ever had, but they are hard and sturdy worker (still fast and strong). For me this is just perfect, as you can control the plant very well and adjust without getting all stressed out 😅. The growth is very strong, thick stem (without much air flow), took training well, mess up with Kai healed very very fast, pest resistant, (large leaves😜), good uniformity. “I await command.” — Lexx “I am a warrior.” — Kai “Nothing ever works!” — Stanley Tweedle “I don’t belong to anyone.” — Zev Bellringer

TruTraTri Well, the auto is still in my way. 👿 Somehow they smell already, I think this means they also think they should be flipped 😛. Can't install the ScroG, so I am treating them as bad (to be honest.. without intention 💩😂) as possible. Heavy defoliation and "training"to keep them and RH low. Fungus gnats everywhere around, but they don't seem to mind too much. After several training intervalls (I intentionally wanted to avoid with a ScroG, but I had to put in an auto), only Zev wasn't amputated up until now. 😹😹😹😹 So clumsy. Lexx: Defoliation + LST, one straight break. 😓 Don't think this will survive. Kai: Defoliation + LST. Separated limb healed, is a bit smaller, but fine. Stan: Two days before picture one straight break. Don't think this will survive. Defolation + LST. Zev: Defoliation Sadly, the breaks with Lexx and Stan were horrific, like a cut with a knife (sharper than my own😂). I don't want to top anymore, but Zev wasn't harmed as much as the others. Perhaps she get toped. Hoping for harvest of the auto, the earlier the better. “Specify destruction coordinates.” — Lexx “I remember pain.” — Kai “This is the worst day of my life.” — Stanley Tweedle “I choose my own destiny.” — Zev Bellringer

TruTraTri Finally, the auto is gone. Tztztz not ladylike to show off like that in veg. A bit droopy, because they were very thirsty. Didn't turn on the autopots for the past two weeks, because of the finishing auto. To inhibit fungus gnats, lower RH and because I can't reach the plants easily.. heavy defoliation. Made no sense but I felt the urge to change position of Stanley (back left; now back right) and Zev (back right, now back left). Didn't really check for the broken stuff. Stanley had some wilted leaves at the mess up. Everything else seemed fine. Good properties. Slight light adjustment and fresh water. Depending on their reaction to the new condition and haircut I'll raise wattage and lower distance step by step and switch to bloom ASAP. If they stay healthy switch in 3-7 days. After heavy defoliation, first Scrog forced onto the plants. This one is just for even the canopy a little bit and widen everything a bit, 2nd ScroG to stabilize and fine adjustment (if nothing goes horribly wrong) So soon switch and .... May His Divine Shadow fall upon you.💀 “Prepare for destruction.” — Lexx “I was Brunnen-G.” — Kai “This is a catastrophe!” — Stanley Tweedle “I refuse.” — Zev Bellringer

TruTraTri Repeated heavy defoliation and branch removal. Missed the chance to give an early structure because of the auto 😇💩. Light adjustments in several steps: Distance: 55 cm down to 40 cm (last week need to raise to 55 from 40) Wattage: 140W - 170W Hours: 18h - 14h Forcing the fabric pots inside small Autopots was no good idea. My soil is very heavy and can store much water + leaf mass + ventilation - the water was literally running down the walls of the box at night. No irrigation for the whole week. After last defoliation I gave them 20L fresh tap water to be prepared for the stretch. Switch in 1-3 days. Have to check from day to day how they handle the last defoliation. Overall, without the auto this would've been much shorter and ... well structured 💩. Anyway: Lexx + Kai: Similar. Strong branches. edit: Perhaps a bit early, but I don't want to run into height problems. Don't know how much stretch to expect. -- switch Zev + Stanley: Similar. Stretchy and bushier with lush branches. Somehow they "feel" like clones. The reattached branch of Zev seemed mouldy, as the branches seemed week I removed a bit more on these 2. Well, for the horrific treatment they are doing fine.😋 “I require orders.” — Lexx “I do not require sleep.” — Kai “Why does this always happen to me?” — Stanley Tweedle “I want love.” — Zev Bellringer

TruTraTri Was annoyed by one leaf. Sadly I mistargeted... took of one main branch of Kai. 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩 Well more than 10% gone 😏😎 Best would've been veg, but at switch... the earlier the better .. I hope something profits from my mess up.😅 Except that nothing to do. Stretch is not too wild so I keep a rather large distance. Zev is a bit stretchier but the canopy is more or less fine. “As you command, captain.” — Lexx “It feels... TruTraTri Wanted to wait 2 weeks, but it was too crowded. Did a big defoliation + Lolly. It seems much if you look at the canopy, but the undercanopy pictures show that even more was removed. 😅 Think Kai is performing best. Strong branches. Lexx similar. Removed 2 of the lowest 4 branches, looked weak. Zev is still a bit lighter and wobbly. Just too many branches and shoots. More like a clone. Stan similar to Zev but also a bit smaller .. ruins the height profile 👿😂 Light is ~90% (200W) keep it like that for ~2 weeks. Last height adjustment to 45cm. I let them grow to ~35 cm and keep the distance. ~2 weeks. In 2 weeks full power + 30 cm. Hope I can also skip on defoliation for the next 2 weeks😅. Wouldn't bet on it.👻😹 “Which planet would you like me to destroy?” — Lexx “Who do you want me to kill?” — Kai “To a planet where people aren’t so rude.” — Stanley Tweedle “Don’t you even joke about leaving me behind, Stanley Tweedle.” — Zev Bellringer

TruTraTri Defoliation. Took 2 small branches of Lexx and some more of Stanley. Lexx and Kai are very similar. Zev is a little bit "lighter". Stanley is smaller with more branches. Well, I don't have the best access to Stan. Canopy is not perfect but more or less even. Not too good visible with lights on, but they are slighty too green for my taste.. also fine. Still got some height left to adjust. Final distance to lamp will be 35 cm, so they can grow a little - then I'll keep distance, still 15-20 cm left to raise the lamp. But I think stretch is more or less over. Wattage 200W until BW 6-7 (😂😂😂😂). Likewise to photography I am not too good with video. 😎 “I am still unable to locate the Stripper crew, Stan.” — Lexx “Perhaps in the Dark Zone, I will be light.” — Kai “I should be captain because I am the captain.” — Stanley Tweedle “I used to want to die, but now I want to live.” — Zev Bellringer

TruTraTri Nothing to do, except a bit defoliation to lower humidity (spikes) at night. Well, that does not work too good.😏 Beyond 90%.💀 I hope/think she gets a bit cold at night and develops some colors. Burn or deficiencies would not be manageable. So it's color!👽👻 It's right around some edges and crawling between the veins. Anyway, if it's color .. at such early stage this will be an eye catcher - regardless of the buds😈😻 Defoliation was already a smelly and messy work. Trichomes are developing, stretch is slowing down, buds are packing. Atm smell is super sweet and candy and strong. Hope my charcoil keeps it up till the end🙏 As they seem to be done stretching and building up, I skip on the BW 6-7 (👻) increase of light and do it next week. Outlook for weeks till harvest: - Defoliation if necessary - Full wattage (220W) at 35cm - next week - let them grow to 30 cm and keep the distance - week after next - harvest 👽 “Would you like me to blow it up for you?” — Lexx “I do not float.” — Kai @Kushycat (Kai ist keine Hexe!) “The Lexx can fly itself.” — Stanley Tweedle “I just want Kai to have his fun.” — Zev Bellringer

TruTraTri Nagging, unsatisfaction and whining is kinda my thing. So I am disappointed this week 😤😪 Without "real" cause. 😏 Checked all the Blackwater diaries - I wanted that look from the Ukhta contest (mentioned growers). Overall, there are 7 with this specific look and 2 (+ mine (with 4 seeds)👿👿😭😭) without it. The pheno I hoped for seems to not developed any "hairs". 😤😤😤 As this was my main and single target for this run ..... 💩💩💩 Anyway... if I'd wipe my tears away and discard the target of the run... Full wattage (220W @~30 cm). The coloring of the leaves intensified, still not completely sure how much of it is natural/cold or deficiency driven. With "normal" illumination they look still healthy and green with evenly coloration, so I am on the natural colored side😅. Bud development could be worse.... Perhaps the second top was a bit too much for small pots. I did not count or adjusted, but I'd estimate that ~90-95% of the squares of the ScroG have a headbud inside. Well.. just have to wait for the finish line.. the harvest can't make big enough numbers to make up for the missing look! 😹 I raised the temperature a bit, so RH spikes at night are "down" to around 80% - no defoliation this week. For a positive end of the week ... My filter started to smell (positive😎). Was not too bad, so I did not have to rely on any express/amazon or local shop. Thx @ https://www.green-paradise.de/ Just searched for the lowest price for a new K2600. Order friday, delivery saturday (without any express/priority shipping!). Next week: - Minor defoliation - Autopots turned off, perhaps finished with irrigating already - 3-4 weeks to go “I am sorry Stanley - I tried my best.” — Lexx “I do not believe in prophecies.” — Kai “Oh well, well that’s just great.” — Stanley Tweedle "Let’s find ourselves a new home.” — Zev Bellringer

TruTraTri Minor defoliation + no irrigation to lower RH at night Still a bit high ~70-80%. Can't really do anything because of the heavy heavy heavy heavy heavy smell. Also sticky like hell.... harvest will be no fun at all! 😈 I did not see too much weight gain and they are fading fast, but I still have some hope for a little bit fattening. Lexx and Kai are in sync with fast ripening. Zev seems to take a bit longer, but with denser and a bit larger buds. Stanley sucks.💩😂 Well, no not really.. a bit smaller, buds smaller, too far away and not reachable.. so do what every you like😎 Small dosage of tap water ( 200W (perhaps midweek) - if i can stand the smell perhaps minor defoliation OT: Happy Wrestlemania weekend. Bad first night, let's hope for the second!😜 “I cannot fulfil your command. They are forces under the immediate direction of His Divine Shadow.” — Lexx “No, I was not aware of him. TruTraTri Another reason - beside not reaching the corner - to hate ScroG is that you just cant lift the pot.. 💩 RH was dropping a bit too fast, started to irrigate again. Not too bad, as the Lexx and the crew seem to enjoy the journey a bit longer than macroscopical visible. 😏 No defoliation as the RH was low enough and I was also lazy enough to not do it. 👌😹 Well, can't get over my missed look I aimed for. 😜😂 If I leave that heartbreaking fact aside, only negative thing to say would be too bad it's indoors. With daylight it's really an eyecatcher, nice colors from bottom to top - autumn - greenish - I honestly don't know the color. Black is not a color (and it's not black😂), it's not purple, not dark green.. purple brown? Purown? I am happy my picture taking skills have no impact on trichome production 😂. If anyone is interested and looks at my pictures I am really sorry😿 Thought they finish quick but as they seem to start over again, developement seems to be more in sync. Think even with bad quality pictures .. trichome numbers are fine, right? 😅 As long as they are fattening up I'll irrigate from time to time and keep the wattage at 220W. I am eager to see how they develop. “No, Stan - I do not understand.” — Lexx “Out of blood.” — Kai “Oh, I’ve seen enough. TruTraTri *mumble* missing looks *mumble*.......😹 so sad about this 🤣 Positive .... last two weeks they really fattened and hardened. Didn't expect they have so much juice left. 💪👍 Negative ... too tiny indoor and ScrOG so the beautiful colors are hidden almost all the time, not beautiful with my LED combination and not accessable 😅 - seems like I have to random hate ScrOG if I don't cry about... .... 👽 *mumble* Already mentioned - but stinky AF and sticky. Early harvest would be possible for all and I think Kai is ready to go. Nonetheless, harvest is no joy for me. The more smell and sticky stuff (I later enjoy of course😜), the faster I get super annoyed 😂. So I am just trying to harvest sometime in the future but not today... same is true for tommorow😹. Think nothing good or bad will happen anymore. The leaves are not completely dried out or lush - they must live what is left in the soil and in the leaves. - Wattage 220W down to 190W - One week at max till harvest - hope some people get inspired to watch this exquisite series (Lexx).. 😈 Outlook: - final week for GD - harvest + curing - 3 months - harvest week for gd + smoke report. “I feel good too, captain - and I will feel even better when I eat that little tiny snack ahead of us.” — Lexx “Our journey will be long. The chance of mechanical failure over such a period is not insignificant.” — Kai “Good. TruTraTri Last flowering update, already harvested. Coolest song intro ever .. 😂 They look a bit sad, somehow mix of drought and natural end of life. Was nothing to do but wait for harvest.. or more like convincing my self to do the worst part of growing. I love the smell of cannabis.... this was just cruel and hurtfull. I am so happy I canceled my outdoor plans with this strain, if you have any respect of your neighborhood it's just not possible. 😈 After 1 month my new filter gave up, headache and sick after harvest. Completely off the scale.. sickening. (Perhaps something good because it has enough potential to smell that bad 😂) Likewise stickiness... it was all over the place, my tumble trimmer gave up because it's soooooo gluey the buds stuck together and it's nearly impossible to separate.💀 So ... idk I think bubble hash makes few sense for small batch grower and I did not want to do it ever again.. but I would highly recommend fresh frozen bubble hash. Or a big enough box with some furniture to harvest inside. Then again.. you are not a small batch grower 😂 Anyway, I don't like harvest at all.. so my negative things are probably real good signs for a highly potent product. 😅 The looks were not like I wanted, but nice phenos and 1 (Stan) midway looking. Very fast, could've harvested earlier. High trichome density, which are spreaded everywhere. If you are not going for bubble hash (which I think would be awesome with this strain), I'd recommend go for few buds or just headbuds/SoG.. harvest would be quicker. 😜😹 As I was not sure about the stretch I flipped very fast, as the stretch was midway they could've had one more week of veg to get some height. Luckily this is probably one reason the yield was not too high. Bud sizes are more or less in the same range on one plant. I couldn't reach Stan for proper Lolly and training, but they are all round about ~200g wet, so cutting off some stuff didn't have major impact on the yield, but the reduction really helped to stack up the remaining buds. Harvest update after cure or rosin tests. Otherwise I'd be too lazy for the rest. Thanks for the interest, if anyone had some 😘 Next update in 1-3 months 😎👻 “I can still blow up planets for now, but I am very hungry.” — Lexx “There is no right place for the dead - to live.” — Kai “Goodbye, little blue planet! I feel good - how about you?” — Stanley Tweedle “Wait a second - if that's a country, then doesn't it possibly have lots of people?” — Zev Bellringer

Trichome monster. Few stretch. Heaviest smell. Pheno variation. Looks Would've go for 8 or 9 stars because I don't like too much differences of expected outcome/phenos, but trichomes on this genetic are beyond the 10 point scale.

TruTraTri Too stinky to make pictures during harvest .. so wet = just before choping them down. Everything else mentioned and/or shown in pictures and videos. Overall, still sad about the missing looks / Pheno variation. Still traumatized by the smell 👽👻😂 Don't have the looks I wanted, but the trichome density on my phenos are also insane. Buds are okay to smoke... rosin popcorn pressed very well... dry sift out of bad material was also fine. 510 g wet (everything) 310 g dry (poor plants, seems like they were dried out😂) = ~200g buds + 2g 120µ Rosin (14g Popcorn)+ 2g 72µ Rosin (11g Popcorn) + 4g dry sift (melts if you stare at it - 85g leftovers mostly out of the tumble trimmer) Thanks again for the great growers who showed this interesting genetic and @OriginalSensible for the seeds 😎 Thanks to all growers who joined me on this grow. 😎 Watch the series! “I am sorry Stanley. It's too late. I cannot go back.” — Lexx “Then we will have something in common. And I will return, 790.” — Kai “So, I guess this is goodbye.” — Stanley Tweedle “I’ll miss you Stan.” — Zev Bellringer

TruTraTri Wasn't happy with the glittering dry sift leftovers. Checked with the microscope and was still not happy 😅 So made some rosin. Little harvest update/sum up: 200g buds 4g dry sift 2g 120µm Rosin 2g 72µm Rosin 5-6g (forgot to weigh empty containers) dry sift leftover rosin.💪

Sorry if I put some names in but it's all your fault! I wanted to make a little break from making pictures every week .. but well. Why Blackwater?! I saw the comment of @MindFlowers68 in the Ukhta contest. What can I say.. all true for every picture of all growers ( @CanarianGrow92, @Rock_n_Roll_Randy, @CorinnaFarm ). I hope I can be half as successfull as your grows. Thx already for putting your pictures in the contest and showing me this strain, even if I can not achieve your results. Much respect to all of you! Thx @OriginalSensible for the seeds and sweetest mail contact. 😎 I hope I don't ruin it 😅 edit: Happy new year to all of the force mentioned. Best buds and wishes for you!🙏🙏🙏🙏
