MalumProhibitum It's time :)
I think the postmaster was angry the day of delivery as it turns out the package was pressed into the slit of my postbox with such force the seed capsule was crushed so violently, I could see marks on the little white lid; who normally seals the container shut. Fortunately the seeds were still in the broken package and only one of the seeds had been nicked, and was missing a tiny bit of it's shell, who had been clean cut, most likley from being up on top, being cut by a sharp plastic fragment from the container itself. As I had already a freebie monster maker I just moved the 4x seeds into the 1x seed freebie container; problem solved. If I see the ompalompee who delivers post, i'll tell him he has a key to unlock my postbox if the package he is delivering is bigger than a thin letter, fcking low iQ brute xD
I dropped the nicked seed into soil, and added another pristine seed to the soil too, in case the injured one wouldn't succeed in germinating.
As I mentioned I had recieved a frebie monstermaker from my last order, and given the high germination rate I've had with the seeds before I felt 4/5 seeds germinating would still be more than OK, and I didnt bother reporting the issue.
Turns out though, both seeds germnated, so I guess even injured seeds can make it. I just took an extra step, microwaving the soil pre germnation to make sure nothing would mess with the seed the first week.
Being nicked stressed the shit out of the poor little seedling, who at the moment is ahead of it's sibling by like a day; breaking the soil surface 6h before her sibling too, leaving the shell in the soil as opposed to the other seedlings; carrying their seed-husk-hat 1 extra day..
Furtunately only a tiny fraction of the cotyledons was missing, and the true leaves looks OK! --Monster-warrior-princess :)
Running them under the 5W LED 24h light first week, maybe second week too, depending how things develop. No space to park them in the grow-room, and 12/12 from seed feels like a NO.
Plan is to VEG them for 2-3 weeks + germination week, so a total of 1 month veg, then flip em, and hopefully by then I have harvested all the chilies & strawberries, collected seeds and composted them all, to leave some room for the real-deal! xD
Whatever the breeder is feeding the mothers @sweetseeds it seems to provide the perfect mix for seedlings to thrive, as theese little bastards are lush green and the soil has about the same nutritional value as toilet paper as it's the depleted Purple Punch OG soil. So far so good, gonna mix some low_medium_666truePPM_veg_nutes later today, as all seedlings has started forming their true leaves already and will need some nutrients in the soil, before they start stealing mobile nutes from the cotyledons as they transition into week 2, first week of veg:)
