Making Monster(s)👹💞🗿. Week 0 - MM left MaHuang middle and SCS right.

MalumProhibitum It's time :) I think the postmaster was angry the day of delivery as it turns out the package was pressed into the slit of my postbox with such force the seed capsule was crushed so violently, I could see marks on the little white lid; who normally seals the container shut. Fortunately the seeds were still rolling about in the broken package and only one of the seeds had been nicked, and was missing a tiny bit of it's shell. As I had already a freebie monster maker I just moved the 4x seeds into the freebie container; problem solved. If I see the dude who delivers post, i'll tell it to unlock my postbox if the package being delivered is bigger than a thin letter, fcking low iQ brute xD I dropped the nicked seed into soil, and added another pristine seed to the soil too, in case the injured one wouldn't succeed in germinating. I took an extra step, washing and microwaving a fist full of soil before adding the injured seed to make sure no bugs/germs/fungi would mess with the seed the first week. The tip/side of the cotyledons was missing as the seedling came up, but the true leaves looks ok! --Monster-warrior-princess :) Running them under the 5W LED 24h light first week, maybe second week too, depending how things develop. No space to park them in the grow-room just yet. Plan is to VEG them for 2-3 weeks + germination week, so a total of 1 month veg, then flip em, and hopefully by then I have harvested all the chilies & strawberries, collected seeds and composted them all, to leave some room for the real-deal! xD Week 1 done, they are a bit leggy but that's expected, given they have shared a 5W LED for 4-5 days. I kinda prefer a 10cm leggy seedling over a broad-leaf 2-3cm one, where the leaves have a tendency to touch the soil, get dirty and shieeet.

MalumProhibitum Uneventful week. They look a bit stressed out as I have moved them into the flower room, but as they havn't expressed any irreversible tissue-dmg I just keep blasting. I could move them a bit further from the lights, but I like the bushy/stout; but droopy-shape they have right now and want to prevent them from stretching. The yellow tone in the new growth looks allmost the same as new growth when flipped to flower/12-12 light. I'll keep cooking them for a bit longer as the development looks ok. I noticed some subtle nitrogen-claws on some of the fan-leaves, while simultaniously the off-yellowing on other leaves, leading me to believe it's light related. Going from 5W to 50W might be a contributing factor :) All plants are going hard a.f. I think I'll let them VEG this week and the next, giving them a total of 3 weeks VEG+Germination week. So.. 28 days after seeds arrived they should be ready for FLOWER phase :)

MalumProhibitum I moved the pot to the background as the leaves showed signs of not being able to keep up with the intense light, leaves slightly droopy and a slight discoloration into a subtle yellow. As they are recovering in the back the Scs-F1's had to move slightly forward, further increasing the intensity of the lights, but neither of them seems to be bothered by it, they just keep growing. I might have pushed N a bit too far, slight clawing; not good this close to flipping to flower..

MalumProhibitum Week 4 veg, but as I include germination-week it's week 5 total, I hate to count week 1 as week 0, messes with my head so G0 is G1 hence there is no veg week 1 unless Germination week is presented as the day I open the seed-pack up and drop them in soil, then immediately start week 1 veg the same day.. Like I did with my Dos Si Dos 33 diary. First week is so uneventful I found it redundant and only do like this now. Plus this gives a better overview on how many weeks spent from seed to harvest, where a 3 week until seed germinates would be hidden if counting week 1 as the week seed has germinated, breaks the soil and is spreading it's cotyledons. Somehow I managed to drop my tooth-brush on one of the monsters. The tooth brush landing perfecly in the middle of her; end first like a tank-sabot --allmost breaking her top in half, but the elasticity saved her and only a newly formed fan-leaf at the top was ripped cleanly off the stem. Pristine look no more -- if it isn't bug-bites, nutrient drip on leaves while watering; I still manage to taint them with my clumsy presence.. fuck! 😬.

MalumProhibitum I thought the toothbrush I dropped on her only cut one leaf right off, but seems like it injured one other leaf, just as it was forming, leaving massive holes now when it is 'inflating'😬.

MalumProhibitum One has a strong and pleasant sweet-candy-like smell, allmost borderline banana split notes, and the other doesn't really smell much. Just a tiny hint of permanent marker, comletely robbed of any sweetness. It's so subtle it's initially hard to tell; unless parking the face right over her main cola, and softly drawing in her scent in a deep, very careful inhale through the nose. It hit me --the silent -subtle permanent marker smell one might be a nice one to keep cuttings from for future stealth grows; if the effects are the same, just less candy-like terpenes. Maybe collect the 2-4 lowest branches, root them and do a massive SOG later, so many ideas all of a sudden, lots of options :) The strongest smelling, still not very loud sweet-candy monster is my current favourite, and that too need cuttings taken from, even if I won't be able to grow for a long time I might be able to run a hidden bonsai. I realize I'm taking a break after this harvest, and won't be able to grow for a while so going big won't be an option. It's intrersting how quick plans emerge for new grows! xD I must preserve em as I'd regret the chop forever if theese two seeds are a lucky fluke, like a hybrid getting separated at the seed stage, taking on the perfect traits from the parent plants for my needs. In the last grow, before moving.. I'll have to sleep on this desicion and taking cuttings later, 2 weeks into flower, stressing the plants.. but then again stressing shouldn't be an issue either, I allmost want to scress them to the max, to get the herm traits out before making a sog later and destroy any plant showing signs of not being 100% stable XX genetics. I'll give them few more weeks, then remove the lower branches, but leave the branches still intact with one set of popcorn bud left on the branch plus some leaves to re-veg all of the plant, plus root 2-4 cuttings.

MalumProhibitum Sweet honeydew (melon) & stealthy tart permanent marker smell--take a pick; sweet candy like aromas or stealthy subtle chem herb! :) The marker phoeno initially made me go --wtf?!? As this isn't a smell I'm used to, and I was very confused. But now when I looked into MM lineage I want both, the sweet one in particular :D Soon halfway through flower, and I'm looking forward to theese two, especially the sweet one as I have moved more and more towards weed that smells like candy & fruits. The subtle chemical notes from MM#2 are a new experience for me, and I appreciate how subtle they are, but for my personal preference my imagination is already imagining the smell when I crack open a jar of the swet one, after 1 month cure.. Right now it's just sweet & fruity on the menu; O'l skunky, heavy spice & herbal notes are flavours of the past and will have to stay in the background, while I explore :) I'll keep the permanent marker smelling phoeno too because of how tart and subtle she is and it would be interesting to find out how loud a 3x4 clone SOG would turn out. Two perfect stealth strains either way; Sweet honeydew vs permanent marker, keeping the neighbours happy and the o'l weed-smell away. SCS#1 smells about the same as when growing Purple Punch OG, with a bit more spice noes, pepper in particular. I am still hoping that one will develop into more fruity aromas and know from experience the scent now will be completely different experience as buds are dried and cured. The #2 smells roughly the same as the sweet monster, but with a hint of nuts. It's about 10cm shorter than the other plants, but sill close to a meter and buds are the same size. That one will be saved for later grows, both cuttings for cloning and also keeping the original plant for a bonsai, remove from 10l pot, prune roots and put in a smaller 1l pot to preserve the original mother for more cuttings. I'm not familiar with taking cuttings from cuttings, from cuttings, salvia divinorum style and have this feeling the buds will be smaller and the grow slower etc, completely taken from thin air and not even anecdotal xD. As the SCS#1 & 2 look very much like this, and the only difference is the smell really I'll just settle with writing this, no updates; back to smoking Purple Punch OG! xDDD Don't want to turn the diaries into a second job, and as of late this is how I've felt, with all the grow projects going, which is fine, but the documenting part, taking photos, keeping track of what I'm doing and uploading etc has been a bit of a pain in the ass; not gonna lie. Right now i just want to enjoy my freedom, strolling around in just underwear high a.f, eat good food, take a talk, then back to smoking, and enjoying a long sleep and back to smoking ; basicly enjoying myself. Munching on Honeycrisp Apples, peanuts, stir-fried food & drinking carbonated water and feeling great! xD The Syrian Rue, Ma Huang and chlies are all thriving, and the only thing not in complete sync with reality right now is me and my werekly updates.

MalumProhibitum Uneventful week. I just water once / 4 days and mist the topsoil with a sprayer to keep occupied and distract me from watering too soon. The permanent-marker pheno is still smelling like a chem-marker aroma, with a subtle scent of carrots, while the sweet one is upholding its reputation as the strongest-smelling sweet-lime-candy and honeydew (melon), with some sour notes, "sour" as in breaking open a red raspberry, fruity/berry-sour & a touch of banana split dessert, very fruity & candy-like! :) Sweet one has the most appealing smell and also the overall shape; the bud structure is particularly to my liking, reminding me of my Chocolate Face OG. Since the buds are getting this dense already and I have 4-6 weeks left before harvest I decided to open up the central ventilation to increase airflow and lower RH in the grow room down to a staggering 45%. I'll push it back to 63% once it's time for harvest, drying and curing, but from now on it's low RH, because I do not want to fck this up with mold/mould.

MalumProhibitum I cracked open a sample of the pepper pheno, expecting strawberries and Coca-Cola--after all, the strain’s called Strawberry Cola. But the first whiff told a different story: popcorn buds so sticky they practically glued themselves to my fingers and a chem-heavy aroma--acetone and diesel, with just a subtle touch of sour candy. I thought, “Alright, this is going to taste like pure diesel…” Then I took a vape. Surprise. The flavor was candy cola--the kind you drizzle over ice cream or scoop into a dessert. Not the Coca-Cola soda taste I imagined, but somehow even better. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any more unexpected, that almondy note hit. It whisked me back to a weekend of opium in 2022, the tasty almond biscuit flavor that sneaks up on you and lingers. I could chop now, but the trichomes tell me to wait: still clear and cloudy, no amber yet. I’ll keep my patience, watch for nanners, and savor the anticipation. She’s got that ripe look already, but I have no urge to rush things, and she is still producing new flowers. And also I'm too high right now to function it seems as this post should be in the scs diary.. The perception of feeling sharp, yet being dumb, story of my life! xD ---------- An excellent producer, the sweet one, marker pheno a bit more average leaning and the taste is subtle common gassy weed taste --a decent mix of herbal notes, a bit of gas and a hint of frankincense/olibanum, like the smell of an ancient christian church. The sweet one has more sweet pine, herbal notes with a touch of gas.. a bit like the red hot cookies I grew earlier, a gassy; hot engine, daddy smoke xD **Edit: Not sure wtf i was doing before bed last night, seems I was in auto pilot mode, and left things in a disarray and now it looks like I was doing some sideshow things not manking sense any longer; salt being in the freezer together with the dried oregano for starters was a nice surprise together with the Ma Huang grow being removed from the grow room, put under the kitchen FAN LED, but the light was off. I don't even recall moving the pots out from the grow room. It seems like I have been taking a lot of samples last night... greening out.. Excellent producer on the sweet one, bit more moderate on the permanent marker pheno, but I like smoking both of them, leaning to the marker being more "exotic" to me, where the sweet one is more regular weed. I do not like the permanent marker smell, and much more prefer the sweet one, but as I have already vaped some samples of the permanent marker pheno I like that one too as the smoke and effects are really nice. The marker vape is allmost void of sweetness, and it a more robust tobacco like fragrance that is very pleasant and it's easy to green out due to forgetting it's full of THC, and once the effects start to kick in it's too late xD

Pretty much all I'm looking for in a plant: +Excellent growth +Very forgiving +Produce massive colas +Easy to get a decent harvest +Easy to trim as they have a high flower to leaf ratio. ++Stealthy smell, either marker/carrot scent or a a subtle sweet candy aroma. +++Excellent taste and effects when vaping/smoking her a sweet pine scent is transitioning into a mix of vanilla flavoured waffles for ice-cream & diesel, and as the vape is nearing its end, a lingering berry/grape - -taste emerges. Effects are strong and unforgiving, making it a night-time smoke for sure, unless I want to take a nap after waking up! xD It's so damn delicious and it's hard to just settle with a little uplifting hit, as the heavy narcotic high is very appealing to me. -Doesn't produce purple flowers by default, and one has to really manipulate the plants to get a decent autumn fade. I didn't have the patience and chopped while they were still a faint green.. -Matures in 8 weeks, I let it flower for 10 weeks before chop as the colas kept on swelling, so a late bloomer, but the harvest is nice, dense & voluptuous chicken nuggets! -Not loud weed, so if u a terpene freak a.k.a someone who love smell & taste more than effects, but always pick the THC over CBD and cannot tell the difference between any of the strains, hence needing everything marked with a strain-sticker; and if I add diff labels to same batcth in diff jars you quickly pick a favourite out of the two; while I smile at you and we both nod in agreement, since your nose is so much more developed than mine and you are such a refined connoisseur, which I'm clearly not; this smoke is still for you, so inhale, relax and s.t.f.u! xD ***This will be my new work-horse producer, as it is like a copy of my o'l ChocolateFaceOG, same looks! but the smell and effects of this is more comforting and calming. I wasn't generous with nitrogen during the transition phase and early flower phase, so the harvest took a hit as the flowers has to steal nitrogen from the fan-leaves to develop and once i increased N, it was already too late. Marker pheno didn't swell up to 50g treshold and sweet pheno didnt produce enough beyond 50g to get a 100g harvest; but it was close.. I even enjoy vaping the trim off this mofo.. Normally the trim has this musky scent, allmost sweaty compared to buds... but this schwag smells like.. skittles and vanilla wafers... wtf?!? xD As I planeed to re-veg her, I have put her through a lot of ordeals, irregular light, buds cut in half mid flower, extremely long flower after "chop", pre re-veg and no nanners even after extending flowering to 15weeks and low-lights, so.. soid XX woman w/o XXy! xD It took me roughly 2 weeks constant light to transition her to VEG, so a bit of introduced light pre harvest isn't a big deal, she can handle it. After 2 weeks of constant light she is slowly starting to produce new VEG-leaves, but the old buds are still intact and few more female flowers are still forming, zero nanners/dicks! xDDDDDD Bonsai tree 2/2 -- This is my whifey 2.2. I love her so much! :)

MalumProhibitum 🦄 --"...". I took a lot of samples mid flower to get to know them, to figure out if they were OK with being chopped up, stressed and still no nanners --success. I'm still keeping the bottom part of both plants in the flower room and no signs of nanners after 15 weeks in flower and light being randomly introduced during dark hours.. flipping to VEG!
