FMRverb Hi there and welcome to my first diary!
For this I settled on the „Very Berry Autoflower“ by High Giraffe Seeds, which I got gifted on last years Cannafair.
I use Autopots in 15L pots with Airdomes under up to 150 Watts of LED lights. I grow on Supersoil with organic fertilizers and supplement this with minerals.
Both the strain and the organic fertilizer mix below are new to this run. I have not tried the GHF Bioline so far.
I prepared the 15L autopot 1Pot with the Airdomes 1 day in advance. While waiting for the seedling to come out of the eazyplug, the microbial life can start conditioning the soil.
For the Substrate I used:
60% used Sonneerde Bio-Hanferde
30% Perlite
10% Clay Pebbles
I also mixed in:
2g/L GHF Bio Grow
2g/L GHF Bio Bloom
1,1g/L Biotabs Silizium Flash
3% Sonnenerde Bodenaktivator
1 Tablespoon Biotabs Mycotrex
While filling the pot, I placed one long 2L pot in the middle to leave space for a mixture of lightmix (Anzuchterde) with additional Perlite and Mycotrex. I filled the hole with the mixture. This will ensure a unfertilizeds, fluffy bed for the taproot to go down into.
I soaked the pot with 2l of water with 2g of GHF Bio Enhancer and placed the large germination dome on the pot.
Today I started the germination:
Into 250ml of water I dilluted 1 drop of Plagron Seedboster Plus. I pluged the seed with the pointy side down into the eazyplug, about 5mm deep and stuffed a little bit of material on top.
I let this soak, slightly and gently press excess water out and place it into a tiny germination dome.
I spray a little water into the dome an place it on top of the 60w LED. That, and frequent remoisturing, will provide the ideal temperature and humidity for germination.
From here it might take 3-4 days until the seedling comes to light and can be potted into the final pot.
Lets hope it will come out or it will be a very short very berry :)
