crimsonecho set up my clone tent 2x2 for this new grow, found some new caledonia seeds at the back of my fridge and iāve been eyeing that dina malawi cross for a while now so here it goes.
soaked in paper towels, taproots showing on most (surprising as the new caledonia was preserved very badly so wouldnāt be surprised if none pokes its head). transplanted into about 2lt of garden mix very coco heavy and a lot of aeration. just added 3/4 tsp of osmocote to each pot.
started them under 24hrs on till all above soil, then one week of 18/6 and then 12/12. after sexing them will cull the males maybe gather pollen from the best new caledonia and set up a drip system for the girls. hoping to finish just by watering as osmocote is pretty strong fertilizer and takes a long time to run out. i chose osmocote for this grow bc in these pot sizes its not viable to do organics ime.
also running the tent with positive pressure because it gives me more space for the time being and i recirculate air in the room so 5 carbon filters i have in the same room scrub the air of any smells.
anyway here goes nothing.

crimsonecho so i sowed 7 new caledonia just to be sure and all broke soil while only 4 dinachem malawi managed to do so.
seeing they are all just at the beginning i cracked 3 more dinachemxmalawi seeds and sowed them in and today 2 more in the same pot broke soil :)
well either case i can always transplant if the other one doesnt brake soil.
anyway we are in veg week 1 for the most of them now.
