I protect the plant by cutting a bottle and pouring around the bottle. 30/01 plants 1 and 2 1 tablet + orgatrex 5ml in 1 liter of water. PH 6.4 push the tablet halfway between the pot and the plant at about 5 cm deep. cover with soil and pour water with orgatrex around the plant and the stem.

PK Management: Plant #1. It is at its peak mineral demand. For Plant #2, the water allows us to see how it finishes digesting its last Orgatrex input before also giving it PK. The branches are now nice and stiff, and the structure is perfectly secured. The LST is a total success. While handling Plant #1 to place it under the net, I was surprised: my fingers came out completely sticky. The resin production is massive. In terms of smell, it’s a delight: it already smells very sweet, like candy. The terpene profile of the Cherry Cola is really coming together. The health is top-notch, the leaves are a perfect green, and the buds are starting to gain nice density. You can notice that a few leaves are starting to lose some dark green, which is a sign that it’s pulling nitrogen from the leaves. I estimate finishing at around 40 grams dry. ​My honest opinion: I'm not going to lie, I'm still disappointed with the Cherry Cola in terms of production. This is the second time I've tried it and the conclusion is the same: it produces a ton of bud sites, but they don't bulk up, they don't "inflate." ​Quality vs Quantity: The time spent / yield ratio isn't there. However, the resin is abundant. It's pure frost, it's definitely going to pack a punch. ​Aroma: Super pleasant. It's not an aggressive smell, it's just the right amount of sweetness with berry notes. They've really nailed it on this point. ​Provisional rating: 7/10. This explains the lack of weight: there's no dense core like you find in other varieties. This is exceptional for extractions, but frustrating for those looking for big, heavy "colas." ​Final senescence: You can clearly see in the photos of #1 before the cut that the leaves had reached the end of their life (clean yellowing). With the pronounced yellowing of the leaves and the visible maturity of the buds (mostly milky trichomes, very few amber), two weeks of plain water will allow it to "cleanse" well and enhance its sweet and spicy aromas. Unlike plant #1, which disappointed me a bit in production, this one seems to have denser buds that are better distributed on the structure. Watering: Today, it received 1.5 liters of clear water with a pH of 6.3. The substrate is well-maintained. 📝 Description and Observations The plant is gorgeous in its end-of-life attire. Visually, everything indicates that it’s drawing on its last resources: Senescence: The yellowing of the large leaves is now very pronounced across the entire structure. The plant is consuming its nutrient stores for final maturation. Resin and Frost: The resin production is exceptional. The buds are compact and seem covered in a layer of silver frost under the LED. Buds: The buds are dense and the flower clusters are well-filled. Almost all the pistils are brown/orange. Smell: The smell has become very strong and overwhelming in the tent. It’s a complex fragrance, heavily sweet with pronounced spicy notes. 🔍 The Contest Dilemma This is the most stressful part of this end of the session. This plant is beautiful and sticky; it deserves its place in the World Autoflowering Contest. But it’s taking so long to finish its maturation cycle that it might arrive “too fresh” for the event. A complete curing is essential for the complex terpenes (sweet/spicy) to fully express and for the smoke to be smooth. Without curing, it might not show its full flavor potential, despite its visual beauty and resinous power. It’s frustrating to have a potential competition flower and not be able to present it in its best condition. I’m not going to rush it; final quality comes first. No choice, I think it will be replaced by the rest of my frostbanger since the entry is already paid. Plants can also be temperamental. Next time I’ll pay more attention to the timing. squalino 📝 My final impressions Quantity vs Quality: I’m going to be honest, even though the buds are quite dense, the quantity isn’t quite there. It’s a bit better than its little sister, but for me, a plant should approach 100g dry to really be worth the time invested. The Cherry Cola seems to prioritize resin over yield. Appearance: It’s a visual marvel. The buds are of rare beauty, completely covered in trichomes, it looks like they’ve been dipped in sugar. Smell: It’s extremely strong! A heavy, sweet, and spicy scent that fills the entire space. Provisional rating: 8/10.
