Budofpray Hello Folks !!
My name is Quick kush…. !!
i'am one of the new strains from dinaFem…
i'am the fruit of retro-auto-process....that gives me again a photoperiod trait !!
but my breeder is proud of who i'am am !
i'am a fast version of my kush parent….and i can roxx as they roxx…. let's see if my breeder makes me with love 😘
unboxing first - germination process incoming 👊👍
Quick kush in on the box….with a PDA solution with bacteria/fungi cocktail….
take a look on my breeder description : 👌
Dinafems Quick Kush Description
Quick Kush is a feminised cannabis seed that speeds the legendary OG Kush up. While the most notable Indica ever needed some 55-63 days to flower, this Quick version is ready for harvest in just 49-56 days. But don’t be fooled by her flowering time: quicker doesn’t mean of poorer quality. She’s still armed with the oil and lemony scent that has attracted so many devotees throughout the history of cannabis as well as with the mind-blowing effect of the most famous strain in California. Because she’s indeed a full-on OG Kush, but way faster.
Spawned from an OG Kush elite clone of ours and a selected male from our OG Kush Auto elite line, Quick Kush turns into a slender, mid-sized plant with large leaves and evenly distributed elongated branches. To these amazing qualities, we must add an exquisite beauty that certainly lives up to her predecessor’s. If her scents, flavours and effects weren’t so exceptional, she could well be a perfect ornamental plant noted for her elegance and splendour.
Yield
Quick Kush is as productive as the original version. Let’s not forget that OG Kush was known, among others, for her incredible yielding capacity, which is, by the way, kept intact in this fast version capable of producing half a kilo indoors and up to 1 kilo outdoors. In terms of quality, she’s the best, as is to be expected from the most famous strain of the west coast. Expect many buds all over the multiple branches of this plant; incredibly compact and resin-packed flowers endowed with an extraordinary potency.
Aromas and flavours
Quick Kush has the power to hypnotize crowds of cannabis lovers with her mostly oily and lemony scent highlighted with smoky undernotes. She will surprise those who come to meet her, that’s for sure. Although the mixture may seem quite strange at first, there must be a reason why everyone rushes back to her again and again, mustn’t there?
Effects
Quick Kush delivers a pretty potent high. Her being quicker than the ‘normal’ version means that she’s exposed to more hours of sunshine and heat, and so reaches her potential more easily, boasting very high THC levels.
The quick rendering of the legendary OG Kush mirrors her mother’s effect. And, obviously, with such high THC rates, it is not a bearable effect, but a really strong kick that is more suitable for fearless cannabis heavyweights.
Cultivation
Quick Kush is ridiculously easy to grow. Fair and square: she’s super resistant, super quick and super grateful. You can spare yourself for other genetics because this one will not demand much attention. She feels at ease in warm and dry climates, and she doesn't require heavy feeding. In fact, a standard watering and feeding regime will be enough for the most famous girl in California to produce numerous thick buds in some 50 days. OG Kush takes quite a lot of time to flower. That’s why we thought that pushing the accelerator a bit would be an interesting twist. A well-founded decision that our team of breeders made after intensely working with this strain.
OUTDOORS:
Lower climate-related risks: in the northern hemisphere, OG Kush is ready for harvest in October, sometimes early this month or by mid-month (Mediterranean area and southern Europe) and in other cases by the end of/mid-October (the rest of Europe). But, thanks to the quick blooming of this Quick version, which is one to two weeks faster, harvest time will arrive after 49-56 days of flowering, by mid-September in southern Europe and a month later up in the north. Her buds will be ready earlier than usual, which means that we’ll no longer have to worry about the rainfall and low temperatures that autumn generally brings with it.
Lower external risks: your plants being ready for harvest 15-7 days earlier implies:
1) A lower risk of becoming a victim of theft (we do know OG Kush is extremely precious. It’s better not to play with fire). Now, with this Quick version, you’ll save yourself a couple of weeks of unnecessary exposure.
2) A lower chance of being spotted. Whether you’re growing in your garden or on your balcony, your neighbours will have a week less to gossip about the delicious oily, lemony and smoky aroma that comes from your house.
INDOORS:
Greater cost-effectiveness: the Quick version is indeed far quicker. Yes, but how quick? Well… about 20 % quicker. This means that, should you decide to grow indoors keeping the lamps on all year long, with OG Kush you’ll obtain 6 crops per year, while with Quick Kush it’s possible to get 7.5 crops/year. No more and no less than 1.5 extra crops per year. Pretty good, right?

Can't wait baby !! 😘
Update :-------------
still waiting...i put 3 seeds at the same time….but like a star she's just waiting 😎…
24 hours later….
She rewarded me by a f*** beautiful mutant root Under fungi/bacteria effects...🙀 WOW ! see the size guys …!! 🙌👍👊
the more complicated for me was to put her gently in her holes….so i took my tweezers, i stopped breathing….and the operation went very smoothly 💪…
Now the mycorrhization of the soil can begin…
for those who have not read my other diary "let mother do the job" feel free to check the fungi/bacteria chapter 👍👍
This roots for me demonstrate few things :
- we can activate by a good PDA the mycorrhization at the very fist stage of germination…
- This PDA can be use as a bio booster/activator, at the beginning but also at each time you want to inoculate fungi/bacteria or do a transplant…
- TNC have a good packaging wich isolate and protect this fungis/bacteria cocktail keeping fresh by a specific vavle...good job guys 👍
- it is better to let 2 days the PDA acts…. if u do a germination….or a transplantation...👌
to be continued

Budofpray - 06/09 - RazorBlade begins to grow well….it's seems to me that it is this latency observed wich is the famous factor "X"...
This seed is the first one to be activated by fungi at germinating start….
but to be in effective action, fungis induce a form of latency wich slowed down a bit at the beginning of the grow….
back to better jump ?? we will see soon if its right 👍

for the moment RB shows sativa traits….wich is a bit disturbing due to her lineage with 75% indica cross…

Budofpray 06/11 RazorBlade growing nicely….
because of the difficult weather conditions…. I can not ask him more…
---------------------------
but there's one thing that I'm really curious about this strain….when i bought this seeds from Dinafem line up….I had 2 important criteria
First : the speed of flowering….
Secondly: its THC power….
well it looks like it's very far from what's advertised by Dinafem themselves...wich talked about 18 up to 25 % thc !!
see datasheet pics folks => 😐
and yesterday i saw a link to a lab test see pics…
transparency is the thing i prefeer in cannabis industry….but this results let me perplexed… 🙀 😒
I feel I was cheated on this purchase...and if its the case….. i Don't like that at all... 😠

After the existential question of Razorbalde and the answer of Mark… RB must have felt bad vibes, and gave me a big depression 😢 😥
She asked me ?? BoP….??
who am I actually…? indica ?
robusta ? arabica ? 🤣🤣🤣 Strong or light ? 🙄🙄
I whispered sweet words to her...and for sure as soon Dinafem will have change their THC lab analysis on their website i would update the last Week… but she struggles to get back in shape

To be honnest…. I'm filled with doubts….
if i decided to become and activist i t's largely because I have a medical need for cannabis....
as i said on my main diary let mother nature do the job,.. if i chose first a strain its by effects i need…in that case i bought this Kush because an OG kush is an indica with some effect of indica
and if finally the strain we bought are to the opposite….clearly it's a problem for me….

Budofpray Previously on (now am really) Fast and (still) Curious….
things Evolved a lot….as if she was a Sativa dominant she goes through the heatwave with no worries…
for 11 days we have an average around 34° at shade with peak up to 42°...😓 the other plants seems freezed...
she liked the new pot and showed a healthy growth….
----------------
like other plants mushrooms grows with her….sign that ecto-myco are well alive and at work...👍
for those who could be interested with that -- feel free to check the 2 Week on my main diary "Let Mother Nature do the job" all is explained 👌
due to this insane growth i made a light lst to make her breath a bit better...she liked it and grow more during the next night 💪
again after a hard day with 37 ° at shade i found her floppy…
i sprayed with algae...but it seems that i have to find a good solution to protect plant for heat…..
stay tuned folks i think i find an amazing product to fight and protect…
she drinks a lot of water...so i decided to add few pinch of mealworm N/P/K = 22/35/24 with 10% calcium….
this organic stuff is amazing 👊 feel free to ask if you want more info
time is approaching for a new transplant i think…..
but today she makes me laugh early in the Morning with my coffee showing me another "laccarria laccata" wich have again poped during the night by holes on the airpot side --- sign that even side roots are infected….
nature is so strong….🙏🙏
humang being must stop behaving like parasites...for our mother….because she may then treat us as such….and it could be really violent
Sleepers have to wake up 🙌

after being so slow….Razorblade grew a lot in few days depiste to the heatwave….
but she drink water a lot too and shows signs of lock out/deficiencies….so i decided to transplant her in a 50 l pot….made 3 layers in this pot...added biochar and fungus…
unfortunatly the heatwave is still here...but after few days she recovered health due to the use of silic b'cuzz in foliar and soil….
this product seems very good to fight against abiotic stress….in one Week she takes 20 cm in height….and slowly recovered a green color…
i have to admit that the smell is like annouced by the breeder and looks like a bbq/burn wood...very interesting...👍
can(t wait to see the Following of this run

Budofpray ********** Hello folks !! i am back !
😉
i hope this time this shit is behind me…! Seriously it was a crazy story !! 😓
for the first time in a long time I feel much better ! it's like coming back from a black hole 😵….i'm recovering slowly the feeling of time 😄
But it seems that i am on trouble with all my updates….so i 'am going to DL pics until I'm up to date with very little text…
Then i could do a condensed summary of these past weeks and answer to coments and participate again to live chat with all of you !
Again ! thx for all your support 👍 ***********
perviously on this diary…..
this strain is a fool plant….she has erratic growth….sometimes fast and sometimes slow….
i think she is very sensistive to all modifications….heat... humidity...transplant... etc etc.….it seems that she doesn't have fast roots so she had trouble to colonize correctly the pot
she alternates the good and the bad….but she's still doesn't look like a indica dominant plant….
well let's see what's gonna happens for now

this plant was a nightmare to grow up to this time….during all the heat wave she was droppy….fortunatly we have a 2 days break with light rain and she loved that !
in two days 1/2 the leaves rose and the growth started again....
this plant Don't like heat...not at all.…!! all my other plants have weathered these conditions much better ! but we had again a short heat wave annouced for 2 days and immediatly she was droppy again ( pics 7)
i loose 4 bottoms leaves due to N defciciency and lock out caused by the warm temps and by the difficulties for roots to colonize correctly pot.
fortunatly even if temps stay a bit hot we are now with 30 ° and it seems that she just entered into the strecht phase.
for the next Week a lul with hot temps is annouced with 27 average to 30 °C max.
i hope she will like that !

i have to admit that this outdoor run took place in extreme conditions so far.
heat wave, dryness, heat burst…. that is a Strange phenomena i discovered…
this plant was really difficult to grow in comparaison of others.
as i said before she's capricious...and really sensitive to all changes ! alternating droppy phases that you can't explain and some growth phases that you can't explain.
fortunatly as the best moment in this grow we had a lul with this harsh conditions….it allowed her to finally be able to colonize his pot correctly...luckily before entering in stretch.
Ôm nama Shivaya 🙌
--------------------------
in one full day and night she grew hugely high….it s important to see the size diference with the bubba's gift as you can see on the first pic behind the quick kush….I'll talk about it later 👍 in my bubba's gif diary….you ll be surprized i think 😶
-------------------------
this Week we alternated hot and moderated days...two days we have light rain in the Morning and full sun the afertoon ans all the plants loved that.
but middle of Week we had again 35°C and immediatly razorBlade has a droppy attitude 😞...sign that she have trouble with hot temps more than 30°c.
the next and Following days temps was around 30°c and she started again to budding…. leaves looking for the sun and she began to make resin.
the stretch made her grow a lot…. and i need your opinion :
do you thinks guys (and girls^^) at pic 17 that she looks like an 75% indica dominant plant ??
anyway she's the first of all my plant to flowering
announced by the breeder to Harvest in mid september….i think she will be in late….I hope it won't be a problem !
stay tuned guys 👍 cause next week I would ask mark some clarifications.
thx for Following ! happy growing all 🙏

this strain drives me crazy sometimes….alternating grow and slow down….she's sensitive to all stress...and changes. fortunatly few days before the strectch we had perfects days for growing….so after being a very caprocious gril she now budding fast. but several questions remain asked on the potency and the stability of the cross.
------------------------------
not much to say this Week apart she's budding nicely.
the structure of the plant is erratic some big branches here... some little there…. the smell is normal nothing more which leaves me a little disappointed at the moment.
i took pics without and with flash...ans some buds porn i hope you'll enjoy it folks 😍 👍 👊
----------------------
Now it s time to speak a bit about my choice at the beginning and why i made this choice :
i was looking at first for a fast strain with a quick flo time, with indica dominant potency cause for my health disease it is what i need.
So after looking here i found a diary on it ....and asked few questions to the grower @JJjunior...if he was pleased by this strain for example….what i saw on his pics was a real dominant indica. (take a look folks on his diary and compare with mine)
after few hésitations i decided to grow again a dinafem strain (cause my own experience was mixed on this breeder, i had good and bad surprises) but I think I've been a victim of big Dinafem marketing 😜.
so i bought one seed 12.78$ (as you can see on lasts pics) and started this grow...but i found her compare to my other plants slow and not bushy at all...as an indica can be !
i tried to investigate to find other grow diary elsewhere unsuccessfully…. i went on the dinafem website and as you can see on datasheet pic i saw a dinafab test below , so i clik on it i what i discovered rather me off.
as you can see on pic the test indicated a very low THC rate 😳😕😣😡 so i asked Mark the dinafem referent on this diary Week 5. he told me finally that it was a mistake and and he was going to "ask his technician to put up the correct results"
even concluding by : "Thank you for pointing this out I will get it amended asap" but now 9 weeks later Nothing has changed….😓
In fact it's wrong... i'am lying😅
One thing has changed ! 😳...as you can see on the very last pic, instead of the link for the lab test appeared a sympathetic sentence….which seems to me pathetic.
I find this way of washing hands of any problems... disrespectful !
Especially when here something else has been said...i'am sry for you Mark cause i Don't think you are directly responsible of that at all...but understand me in that case one might have the feeling of being deceived by this type of attitude😕
i bought seed announced by you at 18/25 % THC ( and for me the variation between the two rates indicated include the genetic variation)...
and may be i grow a seed with 12.12 % THC max
according to what now you are saying on your website, may be if i had a bad genetics ( ho ? really ?😒 is it possible ?) even if i grew well how manyTHC content can i hope to have ??
8/10 % THC ?? More ? less ?
Seriously Mate !!
Or may be it is possibly your grower - who did the grow of your batch used for your dinalab test - was himself depending a lot on external factors that you mention ….? 😠😙
As you can see Mark…. now every grower after that could be suspicious about what Dinafem says and about what Dinafem sells…!
And it could represent a real problem of tranparency !
i spent money for seed but also for all stuff around, i spent lot of my time to grew her and perhaps i did that for a 12.12 % THC !!!! i am not growing for comercial or something i grew it for medicinal use to avoid opioïds addiction caused by my health disease.
Do you think it is respectful of its Customer ? Please pass this feed back on to your hierarchy ! thk you very much Mark 👍👊
--------------------------
well folks... stay tuned for the last weeks of flowering i am just hoping now having good weather to finish this grow close to the maximum unknown THC rate 😇
thx for following ! happy growing all 🙏
@hugodono,thx dude…
i think this strain is really curious….not vigorous, really sensitive to all changes espcially watering...so due to big heat wave after the repot she had troubles to colonize correctly and quickly the new pot….so as i used fungals i had on the first Bottom leave brow spot two and 2 big fan leaves that i had to remove but to my point of view it s dut to crazy temps…. when i had 3 days really better in weather condition she grew again correctly without more worries….
i am in late in my update on this diary….new pics in coming soon... but now she's budding nicely 😘
