paetel Finally back from vacation and ready to start my first indoor run since 2013. I got the Titan F1 seed as a freebie and recently watched a video about the theory behind it. That got me curious, so I decided to pop the seed. Very uniform and compact auto with little stretch, should be a pretty easy and stress-free grow.
Using the paper towl method, starting 8 pm on 18.01.2026. 48 hours later and we have take off. 😉 Light runs on 10% setting with 150 µmol/m²/s measured at the top of the humidity dome.
24.01.2026: More than 72 hours after planting the pre-sprouted seed, there was still no visible breakthrough. Based on this delay, I suspected that the seed may have been planted too deep. I carefully removed some of the surrounding substrate to check the situation, which confirmed my suspicion. I then repositioned the seed closer to the substrate surface.
12 hours later and the seedling finally decided to show up. 😅

paetel Seedling established well after being planted slightly too deep initially. Corrected early without further issues. First true leaves developed, second leaf pair starting to emerge. Light kept moderate at ~250 PPFD (STIXX50 @ 40%), no stretch. 😀 Watered once (~10% of pot size, approx. 700 ml).

paetel Watered once on 05.02.2026 with around 1.4 L RO water + CalMag. Adjusted LED to ~300 PPFD, STIXX now at 60%. Removed heating mat due to increased temperatures from the LED.

paetel I increased light intensity to around 360 PPFD, which she handled without any signs of stress, and her DLI now sits at roughly 26 mol/day under a 20/4 schedule. She received her first light feeding this week (RO water with ¼‑dose BioBizz Grow and CalMag). I briefly suspected some early droopiness, but it resolved on its own.
