Chommy I've encountered a problem with low humidity. I've been trying to fix it all week. The humidity in the box is only 20%. I keep the little one under a plastic cup and constantly mist the walls of the box.
I bought a mini humidifier, but my draft sucks all the moisture away. The dimmer isn't sensitive enough; either all the moisture escapes, or I get 90% humidity.
I tried humidifying the room itself, but that didn't produce any noticeable results. I just create a lot of humidity locally in the room, making it hard to live in, especially since it's winter. This didn't significantly affect the humidity in the box.
I just bought a Wi-Fi humidity sensor. I'd like to buy a controller, rewire the humidifier's circuit board, and set up an automatic humidity control system.
I've now decided to use small humidifiers in the room right in front of the box; I hope this will help.
@RemoveYourChains, I defoliated too often, and my lamp was overpowering the plants with its light output, but this only slowed growth. The main mistake was overfertilizing during flowering, which I later tried to correct by thoroughly flushing the soil.
Now I have a dimmer for the lamp and I have a TDS meter to monitor the fertilizer PPM.
