14/14 Kritical GB FEM "GB STRAINS"

Chrisandweed First week after germination. I moistened the substrate on the day and I haven't re-moistened it yet, it remains damp; what I do is hydrate them via foliar with high humidity. Edit 01/27/2026: all transferred to 1L pots. I mixed the Light Mix substrate with diatomaceous earth to avoid early pests and unnecessary stress, which honestly, this diatomaceous earth (from the brand Diatical) I feel that if I have a plant under stress, watering with diatomaceous earth helps it recover. Also, when doing the transplant, I moistened the soil and added 100ml of water with the Roots to get the root system working with enthusiasm!

Chrisandweed The watering is with roots for the root system, growth boom, which creates a drought effect with the root, and by the second week, we can start feeding them, silic boom to start reinforcing the cell walls. All of the above in watering, then foliar, I already start applying calmag, too, to reinforce it and thus prevent diseases, pests, or mold. I imagine that due to root problems, it has been coming out weak, but I think it will recover well. This is the curse I have in my hands with the critical bilbo, since this one comes from there, it's a selection from bilbo, so that's where the problem will be hahahahaha I've tried to plant bilbo like 4 or 5 times, and this is the one that has gotten the farthest! I've never had this happen with other seeds hahahahaha even the most that happened was a white widow that wouldn't germinate, but it ended up germinating! The bilbo nooo!! Hahahahaha this one just wanted to scare me, but it's definitely going to be a champion!

Chrisandweed Well, by the end of this week or the beginning of next, I'll be doing the first apical cut and we'll start preparing the main lining area.

Chrisandweed Apical pruning done and shoots and leaves that aren't doing anything, out, let's grow 4 strong shoots, from which we'll get 8 and so on. Well, considering how weak it was, and it clearly was, it's recovering very well.

Chrisandweed Well, here's the deal, they're growing great. One of these days I'll give them a foliar spray with sulfur for prevention, and the following week I'll do it with potassium soap and neem oil. I estimate they'll stay in the vegetative stage for a couple more weeks in these pots, and then I'll transplant to (I can't remember for sure if it's 11L or 13L) and then they'll start flowering in a week or two. I still have at least 2 more rounds of apical cuts to do; we're at 4 tops right now, and my goal is 32 per plant. With those apical cuts, I'll take some clones.

Chrisandweed Well, second apical pruning looking for that main lining. From each cut, I've taken cuttings, generally between 3 and 4 per plant, rooting 2 in substrate in the seedling tray, and another 2 in a glass of water. So it's 2 and 2 per plant, except for a few that had to be 3 because some branches couldn't develop well, or the small hash plant, which due to unfavorable conditions from the start still doesn't have enough material to take the cuttings. About this one, very good, it started with weird and deformed leaves but now it's picking up speed and has a lot of plant material, it's going really well.

Chrisandweed Wednesday 11/03/2026 week and we're in the seventh week. Today I trimmed the tips again, doing the apical cut, going from 8 shoots to 16 🔥🔥💪🏾. Most likely next week I'll transplant them to a pot, I can't remember if it was 11L or 13L, I'll see when I make the change xD. I'm doing 1 foliar application at the beginning of the week with neem oil and potassium soap as a preventive measure to see if we can get through flowering without pests or mold.

Chrisandweed Eighth week counting from germination. They are doing very well, I'm going to let the last shoots of the apical ones I did develop, and we'll see how it goes, because I still have the big doubt about how to do it, whether to fill the 1.5x1.5 with flowers like crazy with hundreds of tips, but at the cost of taking longer and having a harvest from now until summer, or rush it, put it into flowering at the latest by the end of this month or the beginning of next, while I prepare the next harvest with the cuttings and seeds in the greenhouse, and as soon as I cut, I’ll put the new ones in the big one, 2 weeks and into flowering as well. The problem here is that I’ll probably be busy by July, but I would have harvested 2 times... I don’t know, it depends on these weeks, if the cuttings root well this time (I’ve already figured out what was going wrong, now all the new ones I do will go great), and on the other hand, if the last shoots of these plants develop more. Overall, they are all doing veery well and despite some occasional stress, they are developing quite nicely.

Chrisandweed 26/03/2026: the photos are the before and after of defoliation and possibly the last apical cut of main lining. They are doing very well and the lower branches (I messed up in the previous cut by cutting the first node but oh well) are already getting close to the height of the upper ones, and with that, we are getting closer to transplanting and the next flowering phase. The plants are very healthy, several cuttings have rooted and I have them in 1L pots (they will be included in the diaries of the next grow) and with today's apical cuts, I've taken more cuttings.

Chrisandweed Well, SCROG net set up, the first one, I'll put a second one later to support weight, this one I’m putting to open up the plants. Wonderful growth, they’re incredible. I transplanted from the 7L pot to the 20L one and soon I’ll put them into flowering.

Chrisandweed Getting closer to the goal, they're flying like crazy! Hahahahaha they're growing really well, expanding super nicely and the nutrients are under control. There was a slight over-fertilization during the transplant, but I already fixed it. The most affected plant out of the 4 was the "Critical" regular, but I gave it 10L of water with a flush to wash out all the salts and stuff. I did the same for the other 3 but with 5L. Now that they're almost dry, it took them 3 days to dry plus today the whole day 4, they're wonderful, all with their strong leaves looking up at the ceiling. The Critical still has a bit to go, but with the next watering, I think it will recover. Then, I'm going to see if I can plant an auto soon and put it indoors for about 2 or 3 weeks and then take it outside... Honestly, I’ll see because I have certain difficult control problems outside, among others, neighbors who don't know what the word privacy means 😅. Ohh, I almost forgot!! I see some spotted leaves, that's because I gave them a nice foliar cleaning yesterday, front and back, to all the plants with one of those typical potassium soap + neem oil products, all together, like a 2-in-1. Among the things I've been learning with the grows, it's very important to make these applications and not just as preventive measures, but just plain water helps a lot, especially spraying it as hard as possible ON THE STEMS, on all the stems/branches of the plants. It's true that pests usually go to the leaves to eat, buuuut in my experience, they base themselves on the stems and branches, yes, in the part closest to the leaves, buuuut on the branches! So at least once a week I try to give it a good spray as if it were a Karcher, and yes, the cabinet is new and I try to be careful, but so far everything is good regarding pests.

Chrisandweed They are wonderful, I can't stop saying it. I'm forcing the tips to stay below the net for now to keep expanding the plants a little more. I used the Delta Boom product for foliar feeding on Sunday the 12th, so on the 22nd I'm changing the light cycle to 14/14!! The plants are eating a ton, I'm giving them about 3 liters every 3 days or so.

Chrisandweed Well, TODAY, Wednesday, April 22, I'm changing the photoperiod to 14-14! So far, everything is going according to plan, main lining up to this point, vigorous and sturdy, they feel very healthy and drink a lot, currently 3 liters per plant every two days, we'll see how it goes with the flowering now. This first week I'm going to do different applications looking for things hahahaha today I'm going to do a foliar application of delta and I can't remember if I also needed to water. Then, something I'm eager to see is using calcium now between this week and next for foliar application, but this time not just to strengthen the plant, but to activate the Ca²+ hormone, I think it's called, which is basically the plant's messenger that tells it, hey, produce more resin because you're not producing enough! And that way it strengthens... we'll have to see hahahaha but well, today the 14 hours of light and 14 hours of darkness start 🔥🔥 The plants have a canopy around 40cm, I hope I don't have to do super cropping, I'm not a fan.

Chrisandweed Agüita! Hahahahaha they're going strong! Hahaha maybe the most exuberant flowering I've had so far 🔥🔥🔥🔥 AND THIS IS NOTHING!!!! FOR THE NEXT GROW I'M GOING TO DO KOREAN NATURAL FARMING "KNF", which means making my own fertilizer myself, plus, all organic and that's going to be crazy. Well, regarding the plants, as I said, they're incredible hahahahaha they're going super hard, stretching a lot, with about 10cm between last Wednesday and this one in stretch, first week 😅. Applying the silicon is noticeable in their stems which are very sturdy, they don't feel flimsy, they're flexible but not soft, so they'll hold the weight of the buds very well, and when the time comes to bulk up, I'll consider putting a second scrog net.

Chrisandweed I forgot to update the diary on Wednesday 😅, the photos are from Wednesday, May 6th, even though I'm updating it today, Saturday the 9th. They're doing really well, growing very strong and all that, little by little.

Chrisandweed Well, here we go, one week more, one week less. This week, in principle, the stretching should end by this weekend and the beginning of next week. I've already started with the sugars, finished with the delta, and also started with soil watering, not foliar, with the resin. This set will probably last this week and the next. This weekend, I will likely do the defoliation of "day 21" since going 14/14 is a bit delayed. Then, I water every 2 or 3 days with 4L per plant and the ferti; in case I haven't mentioned it, I alternate watering with, watering without. The "without" isn't without fertilizer per se, I either add calmag or a little bit of silica using diatomaceous earth, I do a light watering basically between fertilized waterings. Resin is starting to come out, so far almost imperceptible... But it's coming xD. PS: The photos from last week are mixed up with the "Critical," meaning I uploaded the photos from that other diary in this one, and in that other diary, I uploaded the photos from this one in the previous week. This is already fixed 💪🏽.

Chrisandweed Well, the nice photos are starting to come in hahahaha I gave them the trim this past Sunday to get them ready for fattening up. Let's see how it goes. Maybe this one, at least for now, is the one with the chubbiest buds, the one aiming for the biggest bud size.

Chrisandweed Well, you can already tell they're starting to fatten up and produce resin, little by little it smells more hahahaha. I'm dying for the day of sacrifice to arrive ✂️✂️😂🔥. Look at the buds! They look really fat and they're still getting fatter! Hahahaha I hope I get a good girl. I've noticed a bit of over-fertilization on some tips, just the very tip, burned but very lightly and I hope I've corrected it already, or will correct it soon. I can't define the smell, but ufff... It smells like grass! Like marijuana! It's that smell you expect from some crazy weed hahahaha it reminds me of the legendary weed from the gypsy, those who know, know XD.

Chrisandweed Buuueno, it fattens up like golf balls, problem? From what I've been seeing, the Critical prefers to eat less rather than more, and... Blockage from over-fertilization. I think there's some blockage that's not allowing proper magnesium absorption, and that's where the yellow leaves come from. I'll keep an eye on it over time; it's all trial and error. A little sad for always being at the damn front line and that uncontrollable things like high temperatures cause other problems like blockages and such, it's all crap, but well, the plant still looks good, the white hairs are still growing, and the buds are still fattening up. One day I'll get a perfect harvest xD for future grows, I'll also change the fertilization method and I'm thinking of making an organic supersoil. PS: IMPORTANT, I'm going to put data that I usually didn't include due to the "difficulty" in many quotes since it's difficulty due to a specific situation, of figuring it out, and as I mentioned before, there were blockages and such... Well, I've measured the drainage water of each plant. In this one, the pH values are more or less okay, but the EC was like bleach! In this plant, the pH was 6.24 and the EC was 12.1 MILISIMENS! not microsimens... A very high toxicity! Very similar to the other 4. Basically, my waterings were generally 2 a week, one with base fertilizers specific to each phase, and the second watering was with enzymes, usually with CalMag (a very salty fertilizer), and on top of that, the waterings were usually just enough, there was normally no drainage, so the salts in the substrate were accumulating up to these points. Today, after several days of letting the pots dry out, even looking for a bit of water stress, I did a 6L watering per pot with water and the Flush product to flush out and clean the salts, this time the 6L was the perfect amount to drain enough water to lower these EC levels, and I could also measure them in the saucer and get the result I mentioned earlier. It all started because in the Kritical GB I felt a PK blockage and the plant started eating its leaves to get magnesium; if I had seen it as a magnesium or calcium deficiency, I would have messed up terribly!

Chrisandweed Well, I already mentioned that the plants suffered a massive salt buildup. After the flush wash last Sunday, today, Wednesday, June 10, it was time for the next watering. In this one, I only used the Enzym Boom product to break down all the dead and really messed up roots and release sugars, and the Resin Boom to give it amino acids and the goodies it has, since this one hardly raises the EC at all. The plants generally feel good except for the Bilbo, which, well 😅, is my curse with the Critical Bilbo; for whatever reason, I always mess it up with them xD, either with the seed, or in the vegetative stage, or in flowering. Still, I have to be thankful that it hasn't been a huge problem like in other times and that maybe a third of the plant has suffered the most, and luckily the rest is fine. The main buds, or at least the tallest ones, are nice and fat and smell really good, and they still have some swelling to do. In these photos, it looks really burned, but luckily it's just the fan leaves; I didn't end up pulling any sugar leaves, but... wow 😅. Anyway, with care, on a diet, and until the chop xD.

Chrisandweed The big girl is getting back into rhythm! No doubt, it's a shame that everything that isn't a bud probably won't get smoked, it burned too much with the excess salts and you can tell. Luckily, the main plant focused the excess on the lower parts, leaving the buds much better, and you can see it in the photos. The harvest from this one will surely be reduced, but at least the buds on the branches are forming good, resinous nugs, with big trichomes, the good stuff hahahaha. I'm not removing the lower parts so they can keep sucking up and accumulating the nutrients, and I left the top a bit cleaner. As for the cut and drying, I'll see if the root wash I'm going to do will be enough to at least take advantage of the resin from those lower parts that are more oxidized, or if all of that will just go in the trash 😅 but at least the big buds will stay, and like I said, thanks to their size, I'm going to be able to make the most out of this plant. Definitely a mistake that I hope not to repeat.

Chrisandweed Well, as I said, I'll only take the buds from this one, but damn! What buds are forming hahahaha! I'll probably put a clone of this for the next grow to see if I can do it better. The smell is delicious, I can't explain it exactly, but it smells great and at the same time very strong.

Chrisandweed Unfortunately, they still have some critical left, not as much as the normal critical but they still have some cultivation and that’s awesome! Because this one, despite the serious salt toxicity and having to remove the lower buds because they turned white from salt transpiration, their main buds are forming really big and heavy! And the smell! THE SMELL! hahahaha it’s edible! Literally, it’s such a pleasant smell that makes you want to eat it!

Chrisandweed Finally, we've gotten out of the toxic electroconductivity zone that was at 6000 microsiemens. In the next watering, I'll use the Enzym again, and depending on how things go, I might be able to feed it again later, but at least the worst part is over. Ironically, the buds, despite being the most mistreated plant in the grow, are the biggest and fattest xD and they still have more to go. It's good to know this because for the next grow, I'll be much more careful with this over-fertilization issue, and since it will be with its clone, I know it will produce good seeds.

Chrisandweed Well, it's getting much closer to harvest, I don't think it'll be more than a month until I cut. I won't get tired of saying how unfortunate the over-fertilization is because it has so much potential, in bud density, in resin, in smell, etc., etc... Well, for the next grow, I'll put a cutting of this one.

Chrisandweed Eea, there's less and less left here too. This one is suuuper resinous, it's really a shame about this grow but I'm so excited to grow its clone! P.S.: I updated the diary on Wednesday or Thursday, I think it was. Today, Friday the 24th, I took a close-up photo and a video to show the resin.

Chrisandweed I think this one will be ready in a week, 2 at most, I'll keep an eye on it anyway.
